Guys, I already filmed this entire cleanup. Covering the number isn’t an option. It’s really not that big of a deal and I don’t know why people are so worried about it 😆
@@brumbleyjerry8177 Just as a heads up. If someone calls it it’ll just go to voicemail and they’ll never get called back anyway. I just didn’t want people to think they were calling me when they weren’t, and then get upset when I never call them back.
Gee if everyone is worried about the number put something up there like your channel logo or a Bible verse. II Samuel 22:39 "I crushed them completely and they could not rise; they fell beneath my feet". 😂😂
While it is fun to watch autos being crushed it is also interesting guessing about the thought process you are going through or need to utilize in getting the job done.
I imagine you in the cab loading cars singing ( I got a crush on you ) as you push the button on the machine . I rally enjoyed this video , can't wait for the next one . Take care , Stuart in Ontario ........
I think this has been my favorite "crush" video, Silas. I love seeing the cars get processed and made ready for recycling. In their condition, most are just junk on the land, representing some investment on which you should get a decent return. In honesty, and I know you have your reasons for saving many of the heaps, I think you save too many. Anyway, you know you business better than we do, so onward! THis is fun for us.
Dear jimmasters 👍👌👏 2) I think that something like that is still cool. A lot of people are rebuilding/restoring respectively building new custom vans out of normal ones Seeing this one getting crushed with all the cool and expensive accessories still on it, made me sick. A lot of people are searching for authentic parts and would've paid well. But unfortunately most of the scrapyard guys will never learn, sigh. Best regards, luck and health in particular.
I'd love to live close by and watch what unrusted vehicles pass thru your gates. I'm still sick over that white one ton square that went thru you're system. I would have disassembled every nut and bolt on that dented body then saved that complete chassis w all 6 wheels and tires. I have 2 that I've been rebuilding and chasing parts for over 10 years now. Pennsylvania is just to far away for this old man! 😊 Really enjoy your work and video's!
Absolutely your Best #1 drone footage so far! And the rest was top notch as well. You can tell there was quite abit editing work as well. Enjoyed the vid & what you put into this work.
Yeah, i understood what you said about that flatbed when i suggested cutting it down before, you have the title to that, truth is so what, you have to deliver the cab with the title, get a reciept from the crusher to get a trailer/salvage title, then you have to bend the tongue, weld it all together, haul it, get it weighed, and then take it to d,m,v, for a title, and nobody wants to give you anything for it, and at the end of the day, you have too much going on with the business, too cool! Have a good day!
Once again I really enjoyed the ride along with you today. Your place is starting to look really sharp. Until the next time thank you for your time. Keep safe and be well. From A fan in NorthYorkshire ,England. JR.
Cool video I have an idea to run by you about that yellow house trailer rip it dwn and take it out back where you got them little tree's that keeps coming and making a big bomb fire then u can scrap the metal. Oh make sure you have a water truck 🚚 I think it would be good video just give me David " bambam"sound in the video. Have a good day
Dear Loco Essay , Are you Loco essay ? Crushing that sweet lowrider van ! Now where you gonna write about all your adventures and not to mention the all the essays you could've done in that slick ride !! P.S. (PIMPDADDY SILAS) YOU'RE SOOOOOO LOCO ESSAY !! from one Loco essay to another Loco essay , have a great month & I hope it doesn't get to loco for you essay .
You crush a lot of vehicles with tires on them. When I was a kid there was a place in Sausage Illinois across from St Louis that had these huge mountains of old tires. Semi rigs would deliver trailer loads of them. You could smell them melting these old tires. My grandpa said they were using old tires to make new ones. One time one of those mountains caught fire and it burned for over a year. I always thought there was a market for old tires. Do you sell them?
We crushed also cars without enige/gearbox rear axle , and no tires, we get a special price for the steel rims the are hard steel.also the aluminum rims. the empty tires are recycled , engine and gearbox we get a mix price, for aluminum/steel combination, i love that crusher.
So assuming your selling them for the metal scrap recycling value how come you put cars in the crusher still with they’re tyres on? Do you drain off all the fluids ie oil ,diesel ,petrol ,brake and transmission fluids etc? Here in the UK all that has to be done before crushing.
Next time get someone to sponsor you with something like NASCAR does on side of race cars were phone number is. Paint homemade signs and put.on top of cars as you go back and forth as sponsor business . Kinda like signs along ROUTE 66. JUST FOLD METAL IN HALF AND PAINT. (Eat at joes)? Ect
I don't understand the logic of chopping the top on a van, kinda defeats the purpose of having a van, I can understand raising the roof so a person can stand up, but not lowering the roof, might as well get a station wagon.

I would lit to see the loading of the crushed cars onto the trailers. Always great videos, thanks
There was so many good parts on that van
Love watching you ❤
Maybe you could put a magnetic strip across the phone number on the crusher if you can't paint over it? Just a suggestion.

Loved lowrider...hah I had a customized 1978 Ford E-150 in past...super comfortable and took some great trips on it...
Thanks for the great content
Thanks Silas, it sure does take time to process every single car, it's almost as slow as editing!
You do a good job operating that huge forklift,
I’m sitting here eating my dinner watching Silas crush cars I need to get a life thanks Silas I really enjoy your videos
great video once again
IF I had the money, I would buy the newer Ford Pick-up trucks off the property and start my own FORD PICK -UP TRUCK HEAVEN.
Great vid as always. The boogie van hurt to watch!
Now that was a great low rider!!!! Bwahahah
Hey Silas you ever bomb around in the yard with some of the cars that do run people drop off just for fun
you need to find a way to mount your camra on the inside of the cab of your loader.
You should cut the front ends off some of the pickups from the 70s, 80s and 90s like you do with the older trucks.
I love that van. If I was close and not broke I'd save that. Edit: just saw it close up...it's too far gone lol
Yeah no way I’d have crushed it if it was repairable. It was laying on its side in a field when I bought it.
@Adventures Made From Scratch shame, but can't save them all eh lol it crushed nicer than I'd have thought it would.

when you said you made this Vintage CUSTOM VAN into a LOWRIDER I wondered where you had the time to do that? It took 45 seconds!
That’s fucking nasty!! Love it!!
Silas, did you ever go through those two giant trailers to see what was in them?

Did you snag the back row carpet covers?
$220 and $287 each!
Stupid plastic flaps with carpet glued on top.

WOW man I love most of your videos but wow there is a lot of junk to scrap. All good things have to be recycled 😅
Tape over the phone number and put BR549.....Ha ha!
So sad to see that van get crushed 😢.
I hope the crushed vehicles can go away before the prices tank again.
do you have any 60's or 70's john deere yard/garden tractors?
I find it hard to believe that the headlights and tail lights aren’t worth anything on all those vehicles.
Can you put half of the truck and crush it then do the other side
Just wondering, Silas, what is the most tedious thing you have ever done with the loader? I enjoy your camera work.
Definitely processing cars. I dread it
CLICK BAIT? I always envisioned chopping and lowering a custom van but your method is also satisfying in it's own way.
100% legit

Man you couldn't let that expedition die with some dignity no instead you had to tire rape it right in the windshield😂😂
Drink more orange juice 😅
Would it be easier for you if would put a piece of metal on magnets over the incorrect phone number?
Can of spray paint would be cheap and quick also

If you dont use the forks in front of the car, will it move out off the crusher?
He does that so the doors don't open and make the car to wide to load in the trailer just letting you know
