This sounds like something that's close to accurate
Probably not a player/descendant of players, since his attempts to get more strong children have failed. He's probably very old, maybe as old as the old dragons in the world, and having lived so long he may have gained a great deal of levels and, possibly, a lot of powerful artifacts. We've seen no evidence that he can use magic, tier-style or otherwise, possibly hinting that he predates the Dragon Emperor's ritual spell. Of course, if he could use tier magic, that wouldn't necessarily make it impossible that he was very old, since the Coffin Dragon Lord learned tier magic in order to counter players. If the elf king is old, and since he apparently kidnapped a godkin and raped her, we can assume that he's pretty good at dealing with players and player-related threats, since he would have to have survived hundreds of years worth of player incursions. That having been said, he likely doesn't know everything about players since he doesn't seem to understand the reason why the godkin woman he kidnapped bore him a strong child. He's likely ignorant of the true nature of players but good at fighting them nonetheless.
And he's an elf, so we know he's going to be a total dick, possibly a very clever scheming 'I ruined your life on a whim' kind of dick.
@Christopher Very unlikely, as stated above, one of the very few things we know about the elf king for certain is that he cannot conceive godkins, except for Zesshi, who inherited her player genes from her mother, not her father. The elf king has sired thousands of children trying to get more like Zesshi, all in vain, because he doesn't have any player blood.

@@migarsormrapophis2755 Idk that doesn't exactly exclude the possibility. I remember reading that GodKins were VERY rare to the point that all known God Kins are within the black scripture of the Slane Theocracy, and breeding them for other god kins is extremely difficult because they almost never appear. I believe only the Theocracy and a handful of other have even mentioned what God Kin are, making their existence even more rare as not many people even know of their existence.

Remember that in Yggdrasil, your level wasn't really what determined your strength. It was more about your gear and knowledge of the game that decided who had the advantage in combat. So for Zeshi's brother to be more powerful than an NPC who was specifically designed to guard the tomb against players, and was given mid level gear for that purpose is saying quite a lot.

A theory I'm very curious about is what if rather than an NPC or Player, what if he was a high level Mercenary or Summon of a previous player group? We have seen with the Death Knights that persistent summons can be made. It fits his arrogance and lack of care for his people, since despite being the "Elf King" he seems to have active contempt for them, but still puts himself into that role. We haven't actually seen what happens to the summons of a defeated player, but assuming they're permanent in the new world, it could be a very "ronin" outlook where their "one true lord is dead, so now I choose only to live for myself". Some supporting evidence. He knew a godkin would give him a higher chance of beating the level cap, and while we know a Player will produce a godkin and it's suspected an NPC would do something similar as well thanks to Tuare/Sebas speculation we haven't heard of or seen any Summons or Mercenary children even speculation. He still assumes the mantle of Elf King, despite seemingly hating it and clearly being fine on his own in the new world, almost as if its just a role he was just "preprogrammed" to assume and he doesn't really care about it other than to make sure he has it. We know that Cocytus was able to learn Tactics, but the Death Knight could NOT learn martial arts while Hamsuke could, and Hamsuke is suspected to be a Ygdrissil pet. This may be the difference between Players/NPC/Pets with their "fluid" backstories in the game, and Mercenary/Summons with their "rigid" programmed in ones. This rigidity would also explain why seemingly only the MOTHERS level cap matters, not his, since as a mercenary/summon he cannot really learn, pass on, or change. He may have gotten "freedom" with the death of his player, but he is still a "static" entity. Finally Elf King seems a fitting title for a summon from an Elf player, since we know there are high level demon summons like the Evil Lords for Demiurge, angels for the Slaine Theocracy and more importantly other players, and Death Emperor etc for Ainz himself.
That is the best theory about him that i read so far. Trully amazing!!!!!

Id say around level 50-60, with maybe a full set of legacy gear, and one or two peices of devine gear, putting his overall strength comparable to lvl 70.
You have to remember, high level characters werent rare, high level gear was

So far Ainz has been winning with almost no opposition. So this new book is making me a little scared for Aura and Mare. Not that i think they'll die, just that they will probably be in danger. But then I remember Ainz shows no mercy to those who harm the NPCs and I shudder with excitement to read what horrible fate awaits the Elf King for his sin.

