Tony that was me the got Orangewood to reach out to you back when I was a Tac member. I contacted them, told them all about Acoustic Tuesday and suggested they send you a guitar to test drive. I’m so glad they did and I’m happy to see you liked the guitar. I think they are a great company and I now own 4 of their guitars.
Regarding the Sage: For me, as someone who doesn't know that much about high-end guitars and hasn't had the chance to play on them, it would have been really interesting to hear your thoughts on the limitations of this model. It seems like a super good value for the money, but what would you look for in a higher-end guitar that couldn't find in this one, especially in regards to tone and playability (rather than aesthetics)? Also... how does this compare with a Taylor 114ce?? Thanks! You make the best acoustic vids!
I had an orangewood but gave it away to two young kids that are learning to play. But while I had it i was quite impressed by it, especially how well it played / sounded for the price. Incredible guitar to start on. (btw Clapton hands down)

I had to clear that up post haste to keep my actual wife from getting after me.
I play an acoustic a friend made... nobody notices it because it's a plain looking OM sized guitar. It blows me away, and is so inspirational to play... it's hard to put down. The Orangewood sounds wonderful. Will check the spec's... l like wide necks...

Amos Lee! Tony, Noah, Crew, well done this week! My wife and I catch Amos whenever he comes near NY. Just recently streamed his RedRocks show. Keep it up y’all!

Can a Gibson sj100 be strung with 13-56 gauge strings tuned to normal tuning? Someone told me I'd slowly kill the top? I love how they sound and feel but I'm concerned about the long term damage I may be causing. Please help me with advice if you can.
Hey Tony et al, got a small in this week, on the let it go app I found an Epiphone AJ-100 for $48, I was going on a road trip and did not want to take my late fathers Crafter (the guitar I am learning on) so I figured if something happened to a $48 guitar it wouldn't hurt nearly as much as something happening to my Dad's. However the neck was severely bowed, over the next two days I slowly tightened the truss rod (Without your advice no way would have tried this on my own) now it plays wonderful, thank you for showing me that I could do this.
Correct, that is Jayne. She built both of my EJ Henderson's. Great builder and an even better person. However, she is definitely not my wife. Glad I got that cleared up before I got in trouble. :}

Orangewoods are going to sound better than the new Martin X series guitars. All be it the X series guitars look beautiful, they sound like a budget guitar being almost entirely HPL construction. You don't even get a real wood fingerboard. The only bad thing with the orangewoods is that they tend to be overbuilt with the bracing which hurts the bottom end.
