@lordsxman If you've seen them do this live, where they medley it with Gone, it's pretty sweet. They literally froze mid-song for over a minute; Jon standing on a monitor, Tim with his bass behind his head, Jerome with his face on the keyboard, etc. It was pretty solid.

You probably show some physical and craziness parallel to Quebec's local Vincent Vallière and/or Les Trois Accords lead singer. Oh well, I really like your interpretation. That proves Switchfoot can improve any song, no matter how bad it can be the original version ( I can´t stand up Beyonce´s original version) but this is just great, mostly the intro.

I know some of the lyrics are not very Christian like...but...if you focus on the chorus, it relates to how God is crazy about us, and how his love makes us also crazy in love with him! It's a far reach, but still, I love this band and this is my attempt in defending them. Their songs have helped me and tought me much and brought me closer to understanding and believing in our Almighty God.

I saw a band called Kutless, and they did the same thing. Froze for about 45 seconds mid song. It had the crowd going wild. It was crazy.