@@Alex-hg7ng ainz fights the elf king in volume 16 and yes the elf king strong and has alot of hp to the point that even ainz was surprised but he was only about level 75 so ainz stomped the shit out of him and b4 ainz could kill him he runs away, but ains sends mare after him where he's killed by the girl from the black scripture zeriusu "I think her name is" and her and mare fight and she even realizes that she's no match for anyone from nazarek let alone mare. The fight still is happening as there hasnt been a full translation of volume 16 yet just bits and pieces

I estimate the elf king is lv 69, just specialized in mind magic and has Yggdrasil items that boost that. Granted I only came to the conclusion of 69 because it's funny. But other than that, mind manipulation is entirely possible, allowing for him to walk into the Slane Theocracy with the guards temporarily under his control and using a powerful item to control a godkin for a time and detain them using another item later. Any reinforcements (other godkin) that come could be held off by the controlled one, being an ally and the strongest of them. So an easy entry, capture, and escape. It would also explain why he refuses to go into combat himself, since he would be both physically and magically weak defensively and offensively compared to a lower level godkin or even a large army. He could probably be a big help in battle, but scared of a godkin hitting him with a stray arrow lol. In addition, it would mean his offspring would be low level and show no talent, then sent to the frontlines, consequently being unable to develop any inherited mind magic affinity by studying etc.
I just read a LN and i read about a Character that can create Magic Weapons from his Mana Pool, depending of the amount of mana he uses he can do better weapons. Wouldnt be that a GREAT talent in new world? Imagine a 70 lvl character with a Mana Build and warrior Skills. That can be Zesshi's Talent

We need to remember that not lvls makes strong but certain OP skills/perks, lvl is just measure how much skills/perks you can get. 30 lvls with entire stealth and thief branch and you can steal organs from enemies pocket or make them pregnant and then steal child 😂👌.
In newerwinter (which mechanics iggdrasyl got inspiration from) you can make build that kill one certain op player and lose to everyone else.

He might have a World Class items but not be actually high in level himself. Could be a nice twist.
Likely a player. He’s just been in the new world so long that he’s totally insane. He doesn’t see anyone as real. He is obsessed with personal power and has the ability to take on truly powerful beings inside of a whole nation. He’s Ainz looking in a possible mirror of himself if things go differently. He probably has a world class item of his own or he’d have been mind controlled by downfall of castle and country during his abduction of the god kin. Chances are this is Ainz first fight against another player and the only question is has the elf king killed a dark elf twin to tip it off?
He’ll prolly try to abduct Mare after witnessing her power ( who’s actually a boy) and now Ainz has a good enough reason to kill the elf king..forcing Zesshi to confront Ainz probably...

Doubt he's a player. He had to drug the godkin mother of Zesshi to subdue her, which implies he is either around her level or lower.
@@zaephou2843 He could still be a player albeit not an overpowered one like Ainz. Would make sense really because he keeps complaining about how weak everyone is, which you would also see that way when you're used to Yggdrasil Standards.
How I see it playing out is like this. The elf king will meet the twins and want to breed/ use them for himself. This will absolutely make Ainz lose his mind and then burn the king to the ground.
Everyone in the great tomb of nazerick overestimate people of the new world. They base their levels on people from the game. Like Entoma thought the twins was of a higher level because of their job class being ninja and she remembered that you had to be of a high level to be one, if not for that entoma would had finished them early. We can’t really say how strong the new worlders are because they are only being based on new world standards. Even the guy shalletear judge as as strong as solution she treated him as as the rabble she just slaughtered earlier and did not take him seriously he even thought they would all be slaughtered and ordered a retreat and lied to the woman guarding the vault because he couldn’t believe it was true that there was a vampire that strong. Until we see someone on the level of the 12th seat fight seriously with someone from the tomb then their level are unknown. I believe that the elf king will see aura and mare and try to take them and then get embarrassed with Ainz saving the elves and coming into direct conflict with the theoracacy

we know the elf king drugged Zesshi's mother and caught the slane theocracy off guard. and we also know the current BS captain (the one shalltear faught) is stronger then Zesshi's mom, so Elf king is either high 40s (48+) (highly unlikely) to mid 50s (55 or less) lvl wise. also the elf king was not able to prevent the recapturing of Zesshi's mother.
I wonder how the other elves of the Kingdom would react if Ains saves them from both the king and the theocracy? I imagine that he’ll notice their world class items and destroy the theocracy once he confirms they have mind control.
Aura and Mare might become rulers, and of course everyone will credit Ains’ foresight about their heterochromic eyes giving them legitimacy.
Maybe the player that he abducted was not a 100 lvl?

