Hi Roxanna, I am an 81 year old widow who has fallen in love with all of your videos. You are so calming and knowledgeable. The other night I found your facebook page. Well, I sat here till 4 am going through so many of your wonderful recipes and printing them out. You inspire me to do better every time I watch your videos. Thank you for all the time you put into them and being so kind. Your daughter is one very lucky young lady. She is beautiful. Good Job Mom! From Massachusetts, Thanks again!
Well hello there! I am so happy to hear from you! That is so wonderful to know you’ve been enjoying the recipes and videos. I can’t tell you how happy that makes me. ❤️😃 Thank you so much for your very kind words and for all the support. It means the world to me. ❤️🥰
Hi Roxanna, Thank You for sharing another Amazing video with us. Roxanna, I Truly Appreciate You and the Wonderful reminders that You shared concerning, the importance of extending ourselves Grace, and how important it is to not fall into the comparison trap. I Love how encouraging, intentional, real, and inspiring You are in your videos. Roxanna, I am Grateful that I am learning to relax more, and realizing that...whatever I didn't get to, or completed within our home...Trust and Believe, it will be waiting for me, the next day, and that is Okay. 😁😉😁 Thank You again Sweetheart, for being a Blessing to So Many of us. Lord willing, until next time. 🙏🏾 Love In Christ, Paula
It will be waiting! Yes exactly! I used to get so agitated at myself and now I feel much calmer about it and it’s been so helpful to me. I hope it helps you. Thank you for showing so much support to me. I appreciate you so much ❤️🙏
At 76 I tell myself the job will get done when it gets done period! I used to kill myself trying to have everything perfect and one day it dawned on me that I was the only one with that expectation. It’s wonderful to be free of that onus! Your home is lived in and lovely don’t be too hard on yourself! ❤❤❤
Hi Cindy! That is what I have come to realize lately! It’s us with this ridiculous expectation and I really don’t understand why we do it but we do. I am so glad you let go of it. It is not worth it. Thank you for your kind words and for being here ❤️😊
Oh my gosh, this video was so refreshing, kind, thoughtful, gentle, soothing and warm. Thank you for reminding us all we are lovely in our own ways, and do not need to engage in the the whole comparison trap. :) Enjoy your weekend!
I get this... i was sick for over a week and didn't have the energy to do anything. Once i felt better, was so happy to get back to my homemaking. 😊 Thank you for sharing.
Wise words, Roxanna. It can be tempting to go on a 'rage clean' after a bit of a slump - almost as a form of punishment - but I have found that taking a gentle, slow approach to catching up, usually results in a better outcome: the tasks themselves seem more manageable and, when completed, bring a greater sense of accomplishment and pleasure. x
Yes absolutely! Wise words! I know the rage clean all too well 😂. I have done that so many times and it’s never given me that rewarding feeling. Gentle is so right. It makes all the difference. ❤️
Yes, yes, yes! Perfect timing. I’ve been getting overwhelmed about my clutter, things left undone, etc. Sometimes we have to cut ourselves some slack. I gotta say though- your sourdough bread looks like pure perfection! I’m struggling with that in my cold house…my starter has a hard time starting🤣oh well!
Oh my goodness it’s terrible the pressure we put on ourselves! I hope you’ve let it go and did give yourself some slack. It will get done and that’s all that matters. On the bread, mine does take a little longer to start and sometimes I don’t think it’s doing anything. I have found putting it near my heat vent helps.
I have not tried this but some ladies put it in the cold oven with the light on. The heat from the light bulb they say helps. Also, some have put it in the microwave. Keep trying you will get it right. Good luck!
I always beat myself up if I didn’t accomplish a million things a day. I’m retired now and people still think I do an incredible amount. For me I don’t. I don’t beat myself up anymore for not getting it all done. I do the best I can each day and that’s enough. I’ve been sick for a week now, have I got stuff to do, absolutely, do I care, no lol. Your enough Roxanna. Enjoy your life even if you don’t get it all done. Some day your daughter will move out and you’ll wish you were a little less consumed. It’s a journey not a race. You are enough ❤️
Your perfect darling yes give yourself grace ❤🤗🤗🤗🤗🙋🏻♀️ it’s okay you just remember like I was you are a single mom most of the other ladies have husbands and a lot of extra help so yes your doing great
Hi Susan! Oh thank you! That is very true and something I never consider. Although I think I might have felt even more pressure at times when my late husband was here because he worked and I was at home with our daughter and I would feel like it needed to be extra perfect then so I would be doing my part. It’s hard on both ends. And the worst part is, it’s us that make it hard lol 😅.
@@aquaintlife I completely empathize and understand the immense pressure you feel to create a perfect environment for your girl while at home, when your late husband was there. It's a unique and challenging responsibility. I want to gently remind you that your inherent worth and who you are as a person surpass any expectations or ideals. You are truly enough, and your efforts, love, and presence are invaluable. Look what you have accomplished on YOUR OWN. IM SO PROUD OF YOU ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
