Harley Davidson Road King is the pinnacle of classic motorcycles! I’ve owned two, a 2003 and now a 2021 Road King Special. Cannot beat performance, style, or dependability. Again, classic , not saying the bigger baggers, or other manufacturers bikes are subpar, but for classic looks, nothing better! Doesn’t matter what you ride, just ride!
Thanks for your video. Totally agree with your love for the King! Love my '17 RK in Superior Blue, Billet Silver. I hope to do pipes and cam but have a DK aircleaner and breather. Added 14" apes, and a CC Rider seat with backrest that moves me down and back a little. Streamliner collection floorboards and pegs, and extended rear shift lever. lowered the rear with DK Nexgen shocks. Love my bright Eagle lights. Also hope to get Mototeks chrome Razor wheels and whitewalls for more of that 1950's classic look we love. I've subscribed and hope to see more soon and keep riding safe!
Of the touring line, I think I prefer the King. I like the super easy removal of the windshield and even with it on you basically have unobstructed view in front. Plus, they have a quintessential look to them.
I have a 2021 RK and absolutely ADORE it. Your year is apparently the last one of this “Standard” (Classic) model (for awhile anyway). Every part of your review is spot on. The wife and I can rock out 350-400 miles (8-9 hours) with no problems… just a fantastic ride.
You always learn something new. I did not know the RK had a hill hold feature. I did try one on for size but was a little cramped on it. I have shorter friends who love theirs.
I’m currently riding a2005 Superglide TC88 which I love but am considering moving up to a Road King & I happen to love the 107, many riders prefer the 107 over the 114. New sub here from Philadelphia, nice little review of your bike, stay safe!
My 05 classic is a rad bike .. I would definitely buy another king..I don't like the classic only because the bags don't lock.. but I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ this bike. I agree the road king lineup is the best Harley hands down
On point with this vid, I have a 2022 FLHP RoadKing and will keep it for ever. Classic styling, best long or short distance traveler in the Harley line up. The 114 delivers enough for me.
Still don,t know why you have to pay extra for all those things when you pay $30k for a machine. I have 3 harleys and other brands have those things (LED light etc) already on them! Harley marketing!

I had a 2017 Road King. Loved it. I had two reasons for trading. 1) My wife wanted the tour pack for long trips along with the stereo. 2) I wanted navigation. I went from the 107 to the 114 when I got my Ultra Limited in 2019. That was a plus, but I didn’t trade for that reason. If I was riding solo, the Road King would still be my “go to” bike.
Great video,at the beginning I thought it was a Heritage,great looking bike,I own a 2003 Heritage Softail Classic and I ride her everywhere,great touring bike,I get great looks from her as she is loud and looks amazing,I’m either going with a RK or Street Glide for my next bike,any thoughts anyone?

I own a near classic Electra Glide and a Honda GoldWing GL-1800. I am also in the process of restoring a 2005 Road King. I do have to say that the Road King is my absolute favorite Harley. I kick myself everyday for selling my 99 RK when I bought the Electra Glide.
I had every touring bike HD sells and all built to the teeth. Currently I have a Lowrider ST-131 and still think the Road King was the best of all my touring bikes. The RK is the only one I regret selling.
I made the mistake of waiting for the 114 to be put in the standard so Harley dropped the bike and brought out some Elvis version with giant whitewalls and a single cylinder seat.

My RK standard is my favorite motorcycle period. I was hoping to get a new one for the 120th anniversary year but unfortunately Harley pulled it from the lineup. I don't care for the special that much. And the Highway King is overpriced and is not, well, a Road King.
