- Check out my three days experiment with L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tanning Lotion. This video shows my legs before using the tanning and bronzing product and my first application. The L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tanning Lotion has a definite shimmer to it; it makes my skin look as if I am wearing tiny pieces of glitter. The sheen or glitter look may not be desirable to some people. Watch as my skin changes color instantly due to the bronzing aspect of the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tanning Lotion. Kim, I love this tanning product. I put it on when u get out of the shower @ night and I wake up a beautiful tan. However, it fades TERRIBLY! Unless you just keep applying it to keep it up, it gets very splotchy. I haven't tried the spray, but I have used the towelettes and they don't seem to do it as badly 😎
I agree!! It goes on so smoothly and the glitter is pretty but it does leave a somewhat splotchy effect, especially on my feet. No matter how I apply it or exfoliate, it still looks just a little nasty around my feet when it fades. I just put some on this morning. It's definitely not sticky. I have a review up last week on Australian Gold lotion which is really really good. The Australian Gold spray was not effective for me! There's a video up about that one as well.
Yeah, I actually saw that review and wanted to try the Australian Gold lotion. I finally found it @ Walmart but had just bought the Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun Mousse @ Walgreens. By the way, if you go looking for this, it is over by the regular lotions and NOT with the other sunless tanning products. Took me forever to find! So I will try Australian Gold next because I haven't really decided if I like this Jergens or not. Keep the sunless tanning videos coming. I'm always looking for an affordable drugstore option!

I use to use this type about 5 yrs ago when Twilight was the big thing. Will use to make fun of me because of the glitter in it. Back then, it rubbed off on to everything to me and did not last. I would have to pat myself try with a towel after a shower and like you experienced, it came off easily when shaving.

Question will this fade my skin once I shower and add clothes ? And if it does does it wash right off
Some tanning always washs off, even from the sun, because of skin cells shedding. The gradual tan of this stays on for about three to seven days, depending on how much you bathe, perspire, or are in water. For most tanners, I use three days before an event in order to get good color.

This stuff sucked on me it turned my hands orange and it didn't cling to any other parts of my skin I don't know what the deal was maybe I'll give it a second try.
Thanks for watching and letting us know of your experience. This product isn't my favorite tanner. I used some this morning and it was okay but I use plastic gloves oh my hands. My all-time favorite lotion so far is the Australian instant tan. I have a video review up about that on my channel if you would care to watch it. It smells great and has no shimmer.
just another product that turned me orange. i'm surprised so many people are praising this self-tanner. Also it took forever to apply/ blend into my skin.

I just bought another tube to make my vacation tan last longer. It dries quickly and does not leave my skin sticky.

Yea thats alot of glitter. May not try it on second though. Smell is the man thing for me. I cant if it has a strong DHA smell
The best one I have found so far is the one I reviewed last week... the Australian Gold lotion. No glitter and it smells fabulous.
If you wash the next day will you still have to tan part on you?
The tanning part does not wash off the next day, only the temporary stain washes off. It's a great product! I still use use it.
