I was baptized at 8 and have been a faithful member of the church my whole life except for a couple of years of inactivity as a teenager. I've served in many callings and completed a faithful mission 30+ years ago. But regardless of all I've learned and done, I have sometimes wondered how much God cared about me, if He was there, if my decisions mattered, what my purpose was, or if there was a plan for me personally. Through God's grace, I had a unique and special experience about a year ago that has helped me know what it means to have the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. There is not a day when I do not feel God's love in my life, and that is a feeling I never want to go away. I pray always "without ceasing" and I hold fast to the iron rod...each day. I know more than ever that God is there and that He loves me. I know what it means to feel the spirit everyday, and though the future is always uncertain, I know that everything will be alright. Wherever you are in your life, whatever you are experiencing or going through, do not give up. Do not give in to the evil that exists in this world. "Prove all things and hold fast to that which is good." Do not deviate from the gospel. Remove distractions that take you away from God. Turn off the radio, turn off the TV, put down your media devices, and make time each day for scripture study, meditation, and heart-felt prayer. I promise that as you focus on the Savior and your Heavenly Father, humble yourself in prayer, study God's word, you will feel the Spirit testifying of truth and offering comfort along your journey. I can testify that God loves me, and He loves you. I know I am not alone, but it took me a very long time to reach this point in my life. Press on. Endure the pain and difficulty life can bring. Be patient, have faith, and wait on the Lord. He is worth waiting for. All things will work together for your good. Life can seem very long at times, but in God's eyes, our existence on earth is a mere blink. Some of the blessings He has in store for us may not come for many years, and some are reserved for after this life. But the blessings will come. The day of your deliverance is at hand.
This video is an answer to my prayers! I am truly grateful for these amazing ways that the church finds to help us. Brothers and sisters, do not fear or give up! I’ve been struggling with some issues that always makes me ask where is the Lord when I need Him, or where can I find peace, but they ALWAYS get vanished alway when I stop and pray. It’s amazing to think that I have been given this opportunity, to just pray and ask for help, comfort and strength. Never give up on what you know that it correct, and never let any man or woman convince you of the reverse. We need to persevere and be faithful if we want blessings, and this is exactly why Christ sacrificed himself! Let’s make that be something valuable everyday by not giving up, facing our fears and issues without losing our faith. I promise that it will be better soon, no matter what you have been through.
Like so many others, I suffer from the incurable disease anxiety. I was born with a broken mind and have experienced the consequences of such since I was a little girl. As such, fear is a uniquely real and constant presence for me. However, there is a scripture from 2 Timothy that I have memorized and continue to cherish, (1:7) “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
I wasn't born with it but I been thru lots of trials and I'm going thru one right now. And my fear is turned to anxiety/ depression. I hope i dont lose my family if I do I don't know what to do
Danny Martinez there is hope. I suffered greatly over thirty years ago. I found Reid Wilson’s book don’t panic and once I learned the nature of anxiety I learned how to manage it. Reid actually says that it is the most curable disease. I have experienced a great relief from this debilitating condition. There are answers and one is unconditional love from yourself and others
Danny Martinez Life can be frustrating, difficult, and, at times, heart breaking. But one thing is true through it all: everything works out. No matter what happens in life, “it will be alright in the end.”(Holland) the very reality of Jesus Christ, Redeemer, Messiah, Emmanuel, is an eternal promise that you can be made whole. He is, in reality, the Prince of Peace. My prayers are with you Danny, God Bless.
After struggling with my faith this night, I came across this video after looking up ‘doubt’ I love the scripture ‘look unto me in every thought, doubt not, fear not’ it is not every day God speaks to us directly through the scriptures, so when He says something directly we need to trust in Him. Deep down I have faith, but an anxiety disorder known as Scrupulocity affects me every day, making me have questions sometimes. I have just recently gotten back into the habit of reading my scriptures daily and praying daily, and I’ve already seen a difference. Though what may be on the surface of my thoughts, deep down I love this church and the prophet, who cares for each of us.
Thank you, it's difficult out there right now and even at home. Covid19 and earthquakes and Lord knows what else that is coming next is scaring a lot of people. This is reassuring and encouraging to not fear and just look to God, get closer to him however we can and everything will be okay❤
It’s like a metaphor too with the apostles and Jesus in the boat. Life is windy and stormy and knocking us around in this dark world. But Jesus can calm our storm
Wow I’ve seen this vid the past few days, but i just kept voiding to watch it. Until I was watching a vid today starting your day with God and led this video to be played next and it was literally so comforting to know God has always been by my side through unknown scary times 🙏 God bless
i often fear not being good enough, or being able to complete the tasks i am faced with without failing or not doing as good as i would like. i become so scared that i don’t even try. i let this fear overcome me to the point were i don’t try at anything because of the fear i will fail. this video was an answer to the subject of my prayers this entire week.
