🚋🌇 *_...It’s a lazy afternoon in Twilight Town. After a long day of doing a multitude of odd jobs on Market Street, you decide to enjoy some sea-salt ice cream on top of the Central Station clock tower. As you make your way through the town's several distinct districts, you can see children laughing and playing in the afternoon streets. You follow the sound of the tower's bells ringing in the distance and before long you find yourself at the station plaza. The clock tower roofs Central Station, looming over the orange, sunlit town. It's a long way up, but totally worth it for the magnificent view at the top. You quickly make your way up the stairs and towards the entrance of the train station. It's busy as usual, with people coming and leaving to and from all around the world, but you're able to quickly snag a popsicle at the nearby ice-cream stand before making your way up to the top of the tower._*
*_The scenery at the top is absolutely breathtaking. As the town's name implies, this world's sun is always in the same position in the sky, never rising nor setting. The endless sunset illuminates the land with red and yellow, providing a feeling of warmth to the plentiful red rooftops of Twilight Town. The sun's orange gold stretches far and wide, the color of fire hearths and tangerines. It sat within that sky, that summer-fruit hued throne, as if it looked over the world, stretching out with sepia tones to everyone below. You unwrap your sea-salt ice cream and take a refreshing bite as you enjoy the view overlooking the town..._*

It was such a beautiful description It really took me in! ❤️😭 I loved Kingdom hearts since I was a teenager when it came out and seeing Twilight Town in the sequel seriously made me realize video games can be art. This music and the town aesthetic have been stuck in my mind ever since!

For me it will always be twilight town. I could die happy if just once me and my best friends could have sea salt ice cream on top of the bell tower and watch the sunset. Did you know? That the sun sets red cause thats the color that travels the farthest......

@@tumultuousv As someone who's only ever played Days (got caught up on the rest of the series via watching cutscenes and summaries. You know, like how most ppl experienced Days), this made me feel a bit sad to read. This place is beautiful, and ending most missions here with Axel and Xion was nice.

I love reading all the comments of everyone who has had special and fond memories attached to this beautiful warm twilight theme. Roxas's intro story will always have such a strong, warm, and beautiful hold over me. Its an instant emotional trigger for me in all the best ways, I will forever have a special place in my heart for this series, this game, this intro, this... beautiful, magical, heartwarming theme. side note that jazz rendition at 53:10 just healed my holiday soul.

My heart as soon as the first few notes played.. I think out of the entire series, the moment when Sora says farewell to the kids he's only just met and he sheds a tear, and he doesn't understand why.. is the most emotional I've felt playing this franchise..
You don't treasure the moments until you realize you'll never see them again...

Kingdom hearts virtually defined my childhood, and this place reminds me of my carefree upbringing in sydney and its surroundings. What a beautifully enchanting place and what a warm ambiance, just like Sydney used to feel like growing up. I miss this series so much, this and final fantasy.
Kingdom hearts was how my youngest sister and I bonded growing up. I remember that summer. Every evening she would come to my room and we would enjoy the world of KH and got to know each other more than we ever have at the time. 😊

When I was younger sometimes i would start the game and automatically play through the tutorials and then leave my game running while this theme is still playing in the background and would draw and do my homework. aaa... such wonderful memories and I hope the new generation that comes after and even more, after create wonderful memories with as well.

The new generation is too busy taking selfies and staring at their phones 24/7. No way their lack of attention span would enable them to enjoy anything these days :p
Watching and listening to this makes me wish that we could all live in a peaceful, compassionate, lively, and fun world like in twilight town. Kids are out playing until it gets dark without a care in the world. Parents, adults, neighbors are out and about having a good time. Families are out together enjoying their time together. Everyone is getting along. A place where everyone could be happy and live together peacefully. Maybe that wish will come true one day ... if it doesn't then you could always shift into a reality where twilight town exists. That is always an option. The world that we live can often be a cold, heartless, unforgiving and very hopeless place. However, there are many beautiful things here as well. I'll just hold on to the hope that such a miracle will happen and that the world will become a place where everyone can live nothing but peaceful, blissful, and bright days.

When i travel to edinburgh i went to the cemetary of calton hill, it was very early the sun was just coming up while i listen to this in my headphones walking...so relaxing, beautiful experience

One of my favorites to study with
I usually put the first person while playing in twilight town just to look at the sunset. Oh boy, it feels like to go back in time when I was 10. This world and all his characters (Roxas, Hayner, Pence, Olette, Seifer and his gang even the mayor 😂😂) they let me travel back to my childhood, my summer vacations most of all 😂😂, a time which was my happy place and which I miss every day.

Twilight Town was and always will be my favorite world in all of the Kingdom Hearts games.
Sure, it's awesome to visit the castle from Beauty and the Beast, or the underwater kingdom of The Little Mermaid, or the realm of the gods from Hercules, or the digital frontier Grid from Tron Legacy, ECT.
But Twilight Town is such a carefree and relaxing place: a city where golden hour is every hour; where kids laugh and compete in festival games during their last week of summer vacation. Here, all you really need for a memorable time is good friends, sea salt ice cream and a gorgeous golden sky to put your mind and spirits at ease.
Always enjoy a beautiful sunset or sunrise, for it is truly a blessing to behold.
Admit it, you played the "deliver the mail" minigame 20 times to get the munny because it was the fastest, didn't you.
