You always show the prettiest stitches and are such a great teacher. I have a thought: could you use this stitch as an increase? I’m thinking knit wise because that’s usually the case. But I’m wondering if it would leave a weird bump-like a knit front and back.
Thank you again for such a wonderful video. You explain very well. If you were to put a border at both sides of the work how many stitches would you add on each side? Thank you
Thank you! Well, it depends on how wide the piece is, and how tiny the stitches are. Anyway, I wouldn’t add less than 4 to 6 on each side. The best thing to do before starting, is to knit a swatch to be sure that it doesn’t curl 😉
Very pretty stitch🧶you mentioned using a border on all three sides to prevent curling...are those including in your written pattern on your website? I hope so because I have never blocked a scarf😂Thank you so much for your beautiful videos that encourages beginner knitters to move on from the knit stitch👍🥰
i always wanted to do knittting at home in the living room.
I love when you have new videos! thank you again for all you share with us!

Could this be modified to work in the round?
I believe so, but I haven’t tried it yet 😉

Thank you Yvonne! You’re very kind!! No, they aren’t. Try adding 4-6 stitches on each side, and knit a Garter stitch edge 🥰
@@sowoolly okay so cast on 4 more stitches on each side for the border in addition to what's needed for the pattern so it won't curl correct?
Ummm also when I knit the 1st row...add 4 so I have even border on all sides...I think that's correct👍🧶
Add 4 to 6 st on each side
@@sowoolly thank you...have yarn...must knit😂🧶
