Best video about repotting so far. Simple, short and easy.
Well, my mother did the exact opposite thing. Today we had to repot a flower pot from a small pot to a big pot. And first she watered that part and within two minutes the plant came out with its roots intact. Then we planted it into another plant. So you don't have to avoid watering your plant for repotting.
If she had watered a sip maybe that would've happened but if you water thoroughly, the soil does disintegrate....
I do the same. I water my plants thoroughly before repotting. This way roots don't break and plant had a good drink before the repotting stress.
@@manjuk1708 This is the main reason i am here. Several other plant people on youtube say watering the plants protects the roots when repotting. Now i'm confused! ...i think i'm going to go with the watering idea, maybe an hour b4 repotting i'll water the roots thoroughly so the soil comes off it relatively easily.

But today I noticed something wrong : the roots of my plants are slowly rotting .. Oh my god ..u wont believe what i did..getting all the inspiration from u i just(2-3 months back) bought my money plant coleus..and few others..i also wanted a snake plant..so i took a leaf from my neighbour..cut it into 2..placed one in water and the other in soil..and now i can see tge roots coming out..so i got 2 snake plants for FREE..oh my god i m so excited..all thanks to u