With the fires in the western states and the climate change happening, this has gotten me pass through fear in knowing Heavenly Father is mindful of us. He will help us get out of the commotion in the world right now and knowing that hope is on its way.
I wrote something on this same page, six months ago, I'd like to add something today: The theology of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, has helped me to overcome fear. The mighty God that our Heavenly Father is, the power of our Redeemer to help us get out of the pits that we ourselves make, under conditions of repentance, is a powerful doctrine to overcome fear and for that, I am grateful.
It's hard to go through this life. I am thankful that I have a Father and Heaven and a loving, saving elder brother to walk with me, side by side, through it all.
I love my father in heaven so much and my saviour Jesus Christ no matter the challenges I may or have faced he helps me to see the clearer picture of remembering all of the teachings that I was taught throughout my childhood especially receiving and accepting the gospel in my life it has brought me so much understanding and great joy n the willingness to keep on pressing forward that no matter how hard my day or a decision I make he always reassures me every time I turn to him he lets me know that everything is going to be ok "love what the Lord loves, by keeping his commandments, going to church & keeping the faith & always look to him and always be of good cheer that if we do all these things he has promised to lift us up at the last days and we shall be at peace and live with him through all of eternity" I bear my testimony that I know my heavenly father loves me n if I work on making better choices and to keep his commandments he will bless us and make miracles happen in your life, sometimes we feel like we can't handle life's challenges but he does not give you or me a challenge he knows we cannot handle trust in the Lord with all your might mind and spirit and he will be with you carry you and fight even the hardest of battles with you and don't you ever feel like giving up for he is always with you forever until the last days. So be of good cheer and do not be discouraged for he is always with you forever Amen🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🌸🌸🌸💏💏💏💗💗💗🥰🥰🥰👶👶👶🧚♂️🧚♂️🧚♂️🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️💗💗💗💗💗
Yes i do fear and, troubled every day bcoz of my present situation but im so thankful for this message.. And, the book of mormon.. Truly our heavenly father is there for us.. Thanku..
My grandma is probably my favorite person in this world, I have bad bad anxiety issues and when I do, we go down the stairs of her lake house and go to the fire and write on paper what we fear and burn them, and she says something very close to this. 🥺❤️
I always have fears in uncertainties in my life , I think this normal for human beings coz we can't predict what lies ahead...what did is me commit myself to completely immersed in the scriptures, pray daily and do things which align God's will , though not perfectly. Repent everyday. I felt the Holy Ghost comforted me. I have to keep going in this life journey with positive outlooks and Trust the Lord in every way... My fear is replaced by Faith! I always love the gospel being taught to us in the LDS church. It is of God. I know the truthfulness of it. Am grateful being a member here. As long as we abide on it. I felt God's presence . He lives and loves us!!
That's a beautiful and true promise, if we follow Him, we will not be troubled. If you're feeling scared, lonely or sad, I invite you to say a prayer, have a desire to believe, I know you'll hear from Him, He will bless you and you will feel peace.
Everyone experiences fear. When we turn to God, we will have help to rise above our fears. This will usually happen little by little when we choose to exercise faith in Christ, then act with that faith.
So I am so happy to have a Heavenly Father cuz he makes me feel very comfortable and warm inside so please pray and love Heavenly Father so please love him and Jesus.
I know how the Specially the world in this Days with all that bad Temptation we forget they were alone but we not and that’s all we have to worry about that we have him and nothings going to happen all we are here is to wait for him when he call for as and in the same time let the ones they come behind repaired for the world😇
a testimony is like a muscle, the more you work it the stronger it gets. look for little moments to help build your faith. for example if you are feeling bored, maybe read your scriptures, or watch a short video from the church. the little this will help just as much as nightly and morning prayers. ❤❤❤❤❤
B A it’s within you. The fullness of faith. Tap into the remembering. Pull back the layers the world has put upon you, and see how deeply you can begin connecting to the savior. Pray for the veil to thin, and miracles can take place in your life. The unfolding will begin.
Fear can act as a compass. Follow what frightens you. "The quickest way to acquire self-confidence is to do exactly what you are afraid to do." "It’s okay to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really brave."
This was timely, given where the world went only a few months later and the uncertainty we still experience while waiting to see what a new normal looks like.
I have some fears not knowing the future. I’m afraid of getting older. I just got my patriarchal blessing. It said that I won’t be alone when I am older and I have an amazing future. I am currently serving a call and doing all the right things. It is hard to sometimes trust the lord. Should I trust the lord, and keep praying to him that everything will be alright? I mean, I have grown a lot over the years.
