@ambularofamber lol I guess they do it simply to confuse all of us;) I would like to try some high end tanners, but for everyday use I'm ok with drugstore for now:) Hmm I didn't try it on my face because it's so thick I was afraid it would break me out even more which would not be a pretty sight! a good tip i got for this is mixing it with a little bit of your regular body lotion, it goes on eaisier and dosent streak and you can blend it better/.
try using the spray! its good spray gently in places you want to be tan and make sure you dont use to much and when you go to sleep the next morning youl have a tan beauty:)
I usually like to wait as long as possible before I shower. I usually will put it on before I go to bed so that when I wake up I can shower and the tint of color will wash off with the sparkle. Then you should have some color :) I've always been told to wait at least 4 hours...but honestly I would wait as long as possible to let the color set in! :)
@ProxyPuzzle On my skin it didn't look orange...as a matter of a fact when I used it my friends thought it looked like I had just tanned like crazy because they complimented me on it and said they were jealous lol...it might just depend on how it reacts with someones skin I suppose...I'm sorry that probably didn't help much, but I'm confused as well about the comments because I did not feel that I looked orange. :/
@kishbot hmmm it's possible. Yea, if there is any moisture I'm sure that can make an impact on how even the tan turns out...:/ Unfortunately this is one of the cons of having a fake tan sometimes lol...it doesn't always turn out perfect and even:(
@AnnaTerese1 I heard from someone that the difference is the amount of shimmer in the solution, the other one has no shimmer from what I know...good review, if your looking for a higher end self tanner you should check out xen tan
@x3jennybaby NOOOO! lol girl as soon as I got your comment on my phone I rushed to comment you back on my computer! You should leave it on for a few hours until washing it off. That goes with almost any self tanner. I personally leave it on for at least the rest of the day and wash it off the next day:)
@iloveit1999 hmm that's a good question and I haven't used it for awhile now so I couldn't tell you exactly....but I'd say probably only for about a week or so...lol I'm sorry! I wish I could give you a better answer!
@MiCocinaYBelleza I probably wouldn't...unless you are trying to scrub off what you already applied today:), but if you are trying to achieve an even darker tan, I probably wouldn't recommend that :)
I just used it and I was freaking out because it was so streaky lol Im laying on my bed with just a shirt on waiting for it to dry!! I used to use the old kind that was just white lotion and it worked really good. I hope this works like you say!! (;

I tried this for the first time last week and got awful streaks like no other self tanner has given me before!! I waited a week for it to fade and tried it again last night being way more careful with application and it turned out perfectly. I agree with the hard to blend feeling - it kind of feels sticky after you apply it for a while. I think from now on, i'm going to mix a little of it with some body lotion in my hand before each application so I know that it is blending and not sticky
something i noticed about it is if you dont blend fast enough it starts to roll off like crumbly , how did you apply yours? just rub it in fast or something ?
It can be kind of difficult to blend...so what I tend to do is just do it in parts. I will do the first half of my arm and get just enough lotion for that section, then I will do the upper part of my arm, and so on and so on. It's okay if the tint of color isn't going on perfectly even because the color will still set it smoothly.

@MakeupandHairGirl I usually do it during the day and shower it off at night...but it probably is better the longer you can try and leave it on:)
My Aunt just gave me this, got home and tried it on my face...like it!

Oh well I am not too terribly pale..but yes, when first applied it is a little bit sticky and has lots of sparkle, but that leaves once you shower! :)

Is this the l'oreal instant tan, or do you have to build it up?

Did yours dry sticky and really splotchy
I love this lotion, but it is really hard to get off of your hands... eek! haha.
