Yes, yes, yes, please continue. I absolutely love it for being made the way you did. I think you could be a huge inspiration for others and that's good stuff. I hope to see more. Thank you, and I think HR Giger would appreciate this.
I'm a motion picture effects coordinator...if you did this alone on a laptop, you're quite good! i would be looking into a refined script to produce and get busy on a totally serious movie project. yes, of course this has some issues, but I've seen directors waste a million bucks on far far worse looking projects with all the right stuff at their disposal. You have some talent, go make movies!
I can't believe it's taken me this long to reply to such an awesome comment. This surely aint the first time I'm reading it . . . . a YEAR after you posted it! Yes, I made this alone on a laptop with no money. And I agree that this has lead to some short-falls in the quality and competence in some areas; but I honestly did the very best that I could. All the hard-work, mistakes, disappointments, stress, compromises etc. have been worth it though. Some of the comments and supports, and just general good-heartedness that I've encountered simply by posting the animation (as opposed to just saving to disc and putting in a drawer, which is what I normally do with my work) has surprised and uplifted me in ways I didn't expect. Gary Roberts, your comment is a perfect example of this, which is why I'm a little embarrassed that I seem to have ignored or not seen it. I don't know if you're ever gonna read this reply, but if you do, know that I sincerely thank you and, despite that lateness of my reply, I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to comment.
I think anyone who's a fan of the franchise will like what you've done here. I've read the comments; character development, dialog, etc. But I think you mention that in this instance you wanted to focus on the animation and atmosphere. That was certainly evident and included some nice touches, claustrophobic and panicked dimly-lit installation; excellent creature depiction and dynamics. I think you did a good job. Wish I had your self-discipline to do my writing !
Thanks. I honestly appreciated this comment. And I'm glad you got something out of the short film. Yeah, this project was more a technical exercise than a storytelling one, but even so, I acknowledge all the flaws and ways I could have done this better. Which I realise is cool I guess because this is all part of 'the learning curve'. The next one will be better, and the one after the better still (at least this is what I keep telling myself!). As for your problem: lack of discipline? Write a little bit at a time; try not to think about tackling the whole thing, just focus on the immediate paragragh, or next couple of lines of dialogue (this is easier said than done, i know). That's my two-penneth.
There were times when making this animation kinda kicked my ass. I made it on my laptop in my spare time from stuff I found for free on the internet. It's taken me about 8 months, on and off, to do. This is my only real forum for showing my work, so it'd be really cool if you wanted to leave me some feedback - whether it is positive or negative is okay so long as it is honest. Thank you.
+SoftCelAnimation Go to UA-cam channel rroobboo 999. That channel is fantastic for animators (i got the facehugger and egg from there). Also, scifi3d.com is a great resource for Alien models and other models from sci-fi franchises.
+SoftCelAnimation I gave your Ripley animation a 'like'. That strobe lighting is really effective and reminded of exactly the kind of thing you find in an actual Alien film. I think, now, that I shoulda had a strobe lit scene in my short film too. Ha ha, too late. Damn.
+Darkus Marque Don't sell yourself short M8 you did a fine job I would even go as far as saying you have blown any Sy-Fy original movie out of the water and you did it in your spare time. Please keep up the good work Maybe you can go on go fund me or pateron [sic] and maybe make a lil' $$ on the side ( who knows maybe a lot of $$ ) Any hoo thanks for the video I thought it was pretty good.
+BigBadBampa This is some high praise, and it is much appreciated. Despite the elements of the short film I didn't quite nail, comments like this show me that there are plenty of elements I did well enough that I can build on and take forward into my next short film, and hopefullly make it better. Thanks for taking the time to watch, and for making the effort to comment.
Holy Smack Darkus, I stumbled across this piece while looking at other videos. It is amazing. What EternalRoman commented, is absolutely true. You have captured the tense, on the edge moments that the franchise has lost. Brilliant work.
+Dean Paul I'm really pleased you enjoyed it so much. You even read some of the comments too - cool. You made me go and re-read EternalRoman's comment, and both of your comments are high praise indeed. Oh, and thanks for introducing me to the term "Holy Smack". I've never heard that term. Is it a thing now? Did you just make it up? Do you live in the 1960's Batman TV show? I think I would still 'like'/thumbs up your comment if you'd have written just "Holy Smack" and nothing else! Thank you.
