Hope you enjoyed the longer video format! Had tons of gameplay I wanted to show off to you guys. Harugumo is one of my personal favorite destroyers to play in the game. Super fun to farm battleships all game long. However you need to know the ship is built to farm, and farm only*. If you try to play Harugumo like a conventional destroyer, you will not be using it to the max.
*The AP DPM does allow you to deal with smaller dds but not bigger ones

I am running APCS on the ship. IFHE is pretty redundant overall since you don’t gain much. May as well buff the AP so you full pen dds.
As for how to get better. I plan to possibly make a video breaking down some of my Harugumo games. However the way I would improve is by pushing a side and trying to kill the enemy dd first if possible. You wanna get rid of any dd that can harass you while you farm. Once you do that, you try to farm a bb or cruiser to farm and play more at range. Only if they are dumb can you push. Harugumo has tons of range to play with, so no need to play super aggressive.
