Just found these video exercises on UA-cam. I am 84 and regularly attend a local Gym So happens that many of these 'abs' I do on a mat, after starting with 15 mins CV, to get the blood flowing and am encouraged to see what I have been doing are spot on. I have been doing these for over 20 years can certainly recommend the positive benefits of them. People are astonished when they learn my age. There is no age limit!
Thank you so much for this awesome video! I found this amazing stretching routine 3 years ago, and I've come back to comment on it because it ended up being the foundation of my entire exercise habit that has helped me to lose 50 lbs. In 3 years, it still wasn't until the last 6 months that I had any success in creating a really consistent exercise habit, and this 5 minute stretching routine is the one thing I kept coming back to any time I fell off the wagon or got too bust to stay consistent. It's 5 minutes of pretty light exertion (all things considered) and it gave me something that I could do no matter how tired or busy I was. Doing this meant I would feel more ready to tackle a workout in the day, or even if that wasn't in the cards I at least felt better not having a sedentary day. Having this simple 5 minute full body stretching routine was exactly what I needed to learn to make fitness and self-care a daily habit like showering, or brushing my teeth. Once I was able to make this a daily habit, I was then able to extend that habit into 10-20 minutes of yoga and a workout regimen through the week. But I still get busy, I still get thrown off by life, and I still come back to this amazing stretching routine to make sure I'm doing something for my body every day.
Thank you for your comment Evan. I find I keep coming back to this 5 minute morning exercise over and over again too. On days where I really feel like I'm not managing this is one thing I can do for myself. I find it is just so easy and undaunting to simply follow along and often end up adding on a little more exercise which I wouldn't have if I didn't start with this. It also helps that you can do it anywhere. Thank you Thomas Tapp and the TappBrothers!
I don't comment on UA-cam, but this is my first time commenting. Thank you so much for this morning routine stretch! After doing each pose for 10 seconds, it really helped my back muscle to be stretched! I feel so good now! no back pains! I will be doing this every morning. Again, thank you so much for posting this!
This is the first video i did years ago. 😀 Soooomany others now. They are all fantastic. Thanks to all the amazing specialists who post on here. 😁 ♥️ 😘
I've been doing this every 'morning' (I'm a bartender, so my morning is most folks lunch time) for 3 months now. It has changed my life. No more shoulder pain from being a foot too short to reach anything. No more back and hip pain from twisting/spinning/hopping/skipping behind the bar. No more more zombie hour in the morning. My only concern is the heart attack my husband almost had when he came home early from work and the housework was already done.
I never comment on UA-cam, but I wanted to tell you how much this video and the follow along helped! I experience chronic pain and especially tight muscles from tension related to PTSD. Most follow along videos I've found either don't give me the stretch I need or are too difficult for my flexibility level. This was perfect and I felt so much better immediately after performing these stretches. Thank you!! ☺️☺️
I think that a lot of my tight muscles can be attributed to this too!! I had so much trauma growing up and into my adult life and whenever I try to do exercises to stretch something, it is too hard!!!! I can't do it properly and have to try really hard to hold the pose. I hope that this session will help me. I also am planning to start seeing a physiotherapist soon to address these issues and create a plan that is do-able for me. Good luck!!!
pamBBB stay with it Pam ... but do the steps slowly and don’t try to hold poise too long, work up on for 1 to 2 weeks. Just do what you can for now without producing any more pain. Also note that the body stretches are much easier with the breathing along with doing affirmations and meditation during the poses.Good luck!
Thank you very much👏for sharing these exercises with those that appreciated your time. I will try these myself as well. Its really nice to see people like you taking the time to share what has benefited you. Keep up the good work don't let the negatives bother you-theirs too many jealous people in this world...so sad that they are so miserable it really doesn't take much brains to be kind and appreciative to others.
Mate I really do love the stretches and free tips that you offer. What I also like is the way you give credit to where you learned the exercises and stretches yourself. In today's world too many people fail to acknowledge those who helped them along the way. I tip my hat to you Sir.
Appreciate to have another video that emphasizes when to breath in and out. Every time I practice, there is full of doubt in my head because I don’t know how to breath properly.