Thanks for sharing your feelings, Megan. The following message from YW General President, Bonnie Cordon, will bring you comfort as you learn to trust in Lord despite your fears and uncertainties. We know He will direct your paths! ua-cam.com/video/XDDdTSZW7qc/v-deo.html Take care.
I love this message! My favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given a spiritnof fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Recognizing fear doesn't come from God has been such a strength to me.
I was having a Panic attack (btw, not the same thing as an anxiety attack which I still experience today) when I found this and I was starting to doubt. I've asked Heavenly Father in my prays for someone to help me, to help me continue to cling on the Iron Rod. I'm starting to let go and I'm scared, I'm extremely scared. I'm scared I will become like Lamen and Lamuel because I have had many miracles happen to me but for some reason I still doubt. I am the president of the 11-12 girl's class (Sadly no longer called Beehives). I am the only girl my age at church, my only real friend doesn't go to my school. I see her twice a month and wish that I could see her more. She's not a member of our church. My mom has to go down to Florida every other week. I NEED someone to relate with me. I have to take care of my siblings when she's gone. I feel alone. I'm scared- really scared. Please like and comment if any of you have ever felt like me. I need someone to help me cling on to the rod. I'm really scared.
@Rane Clod, we're sorry for the challenges you're experiencing. Have you talked with a trusted adult about your questions and fears? We encourage you to speak with a parent, teacher, or leader about your fears and concerns, and to continue to pray to our Heavenly Father. You are not alone, you are loved, you are stronger than you know, and we encourage you to reach out to those around you and get help. For you or others struggling with anxiety or other mental health challenges, we would encourage you to visit mentalhealth.churchofjesuschrist.org/ for helpful information and resources. Take care!
I'm so sorry you're struggling! I also struggle with Panic Attacks, and so I know that it is very easy fear and doubt, but I promise that as you continue to pray and grow closer to Heavenly Father, He will give you His Peace, and the strength that you need. You are never alone. And the fact that you are worried about becoming like Laman and Lemuel shows that you are not. That is the fear and panic talking, not you. Believe me, I struggle with those feelings and thoughts too. But in those moments where you are barely holding on, close your eyes, take a breath, remember Whose Daughter you are, and straighten your crown.
Life will never be a picnic, held on an idilic park full of the most beautiful roses. For the believer, it is well known that God has a plan and that we are in it. We are among those believers, and as latter day saints, we know what the plan is. Furthermore, we know the outcome of the plan, thus we face adversity in a condition that is full of faith in the Lord jesus Christ, the Maker of our salvtion and final refined state: exaltation and life eternal .
Flore Came across this today. Flore, I often feel the same! It is sooo hard. My husband and now most my children have left the Church and the Gospel Covenants. My heart has been broken for many years now. It is many times unbearable and I want to die. Please know you are loved. Do your best to cleave to your Father in Heaven and He will comfort you even if your circumstances don’t change. Praying for you💕🙏😇 ua-cam.com/video/bJakLAsv_IU/v-deo.html
I worry about my fiancée. She and I miss each other so much! It hurts 😢 I also know that Jesus will help comfort us until we are able to see each other again. It just hurts 😢
The lord God is ever and always with me infact is i the child of God Not with my father he loves me only that searchametacese meet changes my life, well keeping commands, stay closely in his precese, holy place all right thanks FOR a good care of me in holy his spirit truth name amen 💐💐
I’m leaving on a mission soon and I am very scared. I’ve been praying for comfort and strength that I will be able to complete his work and be a good missionary. What an amazing answer to my prayers ❤️ I cant wait to serve my savior and spred his love
I love this video so much beautiful my sister and brother I love going out with the missionary work i love to study out of the book of Mormon i always want to get marriage in the temple
Delores Richardson pray to Heavenly Father but a prayer as if you talking to your a loving understanding father talk to him, he is waiting for you to ask to help you with your troubles. Also by reading the scriptures such as the Bible and Book of Mormon, do a small prayer before you read and ask to find answers and you will i know this cuz I have find my answers every time I read or at least I feel comfort.
There of course is more to peace than what I’m about to say but always know that your loving Father in Heaven never gives us more that we can handle. Difficult at times but manageable. Trust God for help, pray with sincerity, he will be there.
I find peace in the Hymns particularly the Sacrament Hymns. I just listen and let myself be still. I have heard many times that if we want to talk to God then pray, if we want God to talk to us then read the scriptures. I love that. It's that simple. But it takes practice and patience. Offering daily gratitude to God is also a great way to see his blessings. It makes us aware of the small and great ways that he is a part of our lives. He hears our prayers. He won't abandon you. Whatever you do, just remember that righteously holding on is what we must do while the Lord prepares us and prepares a way for us to recognize and receive His Spirit and His blessings.
