  • 🦊 In this GCSE Biology video, we look at an overview of cell division in multicellular organisms, focusing on the process of mitosis. We explain that mitosis is essential for growth, development, repair, and cell replacement. We break down the cell cycle into three stages: Interphase, where the cell prepares for division; Mitosis, where the cell divides its contents; and Cytokinesis, which completes cell division by splitting the cytoplasm. Finally, we describe the key steps of mitosis, including chromosome duplication, alignment, separation, and the formation of two genetically identical diploid daughter cells.
