I have so much respect for you coach. I’m going to listen to the podcast and donate whenever i can: thanks for everything u do, it is appreciated and it is helping me so much in class. Thank you
someone gives a thumbs down? Jesus christ! I love that you addressed the 4 thumbs down, I'm looking at on my screen! The details that you give, and the people that you have with you are incredible. We really appreciate the hard work you put into teaching us coach brian! I'm a blue belt, trained 3 years in las vegas (no gi) and use your back bridge into ghost combos as my religion. Especially when were deep into rounds and they're trying to rest. (I'm 147lbs.) It's literally saved me every roll. Either way, your content is just incredible. Please!!! Please!!! keep making content....
The color and resolution of this video is so good. I am curious what camera you use. Of course, your lessons are always superb. You are my most wanted teacher of Jiujitsu.
Thanks coach! I'd really love to hear your take about countering regular triangle counters especially when the guy stacks you and drives forward to force your legs open. How can you stop them from doing that counter so you can actually finish the triangle. I have to admit: I don't try triangle on big guys because odds are that they will stack me and pass my guard. Huge fan of your channel and will definitely support it as much as I can. Thank you!
Super great breakdown bud! I think a really good week to like work on that would be to get in that position from the guard and then get out of it get back in it get out of it get back in it and then work on taking the flying part of it what you think?
hey brian respect for your teaching but the kimura from the triangle is more efficient if you clamp the left leg off the head place the right leg over the opponents left leg if he tries to roll as i were teaching this to my fighters over 8 years ago this is more effective
Was wondering since you have números videos constantly being made and sharred which is great. Can you do a video on the origin of the Kimura technique. Exactly who taught the technique to who and if possible provide citation per technique, Practitioner, and Martial art style. Good job on ur videos. Thanks
no Canadian accent but he keeps saying "sorry" to the dude. can you imagine if the Brazilian teachers were always saying sorry to the demo due?? they act like they are doing him a favour. instead of saying sorry they look at the demo dude like he is supposed to say thank you.
Could you break down the pretty old tape of Bob Ropp challenging a wannabe pro wrestler to a amateur wrestling match and then stretching the guy seven ways to Sunday?

You can feed the wrist to the overhook hand and now have a freearm to help breakfall

Coach you're an amazing teacher. Wish I was out in Cali so I could take lessons. In the meantime I'm enjoying all the vids you put out!

I always have an issue where my opponent stacks me when I attempt a triangle. What's the best way to counter this?
Elevate your hips, and wiggle back!
Oh then I was going to say when you reach underneath his leg and then lock your hands I would just call that a cradle position
Wouldn't it be easier to throw an omoplata there?
It’s an option but the Omoplata can be escaped much easier!