+Craig Wesner (Gnashspike Rhaylphist) hahah, very witty comment, actually made me laugh. But wow, if ever a comment was gonna make me big-headed it's your one - you threw out a couple of very serious compliments there. Thank you very much. I'm sincerely glad you enjoyed the film. "Part 2" is a way off I'm afraid - I've got a few other animated short films I'm making first. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
Absolutely brilliant. Just incredibly well done from start to finish. Love it if you would do more although I understand how time-consuming it must be. For us alien fans, that was a great fix! Thank you
Thank you very much. I'm really glad it connected with you. Part 2 is available to watch, and I've already started work on part 3 (although, part 3 is still a long way off being completed!).
Darkus Marque thank you but I cannot for the life of me track down part two. I have run searches and everything I can think of and it still just eludes me. I’m going to keep trying because your work is fantastic and I’m a fan. Keep it up for all those fans of aliens! Thank you again for sharing your hard work.
Darkus Marque OK you’re correct. I definitely have watched all your alien stuff, it’s fantastic. I Just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed anything you had made! I’m hooked! I have to hand it to you you are fantastic at what you do. Many thanks again. Keep it up and please remember we appreciate it!
this is 2017,I just happened to be looking for something interesting to watch and found this piece of greatness.WOW,this is so good, there are no words.Thank you for your superb work.
"That's you, that is." That reminds me of a sketch from an old TV show called the Mary Whitehouse Experience. Also, seeing Hunk giggle and try and hide it was priceless.
Ha ha, yes! I know that show. I wasn't consciously using the line from that show, but I think sub-consciously I was. It never occured to me that someone would make that particular reference-link. But now someone has. I find this strangely satisfying.
Setting aside some issues with the voice acting and animations that are no doubt due to the unavoidable technical limitations of such a small-scale solo project, this was really well done. In fact, in many respects it was more evocative of the Alien franchise and feel than Prometheus, and in large part, more enjoyable. Well done! Keep doing what you're doing, I look forward to seeing what your future work looks like.
Mate fantastic work. For a hobby project I thought this was very well done. Just learn from each piece of work you do and you can only go from strength to strength. Can't wait to see how you progress.
+dusty0608 Cheers. I appreciate and agree with the learning from each piece of work. And I've already learned so much from both the successful aspects, and the flaws/failings of this project.
At 9:41 I noticed a remix of Alien Isolation game music with the working joe. The baby Alien with a long tail in tank was creepy. Nice to see various life stages. Lots of action. Your 8 months of work paid off. 😊
+3dmonkeybizz Thank you for commenting. Glad you liked the camera work - I try really hard to make the camera move in a way that feels "natural" and isn't jarring (I don't always succeed, but I'm getting better).
Thank you. Yeah, with these 'Alien' films, the hope is that I progress and develop my skills. So I'm glad that you felt there was an improvement with the second one.
Don't be discouraged by haters...small-minded folks who have so little going in their lives that they'd actually spend the time to try to tear down your work. Anyone who actually takes the time to leave a negative, non-constructive message like a couple of folks have done here...well...you can probably imagine what they do with their time...nothing! Keep doing your thing. Look forward to seeing more work from you. Nice job!
+George Stephenson Of all the comments that have been left here, you're the first person to bring this subject up. And I really do appreciate the supportive tone of it. Thank you for this comment. In fairness, I did ask people to feel free to comment however they like so long as it was honest, so if they hated it then I can't complain if they write that. HOWEVER, I agree with you about some comments going beyond this and seeming to revel in "tearing down" for the fun/sake/spite of it. The first couple of times it happened you do feel a bit bad, but the constructive comments (even the ones that found the work very flawed) soon out-weighed the destructive comments. People have been far more understanding of my efforts and failings than I ever imagined (and YOUR comment is great evidence of this), so all the destructive comments I get now I can easily put in perspective. Cheers.
+Axgoodofdunemaul Yknow, it's amazing how a comment, written by a complete stranger who i'll probably never meet, has the power to make me feel good. I'm really glad you enjoyed the film (even with some of its elements that, on reflection, need WAY more work . . . . and a bit more skill, haha). I appreciate you posting such a positive comment.
