This song brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. To the point where I actively have to avoid it because it triggers an emotion I really can’t put my finger on. My beautiful wife passed away 3 years ago today and we danced to this song on top of a mountain in Cyprus. We used to travel a lot and the memories kill me... I’m crying as I write this but I can only say that I’m the luckiest man in the world to have known her. I hope you’re dancing with me in the clouds honey, I’ll never know anyone as beautiful as you.
Life isn´t always easy and fair. Same with memories. And music can really make it harder. But it is a great song. Seen him once in Sweden 2016 and was suppose to see him perform at CCMF (SC) this year. Everything was cancelled.

This is the song my older brother and the love of his life shared together. I don’t listen to it, or sing it because of a memory I have. I always sing it for his memory, and I’m so grateful my brother had that kind of love Eric sings of. I’m so happy he got to experience that in his short time with us.

If he only knew all the Springsteen memories I have, since 1978.
For me it was ‘74 listening to Rosalita on the college fm radio while in my horse barn, as a kid, cleaning out the stalls. And then a couple of years later attending Springsteen concerts at little upstate colleges.

I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert a few weeks ago. Best concert I have ever been to. He has continued writing songs about things that matter. He has so many classics, and in my opinion, he's a future member of the country music hall of fame.
The first time I heard this song on the radio, I was working in a warehouse in Hannibal, Missouri. I went totally nuts ! BTW, I seen The Boss in concert eleven times !
