What’s new in version 3.0?
Multi-Riff/Polyphonic Mode: 4 totally independent piano rolls. (you can also copy one riff to another with drag-n-drop)
Density Mode: splits a note into 2 - 8 hits/parts (same function we have on Playbeat app achieving the ratchet effect)
Performance Mode: trigger & transpose the sequence by pressing a key on a midi keyboard , or MIDI input, in real time. (DAW needs to be on ‘Play’ Mode and with MIDI you can control the Playback)
Preset sharing: sharing presets between devices (desktop to iOS etc)

Hi, Can I only generate these notes, or can I also manually change them and insert my own notes?
Can it pitch bend?
Looks good but I wonder how much more it does than my piano roll in FL Studio
Riffer is a great midi tool I own it but if you want an option that does more then your piano roll look up Unisons Midi Wizard no longer available for purchase as it was a timed exclusive but it was ground breaking.
is this available in standalone mode ?
Some clue- ANY clue- as to how to send midi to hardware would be useful...
That depends on your DAW... In Ableton, create a midi track going to your hardware synth. Then set the input of this track to the output of Riffer. In Cubase, it basically works the same way. I'm on PC, but if Riffer is also available as a MIDI AU plugin, it should be as easy as inserting it as Midi plugin, and set the output of that track to your hardware synth. Is that clue enough? :)
@@delphi069 Ah dang- should perhaps have said that I’m trying to control hard synths from riffer for iOS in AUM. Usually midi is assigned by means of the midi matrix, but there’s only one instance of riffer 3.0 in the matrix, and that does not control a hard synth.
I’ve now got AudioModern on the case...

ADSR this is a terrible video! What the hell happened?! It would've been nice to actually hear some audio from the plugin, you know, an actual demo, and not just a generic backing track the whole time.
