Need advise on how to remove soil fungus in potted balcony plants. Thanks
@@subhashishde3584 ua-cam.com/video/ytE0qMUjpaI/v-deo.html may be this will helpfull for u
Some of the things in the video can be improved.
1) after breaking the coriander seeds, soak it for 12 hrs or at least overnight, before sowing them in soil. Cilantro usually takes 4-5 days to germinate if soaked, if they're not soaked, they may take upto 2 weeks to germinate. NEVER grow herbs/greens with nightshades (in this case you grew them with eggplant). The soil will not be able to nourish the greens. Herbs can be grown with herbs. You can definitely grow cilantro with banana plant (an example)
2) garlic takes 7 months or more to set harvestable bulbs. Of course depends on the temperature in the locality too, but it's not something you want to invest time on. Garlic should definitely be grown as a 'soil pest' repellent.
3) radishes can be grown all round the year, carrots cannot, UNLESS you buy seeds from the garden store, etc to start out. Hence the reason why the carrot tops melted. To get a proper start, root carrot tops in water.
Do not grow carrots, potatoes if you have pets. Several dog breeds will get sick if they accidentally chew onto leaves of carrots or leaves of potatoes.
4) soak fenugreek seeds overnight too to give it a head start. Only spinach seeds need 24 hrs of soaking.
5) while rooting mint in water. Add a tsp of garden soil in the water glass. Change water every alternate day. It should be the same garden soil in which you'll plant the mint after it roots in water. And of course mint should have it's own planter and not grown with other plants.
In short Buy the first batch of seeds from the store and continue from the harvest from there on. Both the seeds as well as the fruit/vegetable.
Thanks a ton for ur inputs..😊
Thank you! Do you know whether you can use the dried coriander/fenugreek seeds that you use in cooking or do you have to buy seeds from a garden store?
@@user-pl4yq1oc1y You can use the ones available for cooking but check the date of manufacturing/packaging, the more recent, the better chances of germination. Coriander needs cooler temperatures to germinate, so you can grow them from kitchen seeds during Sept-Feb easily.
Well explained nyc bro

You inspired me for gardening since more then a year and now I have a verity of plants on my roof so thank you for all your efforts towards the society bless you ♥️
I've probably looked at thousands of videos on a similar grow stuff from home items topic. I have just fallen in love with this one because you are absolutely honest. Making a video and clearly explaining how to use the carrot and radish to grow more. The clarification that you are trying something yourself and not claiming too much is all just too good.
Keep doing the great job.
And like every other commenter I love how eloquent you are.

Your voice and smile is so mesmerizing. Anyone would love to see and listen to you for hours. Literally I do that.
I came across this channel while searching for something else, however I must say that you have an in depth knowledge about gardening and i am impressed with your passion for the same.
You pass on something more than just notes on gardening . It has something to do with your happy disposition. The way you explain makes the listener feel very soothed , and connect with the plant world in a delightful way.
I will surely plant garlic, coriander, methi, carrot and wheat grass at my home and thank you for giving the viewers so much advice. 🙂
Thank you so much for clarifying about the carrots and radish! I was so confused since most videos just tell you to plant them directly on soil and leave it at that. Now it makes so much sense. Thank you! ❤️
Ur correct ..I belong to agricultural family ..so I have some idea on mixed cropping give better yield...
Edit: thank you so much for ❤️ heart.. trust me .This is my first comment and I got a heart from you ekta..♥️
I love gardening too!! And some of the I've cook is from the garden in the backyard
I am so happy you didnt spread misinformation about "regrowing" the 2 roots. People take those videos seriously and ruin thier future hopes in the gardening world

Ur so cute.. I like the way you explain things, love it.. have just started planting in water n I came across your channel..good to have stuff
U have explained everything very beautifully.. thanks for sharing your thoughts on the same.. will try out some of them!!
That is quite an amazing video. I grow garlic every year, but I didn't know that could also grow it indoors and in the UK it should even work during the winter (providing I can take the smell 🙂 ). I also grow tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce all year round indoors. For the first two you have to take over the job of a bee using a soft paint brush, but it works and if you wear a bee custom and make the 'bzzzz' sound, they might give a better harvest. Not sure, perhaps somebody who reads this can try it out and let me know :-). I found cucumbers work best for me in the bathroom, probably because of the humidity showering and bathing create, as these are very thirsty plants. They need about 6 - 8 hours daylight. I cheat them using an LED lamp 🙂My next project will be trying to grow melons indoors. If I carry like that, I'll soon need a machete to get from room to room, but it's fun. So thank you for some new ideas.
I am subscribing just for your voice and the way you speak. Elegant and joyful. The content is just bonus.

Thanks for letting us know about how carrot and radish are actually grown. Yes, i experienced that mint die when they are replaced into the soil but didn't know why! Waiting for the next video to know more about growing mint!❤❤ loads of love!
Tejaswi Chalamcharla I don’t put them in water .. instead directly put them in a pot .. It is growing out of control now 😅
Water rooted plant cannot be transplanted directly in soil..this sudden change of medium is cause of that sudden death..😊
After transplantation try to make soil a little bit of soggy..then slowly reduce the water concentration. 😊 that may work..❤
Me too potted directly in soil, grew nice and wild for a long time!
@@Plantalogy thanks for this. Wil surely try that out.
@@sohani27 awww that sounds great! Mine didn't work that way either. Will give it a try again. The other plants are doing well except the mint.
