I will ABSOLUTELY LAUGH at any cybertruck that tries to offroad
😂😂😂
AWD is not 4x4.
But some people are just ignorant.
The only off road mine seen is a ski resort's parking lot.
Get a Rivian... at least the R1T and R1S can tackle the Rubicon Trail
Lots of funny comments for this video, and deservedly so. What’s the best name for this POS? CyberStuck, Third Grader’s Design, CryberTruck, CyberDoorstop, The Model Why?, CyberGrift, Bankrupticon, CyberSuck? Any others?
The Tesla driving over the winch cable showed he doesn't belong there
Kid in the back showed he didn't belong there. But Tesla said it's more capable than a Truck. Baja ready......
@@lrod8692 'Baja ready" meaning?
@@jjstro ask Elon
The wife didnt want to be there
Watching the wanktank being pulled up was hilarious!
..And then we got to see it again!!! Plus it scraped the undercarriage, what a great design for offroading..
Gotta wonder how the driver felt about his purchase during the ordeal
Yes, and we actually got to see it towed 3 times on a single hill. So lame.
You act as if this was marketed to be a Jeep... just about any oem truck would struggle with that same driver behind the wheel. Yall compared aftermarket dedicated off-road vehicles to an oem EV truck.. it's akin to me saying why are those jeeps so slow, what shitty vehicles...
@@db5859 I'm comparing an OEM EV which was advertised as off-road, to other OEM non-EV vehicles which are also advertised as off-road.
Maybe you were trying to reply to a different comment? Also maybe you are feeling bad because you lost money on your stock 🤣
I was expecting the front of phonytruck to come off when they attached the winch
Who put that tree there? Said the Cybertruck owner.
🤣🤣🤣
a new sucker is born every second
Tell your mom I said hi.
@@tripzero0 salty and weird is not a good combo for you son.
You're just mad that your truck is old, slow and has my name etched in the side by your mom.
That owner could have bought a 392 Rubicon for less money. You could have driven it multiple hours to the park, cleared these “obstacles” with such ease that no one would have filmed it, and then driven multiple hours home. Seems like a laundry list of things the CyberTruck really struggles with.
A regular bicycle would have done better 👍🏾
Same could be said for the yota bros who fail to buy the necessity like a front locker or regear and instead buy overland gear.
I just did that section in my 20 yr/old stock VW Touareg. I had cheap Falken AT Trail tires in the OE size of 255/55R18 (29"). It has factory air suspension and factory center and rear diff locks. Just crawled right up with 38 psi. I rubbed the side step twice. No biggie. This youtuber filmed it. Check out 7:45, 9:00, and 11:30. ua-cam.com/video/JOA6Kgkj5Xo/v-deo.htmlsi=iD07JHs8kT4KIevS
This guy looked at this car and thought "yep, I'm going off roading"
It's nice to see the cybertruck participate in these fun activities.
Naaaahhhh
Looks like if he was simply 10 feet to the left, he would’ve been fine.😂
So after being pulled up the slope did they just run back home crying or were they sent home because no one wanted to waste any more time pulling their giant battery up the hills?
The CyberTruck's main problem in this video is the driver.
Cybertruck just keeps collecting the fails.
Ya BC its the truck thats driving and not the owner thats like saying a Toyota tundra keeps collecting fails even its the driver
@@mcsike7264 Punctuation might make that comprehensible.
Cry harder@@mcsike7264
Guys, this is genius in action you just can't see it....... 😂😂😂😂😂
It takes a village to drive a Cybertruck.
True lol
it takes a village idiot to buy one.
FSD hasnt been enabled in the owners brain yet.
And the village idiot to buy one.
To each their own... looks like a great way to tear up your truck 😅
A $100,000 turd.
You're right. It got stuck. That makes it completely worthless for every conceivable use-case.
Ugly as can be plus lame performance. Also, to answer tripzero0: it got stuck 3 separate times on a single hill. After they towed it over the first hump, so the Tesla was well past the tree, they assumed it was in the clear ... then had to hook up the winch again and tow it over another hump. Then they again thought the Tesla should be fine, so they took off the winch, but it got stuck a 3rd time. Quite lame.
@justin9152 That’s an American engineered and manufactured vehicle creating jobs. It’s good in my book.
@@DailySource all those vehicles look ugly as. The driver should be embarrassed bringing a vehicle there without a locking differential and probably experience.
When it gets stuck at its full potential, after it gets the proper software, let me know. As-is, we cannot make definitive statements about its capabilities.
@@tripzero0 totally bro. Are you 6? I don’t think your parents should let you in YT this early.
Where is the part, where the tesla is immidiatly whiped clean and polished? That's mandatory according to the ClusterTruck manual!
Rivian would do great on all those areas.
Why dont people understand this vehicle is not an "offroad " vehicle. Its a street based vehicle. I would never own one but its not meant for this extreme of a trail.
Because of Elon's media monsters false claims that it can go anywhere. I like Elon he really has done some amazing things but he's a pathological liar 😮 it looks like it's a one wheel drive, impossible to drive ridiculousness and needs a complete software overhaul. Perfect example of programmers believing it'll be easy. 😂
