    George Foreman Grill has become an Iconic American Brand found in the majority of home kitchens. George himself has been a great spokesperson for it with his cheerful good natured persona. He just comes across as trustworthy. I don't think a Mohamed Ali Grill would have been as convincing. lol

    This video was wonderful. A lot of GF videos just have people throwing the protein on the grill and calling it a day, but I liked that you really walked us through the process from the features of your particular grill, to prep, to cooking, to clean up. Well done.

You would think I would lose some weight but I've never been this big and I hate it. I just don't feel like cooking. The problem is I have a problem sitting as well as standing. Since I fell again it's really messed me up. Thank you again Sherry for everything you put on line. I enjoy these so much! You always make me smile.

    After scraping, one can also put in dishwasher. Be sure to put the oil catcher under the front to catch grease drippings. Let grill cool completely before moving it. I flip whatever I’m cooking after cooked half way for a more even searing. Meat continues to cook after removing, so allow for that. Makes great grilled cheese sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches in just a few minutes.

      the top section on a foreman is 15% cooler than the bottom section to avoid you burning your hand instantaneously when picking up the lid, required by law on all household cooking appliances. so always goods to turn it over. i worked in the household cooking appliance bizz for 18 years !

    It’s really weird seeing what’s considered a good grill in US. The removable plates are easily cleaned but the heat transfer is worse, since there’s air between the heat source and the plates.
    Using metal fork or other cutlery on non-stick plates is very unhealthy since what you eventually scrape off the plates you end up eating.
    The hinge on the grill looks very basic since it can’t adapt to different thickness of meat being grilled.
    I got the Breville The Smart Grill Pro (Sage BGR840 called here), non-stick plates are removable but have the heat source built-in, top plate adjusts to the thickness of meat and with temperature probe I know exactly when the meat is done.

    • @LetsBeCivilShallWe
      @LetsBeCivilShallWe 6 років тому +2

      Frank Sheh - I live in an apartment too and have had several George Foreman grills. They’ve all smoked, more if you’re cooking something that chars (most proteins) but they’ve smoked worse as I’ve used them and the paint has begun to break down with use, any grease or particles that get in the hinge area (can’t wash that area as well because of the cord), and the consistent high heat and washing, which breaks down the nonstick finish.
      What has helped me is putting the entire grill on the stovetop with the exhaust vent running and opening a window. That said, I’m searching for my 4th grill now because the grill is smoking too much.

      @@browngirlwhiteboy4043Actually she is correct. The difference between a pork chop and a cutlet is simply a matter of preparation. A pork chop is a slice of the pork loin, which can be done at different thicknesses and with OR without bones.