The amount of detail you put in her in so short amount of time is amazing. For what its worth, incredibly impressed. If you want help with a more original story line in the Alien Universe let me know. I write for a living. Great work. Isn't video copilot awesome. I've had some great laughs with Andrew.
+tjkoker For someone to take the time to offer up this kind of positivity and encouragement is worth a lot to me. Thank you. As for Video CoPilot, that site has helped me immensely. I've never communicated with Andrew Kramer, but I owe him a huge debt of thanks.
Whatever its origin, the "15 minutes later" worked for me - as a dark humor. Can imagine our heroes having waited ever less patiently. A joke on us audients also - denying us the expected formula at that point.
LOL! 15 minutes later... Really nicely done! Fantastic job on both the special effects and the dialogue. Looking forward to watching the second and third parts.
Well done, very good effort I enjoyed the set up and felt like Aliens/Predator in the banter - I hope you do a bonus episode wher we see how the missing 15 minutes went... Perhaps you cut to this to show a reveal later on in the movie - it could show some mischief, bad decision making or plain old cowardice that gets them split up? Cant wait to see the next one.
Quake 2 Graphics with an Alien Twist! Nice touch- Keep up the Fine work, and in 6 Months time....Who Knows!? Good Job Mixing the characters and voices and the Alien effect is still scary!! =D
There are parts 2 and 3 on UA-cam, if you wanna see how the story ends. I think my skills improve over the course of the trilogy. Regardless, thank you for your comment.
Very nicely made for doing it only in your spare time with random stuff! The audio and voices seems a bit odd and not always fitting, but other than that, great work!
well personally i think you did a great job on this, (i enjoyed it to a point where when it said 15 mins later i was quite pissed off that id missed part of something i was enjoying, lol) great work keep it up mate !!!
+GWENTman64 Haha, yeh some people like the "15 minutes later..." shortcut, some don't. But I'm glad you enjoyed the film overall nevertheless. Thank you for the comment: I appreciate the encouragement.
Thank you. The continuation is on its way. I started it in February and . . . well, I don't know if you've ever had your ass kicked, but that's what part 2 is doing to me right now. I thought I'd have it ready by September. Nope. Gotta few more months to go, I reckon. Pray for me! Nah, in all seriousness, comments like yours (and others) give me a little boost of energy for the project when I'm deflated and fatigued. Thanks again.
I can only imagine how hard this is. Just by what I have seen, ALOT of hard work, hours and love went into this. Keep it up man I am eager for the continuation. Haha on a sidenote I am dreading the near future when I have to look into CGI/Animation for my crossover fan film I am trying to get into the Comic Con...It involves "The Thing." :)
A "The Thing" crossover fan-film? Okay, you successfully piqued my interest. What's it crossed-over with? If the film is live-action with CGI elements then I wouldn't dread it. However, the reason that "The Thing" is so good is not about the special effects really, it was the general film-making technique. Do you really need CGI, or just want it? Nevertheless, I hope you post the finished film on UA-cam at some point, so everyone can watch it. I, for one, would really be interested.
Sorry haven't logged into youtube in awhile... I have to keep the script sort of hush-hush until I get the "blessing" from the 2(3 actually) studios..Technically I don't need the blessing as long as I don't make money off of it, but I would still like the support. I will definitely keep you in the loop..i just haven't built up a social media presence and need to learn a bit more. I do handle Fate magazine's Facebook site, so that has helped as I am posting articles for them The CGI is more for background effects/title,etc..I am trying to duplicate what Carpenter did with his movie of sorts(puppets/animatronics/lighting/etc)...I want to create the psychological aspect..sadly i won't be able to come close..but i will create alot of anxiety and some "woh" moments from the cross-over aspect. I wish i could tell you the whole plot but until i get a handle on it..i can't say much more..I can say this though...there will be a facehugger(a 3rd aspect of the crossover) and other "species" of extraterrestrial DNA/samples on hand...It perfectly syncs with a series of movies and shows that have come out in the last 10 years so i am pretty darn excited. If you want..feel free to drop me an email and i will chat a bit more in a closed setting. Just put The Thing fan-film in the subject line since this email is very particular and filters everything :) jamieleeanderson@hushmail.com Talk to you later
Your enthusiasm and positivity for your project really comes through, and that is gonna come in really handy during the times when the project hits a rough patch (I'm not being negative - NO project is ever smooth sailing!). I honestly hope your plans come to fruition. It's kinda exciting to hear from someone in a similar position to myself speak with such energy about their film-making, or prospective film-making. Your wish to use puppets and animatronics sounds great. From one aspiring film-maker to another: I'm rooting for you, Jamie!