I agree with you 100%.
People don't understand that it is not an "off road" vehicle because it has selectable off road driving modes, an adjustable air suspension that raises the vehicle for over 17 inches of ground clearance, "wade mode" that pneumatically pressurizes the battery to allow it to drive through deep water, so-called "bullet proof" body panels and glass, a factory lightbar option, and "built for any planet" marketing on their website that shows pictures of a cybertruck kicking up dust as it tears across the craggy dunes of mars.
Elon Musk is little more than a snake oil salesman who severely overpromises and underdelivers on every single thing he is involved in. The remaining people who somehow still fail to realize this are currently trying to go offroad in their Cybertrucks.
Tell that to the Tesla boys who want to prove a point.
It absolutely is meant for this kind of trail. But you need to know WTF you're doing, and this driver clearly does not. Did he even air down the tires (does he even know what that is?). This was also pre-recent software update which enabled the diff lockers and a whole ton of other offroading updates.
I'm willing to bet the main problem at that tree part was the laggy steer-by-wire response, as the dude from Interesting Engineering showed us. The dude trying to move move the wheel as if it was instantaneous, the other guy helping him told him to stop but the steer-by-wire keeps steering since it's still catching up with the movement seconds ago.
Steer-by-wire which such lag seems dangerous IMO (and even worse if there's any chance of going bad while driving).
Good points. Musk claims things like steer by wire are genius, but in the real world it’s dangerous. Musk doesn’t think things through, and nobody around him will tell him No.
If the steer by wire is that slow then it sounds like something is wrong. SBW is able to outperform a human in steering response and speed (Toyota bz4x springs to mind, can easily outturn a car with a normal steering rack)
I have no lagging response. We can't know his settings during this ride, but I'm willing to bet he may not have had the differentials locked and the appropriate off-road configuration in place. They will learn though. Hopefully, they weren't chased away. We all were new once. In nearly all cases, it's a skills issue, not a vehicle. The CT is more than capable to handle Hidden Falls.
@@waywardveteran it's your word against the other reviewers out there - and CT owners are probably the most biased of the Tesla buyers
@@cleberz8072 I'm adding a data point and perspective. I have nothing to gain. Are you okay?
It’s not the truck, it’s the driver!
The trucks essentially one wheel drive at this point. Software needs a complete overhaul. No driver could do much better at this point as the truck mostly refuses to move.
This looks like more of an inexperienced driver than a vehicle issue.
Looks like both but from this video we only know one is shit for sure
Agreed
The kid trying to move the tree. 😂
I will give it to the cyberfeinds that was pure driver stupidity. You have yards of room on the passenger side but for some reason decided to drive straight at a tree.
Video does not do it justice but to the right of him is a very steep drop off.
I guess I would just wait until the locking differentials work before going off road like that.
The Tesla is standard. Needs to be lifted and bigger wheels. While the other truck is highly modified
Cybertruck versus cedar tree. I'll put my money on the cedar everything.
Love the idiots trying to push the tree the truck couldn't move. Then I hear one moron say, "I got a chainsaw". Yes, thats real offroading, just cut the trees down when you take the wrong line and your truck can't back down or manuever worth a sh!t.
The cybertrucks all wheel independent suspension is great onroad. Serious offroading is best suited for solid axle setups.
It's not good comparison. The independent electric motors can replicate locking and also apply precise torque distribution. The driver of that CT just needs more experience. We all started out new; give him time and support him in learning. EV off roading isn't going away.
Lol that spotter is terrible
I do not know how bad the cybertruck is but I always wonder when I see the drivers of such expensive toys - how did they become rich if they are so dumb?
Daddy's money.
The tech bubble.
Dont blame the truck for that mess. Looks like the driver has never been off the road before.
Right. He knew the software update for the locking differentials had not been released yet…
Remember when Elon wheeled out that massive prototype with massive wheels and tugged around a poor f150? Funny those massive wheels are gone and regular looking tires are on this monstrosity. I'll admit I think it looks pretty cool from the front but the side profile looks ridiculous This doesn't look like the future of automobiles to me, at least I sure hope not 🤬
Get that musk grift - mobile out of there. What a bad joke.
That’s a great name: the Musk Grift-mobile. Or how about the CyberGrift?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Tesla be like AliExpress
people have no idea what they are doing, manual says that "you have to remove both bumpers when you going offroading"!
😂🤣😂
That's driver is trash not the truck
Driver was not so experienced
What a crappy "truck" 🤮🤮🤮 this crybertruck is a joke 😂

