Just saying the military should in this mod not get orders to shoot civilians in black mesa till after Gordon Arrives in sector c storage in we got hostiles because civilians were way ahead of Gordon and getting help from the marines till Gordon showed up and someone changed the orders from.rescue the black mesa personal to kill everyone accept Gordon cause they Gor new orders to catch him alive for questioning.

In the original game, they’re only ever called soldiers, they have maroon berets exclusive to Army paratroopers, they have US Army ground vehicles, and they have US Army Apaches supporting them. True they have an Osprey too, but the Air Force flies those too, not just the Marines. Gearbox did a great DLC but sort of retconned the branch to be Marines, which always seemed odd to me.
Mod looks good, but you need more scared and screaming scientists. 5:03 they stay there without a single scream, cry etc. 14:15 the same. Scientists stay calm while right behind corner and wide opened entrance are crab zombies. A bit more polishing and it could be good as BM.
NO! Black Mesa is a remake of Half Life it needs it's own mechanics instead of some crappy modern CoD clone with ADS. While I like ADS in some games it's just overused.

The green flashlight night vision is worse than omitting it. There has got to be a better way to do night vision in source, or just stick to the flashlight. Either would be an improvement.
How did you manage to get the remastered version? I have downloaded the mod and got some weird old version with a different weapon and missing npc assets...
So weird the ai is so janky they literally will go up point blank shoot a zombie and stand there while they getting hit and they also friendly fire there squad mates.

Once you subscribe and download the workshop addon navigate to steam/steamapps/workshop/content/362890/1720191293 Copy bmmilitary and Launch Black Mesa Military.bat (Launch Black Mesa Military oldmenu.bat is optional) files to your Black Mesa directory (where game .exe file is). Default game path is: Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\ Run the mod using "Launch Black Mesa Military.bat" file you just copied

Not dissing the player but this looks pretty basic, at least on the level design. Still better than Hunt Down the Freeman though.

Bro, somebody needs to extend the far plane on the flashlight's shadow map. That shadow pop-in is really distracting.