+sf2372 Thanks, I really appreciate the positivity. At the moment my work is quite flawed as I'm still learning, and posting on UA-cam to get feedback is part of that learning. Unfortunately, I doubt my work is at a stage yet where many people would feel comfortable giving me resources to develop it to a more flawless production level. But, I'm really glad you, and people like you, are connecting with the potential and feel strongly enough about it to take the time to offer your encouragement. Thanks again.
Well Autum is around the corner. Got my pocorn ready and my soda. Wanna be the first one at the premiere, so keep me posted. I think the time you spent on this short video was worth it. Txs.
+CGSeever Thank you, and yeah, I agree with you, some of the people and their comments here are great. You hear so much about spamming and trolling it can be off-putting, but the supportive people/comments you encounter are worth it.
I'm gonna' go out on a limb here but,..............I think you're ready to pitch this to the majors. Dammit, I'm ready for the full feature. Very, very nice work. PS. Nice touch using Jack and Miranda!!
+Derrick Johnson Cheers. It's amazing how divisive this short film is: some people (like you) are really into it; and then other people think it's hot garbage. I think the majors would prefer, and perhaps rightly so, to invest in a concept/film that is universally enjoyed rather than one that splits opinion this much. It's a nice dream though, and you really made my day saying such a thing. Thanks.
+Weyland-Yutani Corporation I can't believe Weyland-Yutani have actually left me a comment! Obviously, I'm not stupid, I know that you're not, like, the CEO or anything actually typing those words in the comment . . . . . . . but probably someone from the PR dept. On a similar note, I'm not gonna get a comment from the Legal Dept. am I? I apologise for not asking permission to use your corporate logo in my film, but I honestly didn't think you'd take my email seriously and just ignore it or delete it. I'm just a fan. I'll happily volunteer to work at one of your facilities to recompense your company for any copyright infringements. . . . and future infringements, as I'm planning on using the Weyland name again in parts 2 and 3. I'm using it out of love & respect *imagine a juvenile and disingenuous heart/love type emoji inserted right here* See, I don't care what Ellen Ripley says about you, I think your Synthetics are great. (I'm not gonna lie though: your humans, on the other hand, COULD use a tiny bit of work. Just saying). But, seriously, thanks for the positive comment. It's encouraging to receive. And, not so seriously, this is a dream come true. Keep BUILDING BETTER WORLDS . . . . . for all our tomorrows!
+weelyn91 Thanks. Glad you liked it. Yeah it was a lot of work, but that's mainly because I'm learning as I go - I'm in the process of self-teaching myself animation.
Thank you. I made it as a self-teaching exercise . . . . . . mostly . . . . . and I REALLY have learned a lot from it. Even the whole process of posting it and the subsequent comments and interaction has been very educational. I appreciate you leaving me a positive comment.
+VFX Todd Yeah, when you first commented, the stuff you said about potential problems with the Fox part snapped me out of a bit of naivete. The disclaimer was the only thing I could think to do to rectify the issue. Hopefully they're not gonna hand my ass to me! And I'm glad you enjoyed the film still after watching it again.
Darkus Marque You should be ok. I would be surprised if they did anything now. If anything, they should see it as free advertising for them. But, our society is such a sue-happy place it wouldn't have surprised me if they did make a move. I hope to see more animated films by you. Cheers.
This is prime shyt!!!! Wat an excellent idea crossing avp and Res E. that was pure genius I think you could thrive with legit animation companies like dreamsworks or WB
+Zackthetimelord Productions Much appreciated. I'm genuinely glad you liked it. The 20th Century Fox ident was an after-thought, to be honest, and more tricky to do than I thought it would be. It's not perfect, but it turned out to be one of my favourite parts of the project - and doing it gave me a new-found respect for that music too.