I've been prescribing to this morning routine and incorporating other exercises into it for years now because of your video. Thank you so much, this video is golden!!! :)
The stretches were simple, and I could see me doing them regularly. Really hoping to improve my flexibility... Thanks! Almost 5-years later and this video is still relevant. Great job!
I have been doing these exercises for three weeks. I am 77 and they are very good and simple for older people such as I. You have helped me stay in shape and keep my back pain under control. Thanks so much!
Love it! These are so easy and not too strenuous. I really like the fact they come from different disciplines; yoga, ballet, Kung fu (bonus). Plus I can remember them! I laughed so hard 'cat cow looks kind of goofy, so be sure to do it in front of lots of people'. Awesome! Laughter is the best stretch for the soul. Thanks! Subscribed!
Thank you so much!!!! I have been doing an exercise routine every other morning now because I have been feeling so bad and it has helped immensely but these stretch out muscles I was not hitting. I have a lot of health issues but these exercises help where nothing else was. I am grateful!!! 1 and 5 in particular...awesome! Big fan!!!
What has helped my joints and whole body feel so much better over the past year is incorporating joint mobility movements into my workout program. Joint mobility drills are simple movements that bring lubrication to the joints, which can help heal and rejuvenate them. You almost have to look at your joints as separate from your muscular system even though they are all connected. When you are doing these movements you’re not trying to stretch your muscles, you’re just moving your joints in a comfortable range of motion bringing nutrition to the joints and sending propriceptive communication to your central nerves system saying it is OK to do these movements.
I love the flow of your yogha exercises. Very simple and short. Trying to do yogha everyday is a challenge for me. I am going to try these exercises. Thank you.
You two are so encouraging and I thank you so much for sharing all of your combined learning from so many disciplines, I'm really impressed by your approach. At 59, these are absolutely perfect for me. I found this again after finding it about 3 years ago...THANK YOU AGAIN!
I felt better immediately. Thank you. I tried to update my email info to access the download, I wasn't able to. I'll keep trying. ...just letting you know. Great Simple Easy to follow. Thanks so much!
Simple and effective! I'm a 55 yo female and I'm able to do most of your routines without xs strains n pains... I'm actually more flexible now and feel overall good physically! Thanks for channel.❤️🇯🇲
I have just started to do these so I don't have anything negative or positive to say. I really don't understand people who are always so negative about everything. I did however, find your typo amusing.
Woah! Just came across this video and this is exactly what I’m looking for, what I need! I’m more than a bit late to the game, but thanks ever so much for this video!!! 👏👏👏🥰
Loved your excercises, I would recommend taking longer in order to do the excersices since now I have to do it , pause it, do it again, unpause it, repeat.

Thank you so much for this. Finally a real beginner stretching exercise. the other "beginner" I found seem to asume I was on the podium on the last gymnastics world championship
I found your exercises the safest for me to begin with, since I am a beginner. I never like to stretch before, but with your video, I am clearly on my way to enjoying the movemnet of my body and God knows I need it. I'm 56 and I want and need all the flexiability I can get. Thank you. Look forward to more routines that I can do every morning and roll out of bed onto the floor.
This is an excellent morning start up right out of bed to loosen up and breathe right to start the day. Well presented and unpretentious. Thank you. I use it before I do yoga to prevent injury. It helps a lot.
That was truly amazing, he didn't exaggerate when he said that he calls it: everaging yourself: put small amount of effort and you get a lot of gain. Unlike lots of the comments, I find the first 2 minutes talking important and useful. As they describe the importance and idea of this training, otherwise it would be just another flexible movements but the value, strategy, and expectations won't be clear.
Thank you for sharing this video. At 72 I can still do these awesome exercise, looking forward for more videos.
Someone is nice enough to show us a great stretch, and people are focusing on stupid things. Thanks for the video
He's trying to make money with it, so his video should at least TRY to be professional.

THANK you for such a positive practice. Your energy is wonderful~ Namaste'~
When you say for instance 30 seconds, how many reps? Thank you so much
This is great, thanks for creating the video. The exercises are short and easy to remember, will practice daily and write again to report the result
These exercises are working great for me. I have done many "morning" routines but this one is by far the best. Thanks!
Here's something new for you... Must try.. ua-cam.com/video/Mvun4DLi6AE/v-deo.html