It states that the Elf King tricked the theocracy to lure the god-kin over to another land as an ambassador proceeded to drug her, then beat her in combat (with help) and then abducted her, he then had her chained in his personal dungeon and forced himself upon her. it was many weeks before the theocracy was able to come to her rescue because the Elf king had left trails leading all over the place.. Zesshi starts a war with the Elves to avenge her mother.. anyone who mentions her Elven heritage by pointing out her ears which she hates.. was beaten nearly to death by her.. she lived with her mother for a time.. she REALLY REALLY wants to kill the Elf King..and she is stronger than he is by far..so I honestly hope we'll see her kick his elven arse.

Well, we don't necessarily know the strength and level difference between zesshi and her mother. Her mother might have been the strongest by only a bit, and she could very well dwarf her own mothers strength by now. Besides, with all the "I win" items laying around that just bypass a fight entirely by either straight up ultra mind controling you, killing you in 1 shot past any resistance, and then some it wouldn't be out of the question for him to simply possess a WCI, or potentially be a player who's lost his shit from getting repeatedly subarued losing strength and sanity each time he comes back to life.

well, apparently he's powerfull enough to kidnapp a Godkin, but i dont remember anything specifying how old or how many levels this godkin was... i mean she could probs be around lvl 50, which for that time was their strongest? And with time passing by they become stronger ? Any point, i think i read somewhere that he was strong enough to deal with 1 single scripture by himself (can't remember either if it was the clearwater scripture or the one specialised in defense which im not sure about the name...) . For sure though he wouldn't be able to handle the black scripture. so i would say... he's perharps around level 70 to 80 ? Dunno... all we can do is wait for bone daddy to go grasp his heart a little and see if it tickles :D
I would give him level 40-50, he had to trick the godkin to beat her, so it fits he is weaker then her. Also if he was that strong I doubt PDL would let him live. Not to mention the fact that he wants strong children to take over the world if he was level 70-80 he wouldnt need strong children he could do it himself.

I think the elf king can be stop by the soccer king. But he will need to plan and make sure his out smartest him. Or he will have a few of his friends show up, but I don't think they are going to do that yet

At one point I thought he was a Godkin, but have since changed my mind. Currently, I think he is either an NPC with an asshole character backstory, or he is like Fluder, one of the rare exceptions among Heroes.
Considering that he's confident he can defeat the entire Holocaust Scripture, no problem, I have to estimate that the Elf King is at least over level 55.
The missing ingredient for the most part in the new world is age. With age comes time, with time comes power. Humans have something like 10-20 years of prime health and physique, and a total life span of around 70-100. If your prime age was either unlimited, or greatly extended, the amount of strength you can aquire in a world not bound by silly things like muscle mass, and biology as we know it, is exponential. If Gazef, climb, brain, ect were to have hundreds of years to slave for their efforts in prime health, their strength might be somewhat on par with godkins providing there isn't a Hard cap, and the relatively low human levels are simply softcaps that need an exorbitant amount of time and effort to breach.

@@jordanbauerly8843 Not for Climb. He's in the category of being untalented. He's at the absolute limit of where he can get with effort. It's not a matter of how hard or how long he trains.
That's why humans in the New World are not necessarily the same kind of humans in our world. Their potential is inherently limited by their talent.

Someone like Lakyus, one the other hand also grew fast, but has still not hit her limit because she is one of the talented among humans.
@@SnowyWolborg If we follow the rpg rules, the higher the cap level, the faster the character will rise. Arche was probably a tier 4 (maybe) while Lakyus was at least 5 and we don't know when he reached tier 5. Arche probably climbed faster but this does indeed set limits. An interesting thing would have been to see if Arche (if she had lived), by changing race and training, could have risen over time, or worked together with Fluder to find a way to break the cap levels. Patience.