+YoshiTwi BonnieHD It was mostly done in Cinema 4D. 1: I found a basic model of the Fox logo online. 2: I remade it to make it more like what I wanted. 3: I used Greyscale Gorilla's City Kit for the background, as well as an image of clouds and mountains I liked. 4: Still in Cinema 4D, I added the "gold" material and beams of light. 5: Watched the real Fox ident to copy the camera move closely. 6: Rendered it as PNGs and imported it into After Effects. 7: Added Lens Flares from Video Copilot. And added colour correction, text etc.
Yeah, The Mary Whitehouse Experience. I think you're only the second person to have gotten that reference (or, at least, to comment about it). I never thought anybody would, tbh. Haha, thanks for the comment
good stuff...apart from the ship which is cool but it s the exactly the same as that one we can see in Aliens part 2. However, the atmosphere is awesome and you gave me fun. You have arranged a surreal environment and cyber punk characters very suitable and effective. Everything that you have displeyed gives the idea of that super alienation which pervades human society surrounding the common Alien topic as we have seen it so far in each movie of this saga. Aliens basically win because humans are one aginst each other or they are just incapable to be stuck together, communicate, and act for the same goal as it happens in your short film. Also you present the same tipical powerlessness which affects the spectator. Scattered puzzled scenes provide with a sense of loneliness and chaos as well as impredictable circustances. The parts of the movie are well designed. One part goes slowly and it s more like a preparation for the second part. it is well done because it helps to accumulate tension and expectations. In contrast, the second part is mostly based on action but it is (I suppose) deliberately confused...which it s good because it does not give answers.... Finally you have found an ironic style too. For instance when the elevetor suddenly stops working and the soldier says: "so...it s the guns time now?" and the woman replays "whatever happens here has left the system (?) here... Give it the moment...that s all"...it was funny. Well done guys...keep going
+Jacopo D'Alessio Wow, this is really insightful. Obviously, thank you for watching and commenting; but I really appreciate you taking the time to write such a well articulated critique. Have you studied film at film school or university? Your comment, as well as a few others recently, I've found uplifting and stimulating. Thanks for the encouragement.
hi! you are most welcome. I have studied Arts and Philosophy at uni. but my majors were novels, poems, philology and phylosophy. By the way I have always enjoyed movies and I used to apply same techniques of analysis about novels into movies, despite the many differences... it was a pleasure to watch your work, indeed... Hope you ll develop your story and make ti out a movie...keeping the main lines you have proposed....good luck with that! (ps. Don t make it too massy....but never give us answers... LOL). u did a great job...well done!
Very well, done. Looking forward to seeing more. It’s Messed up though, that a fan is producing better content on just his laptop than Ridley has managed in his last 2 movies. Ridley should be ashamed of himself.
Very Good. I don't understand why some people don't like the voices. I just assumed that each character was from a different planet, therefore: Different Planet=Different/Strange Voice. We can't assume that Humanoid creatures from strange planets will sound like us.
+SoftCelAnimation What is actually awesome is logging on to your UA-cam account and finding someone describing something you've made as awesome. Genuinely, thank you for your comment; and I'm really glad you liked the short film.

+Michael Simonson Thank you for commenting, and thank you for such encouragement, mate.
this is a master piece...1 millions time better than Ridley Scott's new movies.
So cool! I loved it, from beginning to end! Especially the camera work! Thanks!!!!
+3dmonkeybizz Thank you for commenting. Glad you liked the camera work - I try really hard to make the camera move in a way that feels "natural" and isn't jarring (I don't always succeed, but I'm getting better).
Very well done - respect for all the work this took.
+Andy Klyen Thanks, mate. Appreciated.
I really am enjoying this movie!
This is just part 1 of the trilogy.
Superior, satisfying, involving. We want more heavy duty sci-fi monster films.
I admire people who can make these in their [ spare ] time and with their resources............Yes you left me hanging for part 2
Watched this after watching your latest Alien movie - while 2nd one is noticeably better this one was still fun to watch too. Good job on both.
