Nothing wrong with taking a stock Jeep out on the trails, they are pretty capable out of the box. Looks like a great area to explore, thanks for taking us along!
JK southwest thanks for watching man! And gonna try to get some more exciting angles next time. And it is a fun place. They’ve got Super easy stuff or trails to where you definitely need to be heavily modified👍🏻
Stock Rubicons can handle some seriously rough stuff! We have a 13’ Jeep Rubicon Unlimited 10th Anniversary Edition, and have taken it on every trail near Breckenridge Colorado! Handled everything that we threw at it with ease! Has 110,000 miles on it and has yet to have anything break! Only on its second set of BFG KO2 Mud Terrains, and 3rd set of brakes (I use it as a backup vehicle to tow a 16ft utility trailer on occasion). Great vehicle! I love the metal bumpers, saves you from stupid people! Been rear-ended once, and backed into the front of by a F350 with a hitch on the back. Didn’t damage anything in either incident.
Deereman yeah man they are pretty capable, it’s more of the driver is confident enough to do some of it haha Sounds like you’ve gotten good use out of yours! Thanks for watching!
@@deereman8237 i got a 10th anniversary same year. Idk how i found this comment lol. Anyway do u still have it n like it? Mine is a 2 door. Black leather seats, my god i wish i got the red seats, never realizedhow amazing theyd look with the top off. n have a soft top. Wish i had the 3 piece hard top. N its in the anvil color. it has about 14k mikes I got 4:10 gears in mine.
Thanks for watching dude! I should be(key word is should) placing my order for my bronco fairly soon. It’ll be cool to see the differences between the 2 for sure!
For sure dude. Hidden falls has all kinds of trails. Plenty of them your Tacoma can tackle with ease. They give you a map and the trails are rated by stars. You should be good for 1-3 star trails. Maybe a 4 star depending on your tire placement and comfort level. Thanks for watching!
bone stock Rubicon comes with standard what size tire? I know there's a selection of all season and all terrain.. is there mud tires to choose as well?
John 928 from the factory IF you get the rubicon model, you’ll get 33inch BFG KO2’s standard and optional 33inch falcon MT’s. If you get anything other than the rubicon, you’ll get 30-31inch all seasons or mild AT’s as an option. Thanks for watching!
David Fuentes taking air out of the tires give you a better ride as well as allow the tires to compress and form over the obstacles (rocks, trees etc) to get traction and have a wider footprint
Tyler Fluharty for the trails that I’ve been on 2nd-4th are pretty much what I use. I use first only if I think the obstacle is going to be pretty difficult. 2nds usually my go to
Just an FYI the part that your girlfriend drove around the 12:50 mark is the other falls, it’s just not as wet as it gets, also if you want a challenge to see the full capabilities of the Wrangler take it on the bronco buster trail! Most of our Jeep group lives out there, but we are only 45 min away in Austin. Good video too!
Is it really? Haha I didn’t know that. And I did go on part of bronco buster, I think. And it’s definitely more convenient for you guys haha I’ve got a 3 1/2 hour drive both ways. Thanks for watching man!
How is the manual in the JL? I had a JK and it was terrible. Especially offroad. Were you having to clutch in alot or were just in 4lo and it kept you crawling along?
Daniel Membrillo the manual in the JL is much better as far as overall shifting and driving is concerned compared to the JK. And I’ll I do is leave it in 4LO and that’s basically it. Only use the clutch really if I have a “oh shit” moment haha thanks for watching 👍🏻
Patrick Amos there are time when I question if I should’ve got the 4 door but every time I go off-road I never question it haha. And the only thing about the automatic that’s probably better in my eyes is slightly better MPG. Thanks for watching!
Liberty Stuff'n'Things Reviews thanks for watching! And I’m still pretty new to off-roading in a Jeep. My off-road background is dirt bikes where revving higher does benefit you haha but thanks for the tip
You've got a great channel building up here. Have you considering equalizing your audio so that the volume doesn't need to be adjusted based on where the camera moves around to? Also a lavalier microphone would help cut out a lot of wind noise in the cabin, just make sure to get a wind cover for it. Love your videos, keep them coming!
More Nark Thanks for the comment! Really appreciate it! And I haven considered it only because I’m not quite sure how haha I tried messing around with the audio on my editing software a bit on this one though. the mic is a good idea. Gonna slowly but surely get better equipment as time goes on though👍🏻 thanks for watching man!
I am watching this on January 12, 2020. From now on, let the girl do the camera work. All of the camera work. She is better, way better with the camera, than you are.
Jacob R there are definitely certain parts of hidden falls you can do in a Z71 Tahoe. But then there are some spots where it shouldn’t haha but there’s defiantly plenty of stuff out there if you want to take it 👍🏻

