If that is hammered copper, why does it look silver gray?

It is Hammered Copper. This color has a lot of pewter color in the "veins", so that is the silver you see. We have another color (Moscow Mule) which is very similar, but has more copper and less pewter.

So you stated that they aren't oily or greasy in any way, at the e act time in the vid when your guy is handling them without gloves. Human touch always has oils in it without gloves.

Touching without gloves is the subject of much debate. It's true that human skin naturally has a very small amount of oil on it (that which produces a finger print), but not enough to adversely effect the coating. However, If you are in an environment where you cannot keep your hands clean from other greases or oils, then it would be wise to wear gloves.
Wearing nitrile or latex gloves create their own potential problems and it's important to weigh the benefits depending on applicator/application. This subject comes up often enough, it might warrant it's own video, so thanks for bringing this up.