Thank you. Yeah, with these 'Alien' films, the hope is that I progress and develop my skills. So I'm glad that you felt there was an improvement with the second one.
the dialog is GOLD!!! they need to make a series out of this!
I'd watch..
@@genefairl2096 Me 2!! Not Alien 2... But me 2!! =D
That was AWESOME ! Great job and story line ! I give it 1000 ! 👍
+Claude Christian Wow. Your positivity and enthusiasm about this is very much appreciated. Thank you.
Cheers.
If it weren't't for obsession, we'd have no flicks at all.
Very true. And very eloquently way of putting it.
Thank you! Better than the prequels!
Even if it's just a sketch (that ate half a year of your life) I love it. Good work and thanks for giving us this.
Pretty darn cool! I especially liked the witty dialogue.
Thank you.
Whatever its origin, the "15 minutes later" worked for me - as a dark humor. Can imagine our heroes having waited ever less patiently. A joke on us audients also - denying us the expected formula at that point.
I was surprised by the entry into the empty city at sunset. Very beautiful. I imagine the Vangelis theme from Blade Runner.
Thank you. Yeah, the sunset was a deliberate choice, to subvert the visual expectation of an Alien-type film.
This is actually very good. Should be a full-featured production.
+Charles Cheung I wish!
i love how it is intentionally and also unintentionally hilarious. it's not quite spoopy but it surely is something..
LOL! 15 minutes later... Really nicely done! Fantastic job on both the special effects and the dialogue. Looking forward to watching the second and third parts.
That was too funny. I loved it. Great animation too.
Seriously. One man. No budget? Genius!
Thank you. Well, in part 2, Alien Continuum, what happened in those missing 15 minutes is explained (but not shown).
"Have u farted"...
I pushed video self destruct button right there.
Wow pretty good. Some of the aliens movement was excellent.
hahaha. This had more intense scarier scenes than covenant. Ridley needs to hire you.
Loved it! The musics is gorgeous and the dialogue and acting are great.. The ships were awesome!
Great sort, scared the crap out of me. Looking forward to the next episode.
well personally i think you did a great job on this, (i enjoyed it to a point where when it said 15 mins later i was quite pissed off that id missed part of something i was enjoying, lol) great work keep it up mate !!!
+GWENTman64 Haha, yeh some people like the "15 minutes later..." shortcut, some don't. But I'm glad you enjoyed the film overall nevertheless. Thank you for the comment: I appreciate the encouragement.
i did actually enjoy it very much,
Nail biting stuff! Nice Work, Darkus Marque!
+Timowens100 thanks.
+Timowens100 thanks.
That was pretty darn good...looking forward to the continuation :D
I do handle Fate magazine's Facebook site, so that has helped as I am posting articles for them
The CGI is more for background effects/title,etc..I am trying to duplicate what Carpenter did with his movie of sorts(puppets/animatronics/lighting/etc)...I want to create the psychological aspect..sadly i won't be able to come close..but i will create alot of anxiety and some "woh" moments from the cross-over aspect. Just put The Thing fan-film in the subject line since this email is very particular and filters everything :)
jamieleeanderson@hushmail.com
Talk to you later
Your enthusiasm and positivity for your project really comes through, and that is gonna come in really handy during the times when the project hits a rough patch (I'm not being negative - NO project is ever smooth sailing!). I honestly hope your plans come to fruition. It's kinda exciting to hear from someone in a similar position to myself speak with such energy about their film-making, or prospective film-making. Your wish to use puppets and animatronics sounds great.
From one aspiring film-maker to another: I'm rooting for you, Jamie!
I dont understand because dislikes. Good work. My respects
other than the robotic mouth movement. I enjoyed the short sci-fi production. well done and thanks for sharing.
+marty fowler Thank you. The mouth movements (along with the voices) are the main things I'm working on improving for part 2.
Excellent, love the humor too. Wish this type of idea was given the resources to excel.
Nice work mate.
You have at minimum got the wheels turning. I look forward to your progress. Sub'd ;)
Well Autum is around the corner. Got my pocorn ready and my soda. Wanna be the first one at the premiere, so keep me posted. I think the time you spent on this short video was worth it. Txs.
I like both your work and your comments here. Both helpful & encouraging! Well done! Keep pushing forward!