Great video. I was there few months with ‘19 JLU sport. It was a blast. I’m completely stock except for the 33” rubicon tires.
07:48 how many truck guys would have lost their rear bumper. Go jeep!! I am so impressed with this Rubicon I'm sold!!
Steve Kioussis haha for real! My 2 most recent off-road videos do a better job of showing how capable it is completely stock 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Great video I love this place! Also, good choice on the 6-Speed don't see it enough
Destin Boubel thanks man! Yeah the manual was a must
I'm really looking into a two door rubicon. Might wait to see what the bronco will be like 👍. Cool videos!
Thanks for watching dude! I should be(key word is should) placing my order for my bronco fairly soon.
It’ll be cool to see the differences between the 2 for sure!
Really cool video
You look like one of my youth pastors. Awsome videos with lots of information about the Jeep!
Love your videos, keep them coming.
John Mckenna Appreciate it man!! 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
I just did the same thing with a stock JL Rubicon! Lots of fun, I didn't stay long though because I'm a lot closer.
Joseph Montgomery it’s a fun out there! It’s just a all day thing for me. Thanks for watching man!
You just convinced me. This is my next Jeep trip outside of Houston.
Kareem Key it’s a really cool place man!
Thanks for watching!
The red building (jonesjeeps) sells an airdown gauge
reminds me of Crystal Falls Ranch north of Lake Travis. Had lots of fun out there.
I just found your videos. I really like them keep it up. Looks fun !
Thomas B thanks man! Really appreciate it! And don’t worry I’ve got more stuff planned, just need the time off from work haha thanks for watching
Awesome jeep bro
Great video man
Thanks dude!
What were you using to tell you the degrees of inclination you were driving into?
The Jeep has a off-road pages that tells you a bunch of different telemetry. You can have it on the main screen or the one in the cluster
Is it pretty easy to navigate? I’ve got a leveled Tacoma on 33s and wanna take it on a simple ride nothing too crazy lol
For sure dude. Hidden falls has all kinds of trails. Plenty of them your Tacoma can tackle with ease. They give you a map and the trails are rated by stars. You should be good for 1-3 star trails. Maybe a 4 star depending on your tire placement and comfort level.

@@drivenmad2089 thanks for the reply !! This place is not too far from me
How do you think a Xterra pro 4x would fair out there? Bought one from my folks would love to take it light trailing.
CABdosdos there’s definitely trails you can do out there! They give you a map that lets you know what difficulty each trail is.
Thanks for watching!
When are you going back?

What’s the reason of taking air out the tires?
David Fuentes taking air out of the tires give you a better ride as well as allow the tires to compress and form over the obstacles (rocks, trees etc) to get traction and have a wider footprint
Driven Mad! Thank you!
David Fuentes sure thing man!
Thanks for watching!
Manual right? You mentioned keeping it first around 7:30 mark. Do you find you're in 1st most of the time in 4L? Or are you in 2nd a good bit?
Tyler Fluharty for the trails that I’ve been on 2nd-4th are pretty much what I use. I use first only if I think the obstacle is going to be pretty difficult. 2nds usually my go to
S. Houston here. You’ve made me want to try this with my stock 2015 JKU/S.
Your tires aren’t stock are they? What are you running?
Vic Gregg you should man it’s a really awesome place! And yep my Jeep is bone stock
Thanks for watching!
Cool idea using the head strap for the go pro. 🇨🇦
Peter Langford thanks man. I thought it’d add a cool view

Jason Whited for sure man! I pretty much only go on sundays thanks to work haha usually get there around 10:30ish

can you drive down the road with the very back window open the one by tire , like at 60 mph?
kelsie j sure, if you want to
Driven Mad! Awesome because I think my dog would love that , ur videos are truly helping me decide on getting a jeep thank you !
kelsie j cool man! Glad I could help a little bit! You’ll love it 👍🏻
I heard it sucks exhaust if all the other windows are closed.
Nice!
So do you wish you got a 4 door?
Do you wish you got an automatic?
I’m stuck on both at the moment.
Patrick Amos there are time when I question if I should’ve got the 4 door but every time I go off-road I never question it haha. And the only thing about the automatic that’s probably better in my eyes is slightly better MPG.

Driven Mad! Nice okay cool!! Thank you so much !
I just did that with my JT rubicon bone stock took it down baby back
Good video. You do not gain anything by revving the engine that much when in 4LO.
Liberty Stuff'n'Things Reviews thanks for watching! And I’m still pretty new to off-roading in a Jeep. My off-road background is dirt bikes where revving higher does benefit you haha but thanks for the tip
For sure an annoyance on video

Thats why I love Jeeps. 4lo, 1st gear. Let out the clutch and just let her crawl.
Isaac it’s awesome! In my newest video I was trying to show that to my parents haha thanks for watching!
When you going again?
Alberto Correa i dont know man. Works got me tied up. Hopefully soon haven’t been in over a month haha
@@drivenmad2089 sweet I'm just looking for excuses to go at this point haha
Alberto Correa same here dude haha probably gonna wait til I have the skid plate for the new bumper then I’ll make an excuse to “test it”
From houston?? If so let's meet up go to hiddenfalls love that place

I couldn't watch it due to the photography.
Would you ever consider making an only fans?
What's your Gf look like dang lol
