Video doesn't do justice for the tool. This is really sharp and good value for money.

I bought one of these at the weekend and the pruning blade is excellent, effective and easy to use. But the saw? It is impossible to use as it’s just too bendy and lightweight. I was unable to cut anything even with the pole on the shortest setting. It was like a joke shop rubber saw!

Hence why when you see him saw this it A. he makes a cut at the top risking the branch falling and splitting the bark on the stem and damaging the tree. And B. It’s such a clean cut you know he used the pruner as they cut off filming of the saw. Really poor and clearly not up to the job.

A good tool...but how do you assemble it in the first place?

Bloody hell be honest it cut a twig not what I'd call a branch !

I have found this is a very useful and effective instrument although Spear and Jackson need to devise a method of ensuring that the cord does not get snagged on the ends of the bolts while the tool is high up within branches. It's annoying having to bring the tool down in order to pull the cord off the bolts. The easiest way that S & J could solve this problem would be by attaching firm round steel caps to the ends of the bolts so that the cord just slips away from them and does not snag on them.
Also, printed instructions and a diagram are needed with regard to attaching the pruning saw.

Why are you not showing us everything.... Show it cutting a branch not a twig! Show it fully extended!