Thanks.
Just found this series, well done. Great humor. Loved Jack taking the piss out of Bane.
Going to 2 ep now.
This is a lot of work. Good job! Love the way you piece it all together so economically. I can appreciate that.
+malicedownunder Thanks. I get the impression you know the joy & pain of CG/animation/filmmaking.
You sir did a great job! I truly appreciate your hard work!! cant wait for part 2! well done!
+Viralpendemic Thanks, mate.
Well done, this was cleverly made, this type of thing could go a long way, a new game, even a full length movie.
I'm using it out of love & respect *imagine a juvenile and disingenuous heart/love type emoji inserted right here*
See, I don't care what Ellen Ripley says about you, I think your Synthetics are great.
There is no need to worry, no copywright regulations have been broken, feel free to continue your hobby or any real scientific work.
Fun to watch, nice work look forward to a part 2 hopefully.
So many lens flares, JJ would be proud.
Wow... Just wow... I just subbed and I can't stop watching this...
Thank you for this comment. I'm very happy you enjoyed the film.
You cut that 15 minute tried and tired trope of finding the monster and cut to them running for their lives, bravo!
well, let's be honest Ronn, this is a 12.5 min short. So... there's that
This is fucking awesome. It kicks ass. I like the characters a lot. Animation is off the chain. I'm gonna go watch the continuation now.
Good stuff keep it coming I would sit thru whole movie as well
i loved this ... pure class... great job... 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
+Stephen McDowall Thanks.
Wow, impressive, that was fun to watch. Good job, that must have been a log of work!!!
+weelyn91 Thanks. Glad you liked it. Yeah it was a lot of work, but that's mainly because I'm learning as I go - I'm in the process of self-teaching myself animation.
One might say they wound up on an express elevator to hell. ;-) Very well made indeed.
woaw,,,then it comes the "roarrrrwarrarr", then the gun and to be continued!!!,continuation plss, want to watch the full!!!,subscribed!
+Christian Donato Thank you. I'm currently working on part 2. I'm hoping to have it ready by September . . . . the key word is 'hoping'.
+Darkus Marque so then I'll wait!!!
That was very well done.
I really got into the story. I would never criticize such a good effort. Made me laugh at times too. Great work :D
Thank you. And I'm really glad you connected with the humour too.
very cool, i like it alot. more please lol. thanks for posting.
nicely done ... can't wait for the second half.
Great. Made with talent and effort
This is superb . Well made.
for a private fun project done on a laptop - this is great work.
Thank you. I made it as a self-teaching exercise . . . . . . mostly . . . . . and I REALLY have learned a lot from it. Even the whole process of posting it and the subsequent comments and interaction has been very educational.
I appreciate you leaving me a positive comment.
Good job adding the disclaimer. I think you're in the clear. I watched it again and enjoyed it the second time.
Very nice. I Liked the 20th century Fox logo at the start.
I loved the art direction and dialogue. I only watched about 8 minutes of "2017 ALIEN CONTINUUM" before turning it off.
props bro! this is sick! I like how you used models from some of my favorite games...subscribed can't wait to check out your other vids!
+TheVyrus74 Thank you. Honestly, much appreciated.
The graphics are fantastic.
That is an amazing achievement. Well done. Its a great previs concept piece.
Good stuff. I look forward to seeing the next part.
''thats you that is'' newman and Badiel man thanks for that blast into 92 lol I can STILL smell Egg LMAO
Well done! Am glad you're doing more!
Very Good. I don't understand why some people don't like the voices.
I just assumed that each character was from a different planet, therefore: Different Planet=Different/Strange Voice.
We can't assume that Humanoid creatures from strange planets will sound like us.
Very nicely done! You really have some talent.
+nanomanpa Thank you very much. Appreciated.
This is Freakin' AWESOME!
+SoftCelAnimation What is actually awesome is logging on to your UA-cam account and finding someone describing something you've made as awesome. Genuinely, thank you for your comment; and I'm really glad you liked the short film.
Great job!! So awesome!!
Thank you. I'm genuinely glad you enjoyed it.
The best line to start your movie, "Did you farted" 😄😄😄
Enjoyed watching this flick. Thank You!
this is excellent..well done!