No lol no one from AoG is in the NW, only Ainz. Bukubuku was a slime, not an elf, so it can't be her. And one of the main stipulations of joining AoG was being a non humanoid class/race, you needed to be a heteromorph like Ainz.

No, the Elf King, Decem, is NOT as strong as Ainz. In fact, he wasn't even able to detect invisible Ainz. Ainz got pissed because Decem wanted to rape Aura AND Mare, so Ainz slammed him to the ground. HOWEVER- Ainz was surprised that Decem tanked his slam.
So in short, outside Nazarick, Decem is probably the strongest, if not the strongest in the New World.
Anyway, he still lost against Ainz and became a crybaby when Ainz started giving chase.
And another one, Zesshi/Antilene is level 88. She can obliterate the entire Pleiades alone(with the exception of Aureole and Sebas) and she managed to deal damage to Mare.
I'm also from the future zesshi gets stomped by mare she even used her 1hit kill move Trump card "the goal of all life is death" a spell ainz used in season 1 on shaltear and mare tanked it like nothing so yeah being level 88 you can still do damage to a level 100 but not much comparatively especially to kill a level 100. She's even decided to run away from mare but I haven't been able to find volume 16 completely translated so I don't know how the fight ends yet

Also Zesshi TANKED a buffed spell from Mare, so I think she's as strong if not stronger than the Elf King.

I doubt he’s anything beyond lv 70. He Ainz treated him more like a puppy he didn’t want to scare. He had a humiliating defeat. 50 skeleton walls and land mine later and he was one hit
I'd like to see irons find out that full and true history of what he did to the daughter of a player character. I'm pretty sure it would not be a pleasant experience....... also oh, I'd kind of like to see him have his ass handed to him by the dark elf twins. To buy Elf standards children stronger than he is using him as a volleyball or something.

I just got an idea...what if The Elf King is in fact lvl 100...but not native to New World, not a player...but NPC that went rogue? That would explain incredible power lvl and not being able to "mass produce" godkins, despite many, many years of trying. What do you guys think abaut it?
I also think it's possible he's an NPC who has a character backstory that was written for him to be a sociopathic jackass. But I definitely don't think he's level 100.
Possible but unlikely. The power differential between level 100 and lets say 70 is still absolute. If the theocracy could infinitely clone zesshi at full power, no matter how many of them they cloned and sent in at one given moment, Ains/any guardian could still blend them. Shit in most mmos the difference between 99 and 100 would be insurmountable. The elf king does not appear to be strong enough to turn the theocracy into the crater it will soon come to be.
The elf king could also be an npc from yggdrasil like albedo or cocytus etc

The Six Great Gods are all dead. Rufus is more than likely an NPC created or summoned by Susharna.
@@SnowyWolborg He could also be an extra, one of their low leveled friends or simply someone who happened to find a world item, but was low leveled and therefor just a footnote in history as he wasn't strong enough to participate. He is the "First" follower. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me for him to simply be a merc summon, or SS himself after reviving as a lower level.
I mean, the scene where ains is straight up surrounded by a group of players hellbent on removing his unlife from existance for the sole fact he's playing an undead might have more significance than you might think. I imagine the GK might have offed him in much the same manor for much the same reasons.

Elf king is probably worthless in character value, holding a proxy or something worth stripping off his corpse. Depravity being spawned from power granted to him by something strong enough to force a goddling and their subordinates to submit. He’ll probably get one shot, and revived just to be one hit again. Rinse and repeat until Ainz is satisfied, and has a new undead subordinate.
IDk how strong he thinks he is, but shalltear needs a new pet to cheer her up. She 'd been moping since her resurrection, with one bright happy moment when ainz used her as a seat. Maybe a new pet will cheer her up. I know she doesn't do males, but its an elf and a king. The chance to break someone that strong .. how can she resist?
I think this might be a way for Ainz to gain the loyalty/interest of Zesshi, as she absolutely HATES the elves, especially the king. She literally was the reason that the Theocracy is waging war against the elves, to placate her so that she doesn't go do it herself, sparking war with the Plat Dragon lord.
I think Zesshi hearing news of Ainz killing the Elf king (who will try to capture Aura/Mare to rape them to have powerful kids) will spark an interest in her meeting Ainz, and seeing his power, will be under his thrall against the Slaine Theocracy especially after learning about what happened to Shalltear, she will most likely say to Ainz that the Black Scripture were the ones who attacked Shalltear after witnessing his power. Somthing similar to what happened with Renner and the Kingdom.

