This video is sheer genius Pan. I hate how so many detailers on UA-cam speed the video up 1000x vs carefully editing. NYC represent. I'm in the same boat as you lol. That winter storm last week has been killer on my daily. Wish I had a proper garage like this or at least some better weather soon enough. Stay strong, spring is around the corner.
I'm in nearby CT and hate the weather we have been having! It was fine in November/December when I could pressure wash the cars first, bring them into the garage and do a rinseless wash. I'm afraid to turn the garage into an ice skating rink doing that now. January was absolutely brutal! Insane cold temps!
@@PanTheOrganizer Back in May I bought a pressure washer (gas) for my house and truck. I like keeping my truck looking good and in good shape, but I was very surprised at the huge amount of options and choices in cleaning product, much less the steps and order of using them. I jumped on UA-cam for some ideas, and it didn’t take long to find your channel. Absolutely the best, and I learn more every time I watch another video.
On a very rainy Saturday morning here on the Rock, I get to have my morning coffee while enjoying this video. Awesome video Pan. All the steps. Your work was spectacular but as a side note, maybe it was because of some of the camera angles, I wasn’t overly impressed with the finish on the Polestar. Maybe it was just me. Washing a car in your garage must be so nice. Great lighting, no worry about sun or wind, take your time with it knowing the product is going to dry on the car immediately.
I found Pan's comment about the paint damage interesting. For those ordering a new car, do what I did. Specify in your purchase contract "NO WASH" and emphasis to the dealer that you want to take delivery of your car without any cleaning or wiping. When I took delivery of my new 2021 Porsche I brought along my paint inspection light and was happy to see that my paint was swirl and scratch free. I had the salesman examine some other "new" cars on the showroom floor and he was astounded to see how his wash crew had already damaged the new paint. DON'T LET ANYONE WASH YOUR NEW CAR.
Just came back from my shift being nurse and after a stormy day wAtching you without any talking makes me relaxes my mind and soothes my inner feeling before going to bed. We people love cars have always same passion.. can’t wAit to do my detailing by myself when spring comes..just had our first SUV mdx2022 Aspec by ceramic pro and full front suntek film and seeing that outcome so good and sleek ,shiny make me wanted to do it myself my other two vehicles😂. Wish spring comes I had all the gear and magerils I needed to detail the cars🎉

It depends on your experience level and conditions you work in. For beginners working in 2x2 sections is a better choice and when you get used to ot you can move to larger sections. ;)

I've detailed many a black car in My 51 years! A fellow told Me back in the 80's "Black isn't a color, black is a career" SO TRUE! Excellent job, Pan! I haven't washed a car since December. It's been brutally cold here.

Black, by far, is the most challenging color to detail, every mistake will be noticeable, I learned the hard way long time ago with an BMW X6M (all black), then I decided to switch to white which is my favorite color so far. I'm in Georgia and too cold for me, but I have the Volvo hybrid version of this car. S60 T8 Polestar, and it's the most fun car! It will be 60F here today so heading out of work early and going to pull the baby out, grab the 3 buckets, the foam cannon and get to work! Can't wait. Great video!

I knew it! I knew for ceramic coating you didn’t necessarily need to do just a 2x2 square. I knew you could do a whole panel at a time!
It depends on your experience level and conditions you work in. For beginners working in 2x2 sections is a better choice and when you get used to ot you can move to larger sections. ;)