Excellent name: the crybertruck. Nice
He needs a tire change
🤡
I mean how about those lame ass tires he has though.
Hardware update too.

WHAT THE FUCK was the Tesla driver doing??
Why was he even near the tree?
Nice line.
There was a really big drop off to his right but the video does not do this justice at all.
@@Castro1265 looks like you should’ve been about 25 feet to his right.

To be fair, Cybertruck not even equipped with bigger off road tires like the rest of them
Lonnggg wheel bases. Even the first Toyota family hauling heavy in the rear wannabe was ridiculous.
They're going so slowly up such tiny bumps. A mountain biker would laugh at them easily climbing and then rapidly descending that boring looking path without any motor needed
Lol yeah these things suck
This is what some people call "adventure". 🤣
My wife's boyfriend just bought me a Tesla Truck
You mean your wife's brother?
You poor sod...
@@tripzero0Probably same person.
Like a beached whale!!
It seems like the people who buy these trucks are not as smart as the people that make them. Why would anyone in the off road community thing it's a good idea to take this truck off road.
It is really heavey for one, and it suspension don't flex it don't have true 4x4 no LSD that I'm aware of.
It's a rigid low clearance vehicle. It's kind dumb to think it would off road well.
I think anybody driving a cybertruck off-road in stock condition is making a mistake. The video shows all ther other trucks with lift kits and the tires have reduced pressure in them. it is like taking any stock truck and driving in more extreme off road conditions - won't work.
@castro1265 one of you guys should borrow a cybertruck and give it a real go at this
Look, it's the cybercrap!
This is funny.
The punishment the cyber truck computer systems are taking while enduring this must be so painful.
Just listening to the sounds/damage that the cyber truck itself is clearly taking is also painful. There’s no way external components in there aren’t fracturing.
Poor tree LoL
That's quite a collection of inept drivers
This CT is not a tri motor :( need to upgrade to the BEAST
Would have been worse it was a Tri-Motor..... that would not have helped
@@lrod8692 exactly... vehicles with a single motor make it through there. Adding more motors doesnt solve the problem. In fact a single motor has the advantage of being able to gear is down. A Jeep with 4lo most likely has a lot more torque than the electric motors. My 4runner tops out at a few MPH in 4lo.
The worst driver and spotter in the world.
33 min video and only 7 min on the Cybertruck and can't even show it trying to climb the hill before hitting the tree
Stop crying
🤣😂😆
Why is he trying to climb a tree?
I guess the driver was stupid enough to believe Elon Musk's bullshit. Drive it into the surf and see if it works as a boat, just like Elon said.
Probably didn’t let air out of his tires.
He did air down
@@Castro1265 Yes it’s pretty clear that he let the air out of the tires. The Tesla fan boys love making excuses for Musk. They always try to blame everything on the drivers and never on Musk’s bad designs.
Didn't you see the tires mold themselves around the bumps?
software update much needed, probably model y off roading is better as of now
This is on the driver, and the guide. What was he doing driving straight into that tree? How did the guy not see that? Ridiculous.
I didn’t realize you were a expert in wheeling lol That was the path of least resistance. To the right of him is a big drop off but the video does not do it justice. I thought you would know that considering you seem to be an expert in the comments.
To be honest you would all screwed if aucuttly went off roding, all those trucks struggled and wasn't even differ cult terrain
It’s definitely pretty difficult to terrain the trails in this video were all level 4s & 5s. Video never does the terrain justice.
So glad I cancelled my Cybertruck order lol.
That is too much for that car honestly. The driver is also inexperienced.
More like a human problem than the vehicle
Cybertruck owners trying to prove something lol....... with a kid in the back? Smh....
Unless you are going all in on off roading just stay on the pavement....

It's like that piece of shit doesn't even have basic traction control. Jeez.

They are in the “hill country” too. lol

Yeah but unfortunately he would have high centered. It’s a very long wheelbase and crazy heavy.

The man in orange is quite annoying, constantly giving instructions to everyone, refusing others to intervene, and finally driving the truck to the tree.
Mike is hands-down the most experienced person there. He has wheeled Hidden Falls more times than I could count. It was a driver error…
And now there is a stop sale on the Cybertruck because accelerator pedals alre falling off.
The spotter directed him into the tree why would you blame the Cybertruck
Not true. Lol
Toyota driver can pay to mod, but can’t drive at all.
The Cybertruck can barely survive on a paved road. Cant survive a carwash or bird poop.
Why would you think it could go off-roading? 😂
This video is so boring, it's like everyone is in slow motion both physically and mentally. It's the long skinny one on the right you push on it to go.
I didn’t realize you were a expert in wheeling lol relax keyboard warrior go watch another video.
What an expensive POS that cyber truck is
Rigs with open differentials arent worthy of being filmed off roading.
This is F ing bs, this is NOT off roading, this is rock climbing, huge difference, you would need monster wheels 1000 hp to do that, put your new cyberattack in that environment is insane, this guy just destroyed this cybertruck, resale value is now $0!