Turn to God in prayer and then go find someone to serve. Sister Bonnie H. Cordon in the April 2017 general conference taught this principle wonderfully. "Trust in the Lord and Lean Not" Listen to it. Read it. The truth taught in this talk sustained me not long ago. Number 1, because it's true and number 2, because I followed it. God bless you.
NO WORRIES By: Randy Wells The Lord has been dealing with me about worrying. Concerned vs. Worry Being concerned about something is a preparatory mind set as part of our defense used for ourself or on the behalf of someone else. It's a pre-action for a reaction. It is meant for preventive measures. Regulated concern is necessary. Concern is a tool used by our flesh and our heavenly spirit working together and is good as long as it stays balanced. Worry is concern gone haywire. Our flesh is saturated with worldly thoughts that separates itself from our heavenly spirit being. This makes our flesh feel as if it has no control over what ever the situation we are faced with. This begins a fear factor within us that begins to take control over our thoughts and hinders our ability to stay connected to God. We lose faith. This is why Jesus has taught us not to worry about anything and worrying is considered sinful.
The Book of Mormon is absolutely true. Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Can be and is only one church on earth commissioned and authorized by Jesus Christ. All others are man made. Thus, all the religions, churches, doctrines, teachings, practices and arguments. Face this fact all you people out here arguing over who is right. There is only one true church otherwise there is no God or Atonement. Nothing. The Lord Jesus Christ called a prophet in these Ladder days to restore HIS church and all the plain truths of HIS gospel. Why? Because it was prophesied, promised and fulfilled and most certainly necessary!!!! The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints is this the Lord's Church. He named it himself.
In my daily life feel not accomplished not accpect cause my special needs I had troubles with bullying I just ingore the builles I’m stronger then I know I am feel like I don’t fit in that I’m worse even thou I know am. Not and challenged in life obstacles

I know Jesus Christ loves us and he dies for us and are sins and we need to repay him for that by following his commandments
I've been struggling, and now I'm so grateful.
I know how the Specially the world in this Days with all that bad Temptation we forget they were alone but we not and that’s all we have to worry about that we have him and nothings going to happen all we are here is to wait for him when he call for as and in the same time let the ones they come behind repaired for the world😇
Very timely. TY 💜
I wish I had more faith in Jesus Christ.
We all do. Pray and ask for more faith, then act!
a testimony is like a muscle, the more you work it the stronger it gets. look for little moments to help build your faith. for example if you are feeling bored, maybe read your scriptures, or watch a short video from the church. the little this will help just as much as nightly and morning prayers. ❤❤❤❤❤
B A it’s within you. The fullness of faith. Tap into the remembering. Pull back the layers the world has put upon you, and see how deeply you can begin connecting to the savior. Pray for the veil to thin, and miracles can take place in your life. The unfolding will begin.
36 Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.
Doctrine and Covenants 6:36
These little videos have been really helpful to me!!
This is the only thing that keeps me going.
i love church
Perfect timing in my life.
This message needs to make the rounds again.
I needed this video. It was sent 2 me by someone that has no clue i am even going thru a trying time right now !!!
Fear can act as a compass. Follow what frightens you.
"The quickest way to acquire self-confidence is to do exactly what you are afraid to do."
"It’s okay to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really brave."
Susan Diane Howell love this!
That just changed my life
I needed this today. Thank you.
Nice post, tnx for sharing
Needed this today. I just can't see the way forward.
Do you need to see to take the next step?
Thanks for sharing your insight, Ariel!
Key right there love what the lord loves.
Thank you for this video, after something that happened, this really made my day. Its was glad to see my old friend testifying, shoutout to Vanessa
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The world is all in commotion be not afraid for I am.
I know the gospel is true but that doesn’t stop me to feel overwhelmed, too much going on, I can’t take this no more!
Flore
Came across this today.
I needed this today 🙏🏽🥰
Welcome to life. It is short. Make it the best.
Who could dislike this???
Tony Gee when you have been hurt by the church, these messages don’t always feel the same. They are often sad, and a reminder of that pain.
I worry about my fiancée. She and I miss each other so much! It hurts 😢
I also know that Jesus will help comfort us until we are able to see each other again. It just hurts 😢

Ask and you shall receive,
Sometimes I feel troubled and I don't know where to go or to turn to so what can I do to help me with my troubles?
Delores Richardson there’s a hymn about that!
💖💖💖 thank you.
This is awesome

NO WORRIES
By: Randy Wells
The Lord has been dealing with me about worrying.
Concerned vs. Worry
Being concerned about something is a preparatory mind set as part of our defense used for ourself or on the behalf of someone else.

The Book of Mormon is true
No is not true is created by human no god is false
@@marvinruiz4997 you're wrong but ok.
