Exactly what I want to build in our entryway way!! You make it look so easy so hopefully we don’t mess up too badly 🙈 mr bulldog was definitely an added bonus 😍😍
Danny, I am going to mimick this in my mud room, looks nice/Simple. You could always go back and do a voice over with insructions on the same video. FYI
Danny, great build! Can you please share more insights regarding how you mounted the top cubbies. I saw you added a ledger board, but am curious how you built the back of the top cubbies to mount on it. Thanks!!!
Thanks for watching. The top cubbies were mounted using a french cleat method ( just search it on UA-cam). It would we way easier to watch then for me to attempt to explain it. Lol.
Here's hoping that plans are released on the 2 year anniversary :) At this point, I'm ready to go it alone but I'd love to know what the benchtop itself is made from.
Loved the design! What size are the cubbies on the top and bottom? Also what size basket did you use? Looking to do this in our basement remodel as well as in our entry way. Any plans by chance?
Video style and quality was awesome Danny! I really enjoyed this build. Got some ideas for my upcoming “hall tree” project. The bulldog was great and you should borrow the curious pup for more projects. Thanks for the video brotha.
Hi Danny, you painted the cubbies before installing and painted again after installing in place. Do you recommend this two-step painting or can I just paint the whole thing (minus the bench) once they are installed?
@@pzazzera it was just shy of 8'. Its was made out of oak veneer plywood stained and cleared. To cover up seeing the plys I glued on a strip of hardwood to the edge, making it look like a solid peice.
Danny, what was your upper cabinet box height if your base was 18-20" height and the depth as well. Also with your french cleat did you mount it flush to the back of the upper cabinet or was the back of your upper cabinet recessed 3/4"?
I am pretty much going to copy this I think for our screened in back porch! As a novice woodworker I appreciate your attention to detail! It looks like you used 3/4 plywood? Also..your feed table, I like it. How did you configure that saw horse/ a frame?
Yes it is 3/4" ply. With solid wood trim. The outfeed table is a Ron Paulk design, he has a youtube channel. I think its called the total work station. It is designd to be easy to move around. I actually just built an updated workbench one that is not mobile. Thanks for watching!
Sweet Jesus I want this. Watching this made me realize that it is not as easy as I imagined. Nice skills!
Lol. Thanks for watching!
Great work and the dog getting in the camera was an extra bonus 😂
Such beautiful craftsmanship. Two thumbs way up, from this amateur woodworker.
Thanks for watching!
I love the craftsmanship from this guy. Beautiful build!!!
Thanks! Much appreciated!
Great job dude! Very nice!
Great work homeboy
Thanks!

You got this! He was trying to take the mic of off the camera. LOL!
Looks great!
Nice work! I've got to build one for my wife. Good ideas from looking at your work.
Thanks for watching!
Nice build! Looking around for ideas, I think I'm going to give this a try :-)
Nice work! Good dog!
Nice work man! Love how it turned out👍
Thanks for watching!

Turned out so nice! I love it!
Jennifer Rincon trying to see what material was bought for the project. Want to build something similar.
My daughters really enjoyed the dog checking out the camera
Awesome! This is exactly what I want in my space for a mudroom. How much it may cost so I can make a budget for it?
True craftsmanship. Thank you for showing how-to.
Beautiful
Well done man!
Thanks for watching!
Great job- looks so good! Your dog totally stole the show though Lol
He was trying to steal the mic!
Good Job!! Doing the same thing and would like to know if you the attach the coat hook into the stud or just directly to the 3/4 plywood.
Attached to the 3/4" ply.
Looks awesome
Great job. That looks amazing!
Great work!
Good work man! Nicely done
Nice.

Nice work mate! Subbed
Thanks!
Great piece, but the thumbs up is for the puppy... Lol.
Thanks for watching!
I love this! I want to make one exactly like it.... I won’t be able to haha
Here's hoping that plans are released on the 2 year anniversary :)
At this point, I'm ready to go it alone but I'd love to know what the benchtop itself is made from.
LOL! Its just a peice of hardwood veneered plywood and a peice of hardwood brad nailed to the face to mak it look like a solid peice of wood.
Loved the design! What size are the cubbies on the top and bottom? Also what size basket did you use? Looking to do this in our basement remodel as well as in our entry way. Any plans by chance?
Sorry, no plans yet. The top cubbies were 12"W X 12"H X 12"D and the bottom was 15.25" W x 12"H X 18"D. I dont remember the size of the baskets.
@@rinkelton thank you! This will help determine what size baskets!
Looks great! Are plans being posted on your website? Link to website?
Yes, at some piont soon 😢
Thanks for watching!
very nice work! What did you use for the bench seat top?
Its just a oak veneer plywood with a hardwood strip on the end to cover up the plys.
Turned out great. How did you hang the top box? Is that some sort of French cleat, or screwed right into it from the back plate?
Exactly my question. Not sure how he got it flush to the back wall. The plans aren't on the website. Thanks for any help.
Yes, I am wondering the same thing. How did you hang the top box?
what was the width of this project. seems like the perfect size for my family of four.
I dont recall. I think it was 7'.
Fast forward the video 1.5. Music is dope. So is the hall tree
Great work enjoyed the video and dog haha. Just curious about how much time did this take from start to finish ? Hard to tell with the time lapse
I would say maybe 2 weeks?
plans would be amazing for this!
Wud u mind telling me the items name for back of wall u put strips? And total how much u endup paying for all stuff? Thx
The strips were poplar wood and total cost was approximately $700 before covid inflation. Thanks for watching!

great work !! what would something just like that cost ?
Could you please tell me the dimensions of face frame board you used ? Is 1x3 nominal or 1x2 actual ? TYIA!!
3/4" x 1 1/2" actual size.
@@rinkelton Thank you !!
What did you make the bench top out of? Is that just stained plywood? Really nice build!
Thanks! Its oak veneer plywood with hardwood trim.
@@rinkelton Thanks!
What was the list of materials you used for this project?
Looks really good. One addition may be some LED accent lights on the top.
What thickness board did you use
Where can I get plans !??
shouldn't you have removed the flooring and baseboards?
Hi Danny, you painted the cubbies before installing and painted again after installing in place. Do you recommend this two-step painting or can I just paint the whole thing (minus the bench) once they are installed?
I’m thinking maybe he primed them first? I think that would save time with the drying. I could be wrong though!
Nice work! What are the dimensions?
The extra steps to make sure it looks good and is done properly are pretty crazy. I would have rushed it haha
I wanted to many times! Thanks for watching.
how high is the bench height Danny?
I want to say it was 18-20 inches.
@@rinkelton whats the length of the bench? Did you use a piece of stained pine for it?
@@pzazzera it was just shy of 8'. Its was made out of oak veneer plywood stained and cleared. To cover up seeing the plys I glued on a strip of hardwood to the edge, making it look like a solid peice.

what's your website Danny?
How much you something like this cost to have a craftsman do?
Wow! Great work. I want to build this almost exactly. Did you happen to get the plans going?
No there are not complete yet. Thanks for watching though!

What did this job cost? How does an average Joe find someone that can make this?
What’s the point of doing this video if it’s not step by step?
Beautiful
