      That would be cool if you got into it again, it's so darn addictive. Try this one out - it's a lot of fun to scan stereo images and hear things that you didn't notice. Led Zeppelin is especially fun with it because they do so much panning. Of course I wasn't going to show that on this video due to copyright junk but here at home I like to scan through their recordings a lot.

    Good to see you again friend. I wish I could take time to learn this stuff. I'm still trying to figure out the pedal board I built 4 years old 😂😂

      Great to see you Jeff - the day us guitar players actually figure out pedal boards is the day will become millionaires 😆

    Hi!
    In the full version, as I tried to extract the vocal sound, I couldn't get the drums to disappear. The drum sound is almost always playing along with the acapella. Any tips on what I can go wrong?

      @guitarmeetsscience  10 місяців тому +1

      Hi Laszlo. If you really bring the 'dot' up to the top, and it is centered on the voice, go to the low frequency control and raise it up a little. That should get most drums out. Then you can bring the little drum reduction slider up just a little (lower left mini slider). You may need to adjust the next 2 sliders to the right for Max reduction.

    No one's music is safe...... As if sampling wasn't already a problem. So I can use this and make John Bonham my drummer....

      Hey Philip it's funny you mentioned that because yes absolutely You can. The John Bonham model that I had trained is pretty cool - I even took some old cheap drum machine and ran it through it and it sounded just like Bonham bashing it out in the studio. It is crazy! I'm in the process of putting up a web app that does all of this. I figured might as well go big or go home

    Hi!
    When will you be making new tutorial videos? :)

    • @guitarmeetsscience
      @guitarmeetsscience  10 місяців тому +1

      Hey Laszlo! I haven't gotten around to making any videos much less tutorials. I'm working on a brand new product that's going to be web-based. I'm hoping I'll get it done a lot sooner than I did with the stereo sound extractor haha. That took a year or five. I will keep more tutorials in mind for this though, maybe a live stream workshop of some sort might be an idea as well. I'm not sure when I can do it but if that sounds like something that would interest you let me know.

      Sounds great!
      Good luck with it!
      One more question... Do you plan to update your Stereo sound extractor vst plugin in the future or is this the final version?

    • @guitarmeetsscience
      @guitarmeetsscience  10 місяців тому +1

      I'd say that plug-in would stand on its own, so I have no updates planned for it, I'm coming up with new ideas and new methods that have evolved a lot since I developed that plugin. But all of those are most likely going to be accessed via the web and subscriptions etc. The stereo sound extractor is handy and its own way since it is local on the computer so I'm going to keep it available and get more of the word out as my other products start coming out. I can't see how it would be updated any further than it is - so much work went into that plugin.

      One last question....
      In the previous videos the plugin looks different...
      I guess it's because of the constant evolution of the program. Is there a way for those who have purchased your plugin, (as I did...)
      Do you share the previous versions with them? Just so that anyone who is curious can track the plugin's development, test it, etc.

      So far to my knowledge my whole database got wiped out, but the latest evolution in terms of the actual isolation as well as the removal of chosen elements never changed, I left that code alone. The only thing I did since was add more knobs to control a few more elements, and add a page so that one could also extract stochastic elements like drums etc. However if I do come across any of the old copies I'll make them available. But as far as the testing goes this is the cream of the crop.
