I used it for 17 days so far and have 37% battery remaining (using it for sleep tracking, heart rate monitor, no message or call notification though). The band is not bad but not something that would blow me away. The tracking is not so accurate. The steps are counted okay if you walk outside not holding something in your hand. For running, it is decent as well (for 6k running distance, it counted it as 5.7k). Not bad, not great

it shows the name if the contact is saved or the number if u don’t have the contact saved. same applies to sms as well.

It's 2018 , may 20 now.
Bought this band a week ago.
Updated firmware as soon as I first booted watch.
My honest review
1.pedometer is now improved (just shows 2 steps extra)
2.sleep time is very accurate.
3. Heart rate is now almost accurate 95% accuracy.
4. for 7 days only 19% charging drained for me.
5.calls and messages and apps messages are notified , while it comes to calls and messages, name of caller or messenger is displayed but while comes to app notification only app symbol is shown.
6. Band looks very very cool and got a award at reedit or something, mentioned in user manual.
7. Still ordered an extra strap from mi store app.
6. Charger cable should be kept carefully.
8. Alarm helps me alot , I used sleep too much and sleep very late but now sleeping soon as suggested by mi fit app and waking up soon because of watch vibration as alarm.
Very helpful for me because while driving a bike caller name shows up.
Can we display "day/date" on mi band 2 so that we can replace our regular Digital watch by mi band 2?

I don't think you can rely on Fitbit's heart rate. Fitbit has been sued over highly inaccurate stats.
