    Thank you for your professional advice. I purchased the Zodiac MX6 (without the leaf bag, I have a screened-in pool). This does the JOB. It cleans the bottom and climbs the walls. I use it once a week as I only get a little debris in my pool. Thanks again!

      I'm glad to hear that you are satisfied with its performance but why do you only use it once a week

    Sir. Thank you for your pool videos and insight on pool maintenance. I have implemented 99% of them. Two questions for you if you have some time. I noticed in most of the pools they have the floating chlorine dispenser. Are they in the pools to help reduce the growth of algae? I placed one in my spa and one in water bowl and they seem to help. 2nd Question is there a safe way to remove what looks looks like black algae spots (size of quarter) from various places in pool?

      Maria thank you so much for watching, and I am honored to serve you! Yes, I have the chlorine floaters in the pool to keep the chlorine level up, which helps sanitize the pool and prevent the growth of algae.
      If you have black algae in your pool there is a high likelihood there is nothing that can be done short of replastering the pool. However, I have used the Pool RX All Black amzn.to/3Lu7yIU to good effect in some of my problem pool like Lin-Duck Field. Good Luck and please keep watching!

    Hi I watched 2 of your videos on pool vacuums, the tesla and the MX6. After all the rain, my pool has way too much sand and dirt that's now growing algae, should I use the MX6 for this problem? Granted, I understand I need to do more like brush and vacuum as well. Though most videos I watched seem to recommend brushing all the algae and dirt to the deep end and then vacuuming that on wastewater setting. But my pool doesn't have a wastewater setting on the valve and not sure where the water would exit from.

      There are so many things going on I don't know where to start. I appreciate you watching. That being said, you have quite a bit going on and advice is not what you need, you need action. You need to care more about your pool. It has been my experience that people who really care about their pool have a pool pro working for them, or they took the time to educate themselves. I can see you are trying to learn, but if your pool is already green, step aside and let a pro work for you. You need to call a Pool professional and hopefully you find an honest, reliable pool pro. When you find them try to learn from what they do to your pool. The TELSA 90 is a portable vacuum that you attach to a pole, and The MX6 is a pool cleaner. These are two completely different things. You have a lot to learn. Start by making sure your backyard does not slide into the pool! Keep watching good luck

      @@angrypoolman Thank you so much for the response, I had a new pool person that replaced the previous one b/c the previous one never let us know about extra charges beforehand even though asked multiple times, then realized after thoroughly looking at accounting that we were charged for chlorine 4x a year amongst other things. The replacement pool cleaner started in Jan but let the pool go green, he came up with excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't clean up the debris and finally just had to let him go, simply I think he wasn't the most knowledgeable. Went to Leslie's pool supply yesterday and they said that it seems like the filter isn't working properly, which the pool man did clean 2 weeks ago. But that if the filter isn't sucking up the debris, then he should have investigated what about the filter is causing the issue. Searching for an honest pool man seems to be an issue at the moment so taking matters into own hands.
      It's a battle

    Hey boss cool pool man 😎. I have questions Is POOLRX good does it save on chlorine during summer season AND does it add or increase COPPER in the pool water ??

    • @angrypoolman
      @angrypoolman  Рік тому +1

      The Pool RX saves me money on chemicals in all of my pools. It does contain Copper, so make sure you purchase the correct variety for your pool size indicated by the colors (Blue, Black, etc.) Make sure you are extra carefully using them on white plaster pools, they can cause staining. Check them out, I have them in all of my pools!

    I have a polaris maxx and I am curious as to why you didn't you use the flow regulator it came with?

    • @angrypoolman
      @angrypoolman  Рік тому

      Flow regulator? I don't even know what that is. I control the flow at the equipment! I use as few parts as possible to get the job done, the less I have to dick around with the better. Every pool I have that has an MX6 is perfect...I never have to spend my valuable time screwing around with it to make it work properly; that is why I recommend it - so homeowners can just buy and use it to good effect. Sorry, I am not a fan of anything made by Polaris. Thank you for watching, It is never my intention to insult anyone; I only give my suggestions and recommendations based on my experience. Please keep watching. What part of the country do you live in?

    One more question. What do you charge for monthly service in your county. I’m in TX. Just curious

    • @angrypoolman
      @angrypoolman  Рік тому +1

      That is a tough question to answer because my company is very small - I provide a premium boutique style of service where all my clients can reach me 24 hours a day. I live very close to all my clients so I have the least amount of driving - so I can serve them the best way I can. That being said, I am a crappy businessman. I give away far too much for free, but that is why my customers are clients who I treat like family. To answer your question, my pools range from $100 to $240 a month for 4 visits. I charge $75 for a filter teardown. Many guys charge double that. I perform 4 filter teardowns a year for most of my pools. My clients do not pay me to have algae in their pool. Are you a homeowner or pool professional?
