Axl always wrote from the heart, even if it wasn't necessarily his own personal experience. Patience is just a beautiful song. It's somehow perfectly GNR, even tho it's nothing like most of their stuff.
What can I say, back in the day, the whistling and the "sway" made me fall in love with bad boy Axl for a minute. I couldn't help myself 🥰.

Heard when he was a child he was in his church choir. He also went out with one of The Everly Brothers daughter's around this time then in the early 90s he dated supermodel Stephanie Seymore (she is in the November Rain video)

This is mine and my hubby's song. When we were dating we were doing the long distance thing. It was so hard! Patience was a virtue. It, the distance, worked itself out and we've been together ever since. 34 years and still going strong. Love this song!! It reminds me of how far we've come. ❤

They were good for a while,then went to shit,And it was all because of the lead singer Axl rose,he ruined so many concerts,show up late,come on stage all messed up drunk and cocaine that he couldn't even sing,people start booing and he would storm off stage and quit!There we're many venues that would not have them because of all the refunds ticket outlets would have to refund!!

@@Frankie--da-fixer I think that was more due to mental illness and diva-like behaviour rather than drug use on Axl’s part. That is my theory, anyway. The concert I went to he was both well behaved and the band were on fire (Use Your Illusion Tour).
