I saw a band called The Rockets cover this song when they were backing up Bob Seger on The Against The Wind tour in 1980. They did an awesome job of it.
One winter evening, driving home from work, I heard Kenny Wayne Shepherd play this live on BBC radio. I literally had to pull over and wait until he had finished before I could focus on my driving again. And now I can play it too! 😊
Wow. Thanks. I've been playing something "close*" to this for a while. I'm sure it's not the first time you heard it said, "it's hard to unlearn the wrong way" but you set me straight. Much gratitude, dude.
WOAH! I got this one down Marty, thank you so much! Everything is jelling for me. And.... congrats on your upcoming big TV debut! I'm so happy for you!
I have seen Fleetwood Mac perform this live twice. Rick Vito played lead, the standout for me was the Mighty John Mcvie on the bass. I'm going to have a go at this, you can't not.
Marty, thank you so much for teaching me how to play Fleetwood Mac oh well I enjoyed your session. I was thinking if you could put a video on how to play the song Parado No Bailo. Me and my son always wanted to learn it. I hope you read my comment, I look forward to play Parado No Bailo
Absolutely love Fleetwood Mac. Thanks for another classic guitar lesson Marty! Just some song requests from me to add to your list - Could you please do video lessons + tutorials on “Walking in Memphis” by Marc Cohn, and “Me And My Girlfriend” by 2Pac, “Smooth” by Santana, “Changes” by 2Pac, and “Picture Me Rollin’” by 2Pac? Thanks brother. Appreciate the hard work and the content, and keep up the great efforts brother!!❤
I'm a huge fan Marty, but I regret to inform you that the opening riff has a B flat in it. Bernie Marsden tells a great story about when he played that riff to Peter Green telling him how much he liked the tune, and Peter said, that's great but I didn't write that!
Peter wrote and composed the chords where your sources are? If you go by the older peter green his memory was shot. He didn't even remember greeny when he held it. I think you have that wrong. I'll check my uncles collections and has the book with notes and chords. Pretty sure he came up with that riff. The second part was Danny kirwan
@@NovaPrime5012no, he doesn’t mean Peter Green didn’t write it, Peter Green was saying that what Bernie Marsden was playing wasn’t the intro to Oh Well.
@@PaulJonesy thank you sir! Peter most definitely wrote that but there is a B flat in it! I've seen Slash play it wrong and even Kirk Hammett played iy incorrectly on Peters Les Paul. At the end of the day it doesn't matter that much I was just saying.
Hey Marty, could you also please do some video lessons + tutorials on “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias, “Escape” by Enrique Iglesias, and “Maria Maria” by Santana? Thanks brother, and keep up the excellent work and efforts man!❤
Hey, I was wondering if you could do a tutorial of how to play Cattleman's Gun by Dean Brody at all? There's nothing on youtube for it and the tutorials online seem to differ and just don't sound quite right to me.

When Fleetwood Mac was an amazing blues band with three great guitarists, THE legendary Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan (The last two didn't make it in the RRHOF, which is a travesty )
Hey Marty I've got a question if you have a second. What do you think about putting your real name on your UA-cam channel? I've kinda went back and forth with it. Not that I'm ashamed or embarrassed of my art and music but some people are a#@h##@s ya know. What do you think?
I absolutely love the range in which Fleetwood Mac writes their guitar parts. From smooth to raw and gritty. Certainly one of the greatest. Cheers
No problem!
This was an early song written by Peter Green. Essentially a different band to the later Rumours era.
I saw a band called The Rockets cover this song when they were backing up Bob Seger on The Against The Wind tour in 1980. They did an awesome job of it.
Early Mac also wrote

Black Majic Woman