His level is not known and he as of yet has only fought in his armor, which is more or less as srong as pandoras actor transformed into ainz, but with inferior gear.
So it's safe to assume he could be level 100 since dragons grow stronger with age

did PDL say anything about the Elf King's strength? doesnt PDL want to get rid of all playerr related things that can rival PDL's strength? like PDL says he can sense the evil from shalltear, and this elv king sounds like a POS so wouldnt PDL go after him before going after Ainz? or maybe the elf king really is too strong for PDL do he went after Ainz, or maybe this elf king has been around for a long time and got strong like the tree from the Tob Forest

No yet as of now but she does fight mare, and pretty much loses but the fight hasent been fully translated and published yet "to my knowledge" so we don't know how it ends yet but more then likely she either joins nazarek or dies tbh as she can't even come close to mares strength

My guess is she was abducted in a suprise attack. Its fairly difficult to defend your pieces when you don't even know the games started. It could also be as simple as a betrayal, inviting her to the elven capitol for some reason or another then straight up using some magical item bullshit to have some less than consensual siring.
There are more ways than one to abduct someone. I wouldn't need to go fist to cuffs against someone stronger than me, just invite them inside, and offer some refreshing and Rohypnol enhanced beverages.

He is only level 70
The only way that he's Lv80-90 and not 100 after all the time he's been alive is if he's a god-kin. Either that or new world elves have a higher natural lv cap
He's probably level 70 to maybe 80, that may be enough to put up a decent fight against Aura and her beasts, or against Mare but knowing Ainz, he might prefer to fight the elf king by himself to prevent unknown factors, or decide to use the elf king as a training doll for the dark elf twins and their pets till he dies 😂😂😂😂.
I'll just point out that the Primal Fire Elemental from the Staff on Ains Ool Gown is roughly level 80 and Aura and Mare called the fight a workout.

Maybe the reason the Elf King finds it difficult to sire strong offspring is because he's a low level? Imagine the lowest level character imaginable kitted out with the strongest weapons, armors, runes and charms.

That would be absouloutly insane...waaaait a second isn't guild weapon of 8GK missing in the main story? You just got me a second idea...what if he was weak, but strong for a New Wolder (around lvl 25), and during the chaos of a 8GK civil war he somehow sneaked into the guild base, and stole full set of God tier items, together with guild weapon, and to top it all of, a World Class Item...or even multiple WCIs?

@@xsardes336 doesn't matter if it's civil war or sex war no way in hell am I gonna belive a lvl 25 character stole a guild weapon or WCI only lvl 30? 5lvl difference is very much at the starting it's pretty much impossible for a lvl 25 character to defeat lvl 30 character

I'd laugh if the Elf King tried to steal DoC&C to use on Zesshi because that immediately gets the slane theocracy off the hook because they can point at the Elf King and say he was the one who manipulated Shalltear and Ainz would likely murder his ass on the spot without question to simply not give the Elf King the chance to use it on his subordinates.
Speaking off. I'm surprised the Elf King didnt try using DoC&C to try and have his way with one of Nazzaricks NPCs like Albedo, she is literally designed to be stronger than most high lvl players save the top PVP experts. Even PDL mistakes her to be the player because her strength is insane.
If mind controling his subordinates made Ainz upset before, actually trying r**** one would send his rage into the stratosphere.

It dsnt ainz already whooped him in volume 16 he's level 75 and has a giant health pool that ainz even pointed out but he's not a fighter he's a summoner with a golem earth elemental that is supposedly one of the most powerful elementals around level 80-85 as ainz even points out that he can tell the earth elemental was a higher level then the king and wondered how he could control it, he can with his special skill but ainz didn't know that and was worried he had a Trump card cause of it. He didn't lol
Also the only reason he can't kidnap his daughter back from the theocracy is cause the theocracy has many heroes including 2 decendents from yigdrissil kids who are both powerful and dsnt want to get ganged up on. He's the only real powerhouse in the elven kingdom tbh
