This is everything that a cover song should be. Take something unknown and make it your own. Just adore this in every sense. Top 5 favorite song the past 10 years.
Bill Fox is the Bob Dylan of LoFi. Matthew Caws is one talented dude as well. I love the fact that he sounds like the late Gary Loizzo of The American Breed.
great show tonight at the belly up you guys! Amazing set! Checked out the video before I left, but didn't have time to comment. It is beautiful! Love the visuals, and such a fun song to cover! Thanks for playing a bit closer to home for me. I would drive to the casbah or the troub. anyday for you, but it was a nice change to only be a 25 minute drive from the show for once! :) Have a great rest of the tour! ~mike
Wow, cool cover! I can't wait to see them tonight and tomorrow at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. I hope they keep touring, and sharing their music with us. :)
I like this a lot! I've heard the name Nada Surf for quite a while, but never checked them out... Apparently, I was missing out! Why isn't this band a stronger presence on the radio?
I really don't want to get a lot of hate for this but my favorite song by nada surf is popular. The last few songs have been just a totally different feel from that song. Are there any other nada surf songs that resemble popular? Thanks
It’s fine that “popular” is yr favorite Nada Surf song. No apology necessary. The cool thing is if you keep digging and listening to Nada Surf more and more “popular” will no doubt be surpassed by potentially 20-30 other Nada Surf tracks. Enjoy the journey.
Just listening to this song on a walk the other day, great then and now!!!!
These dudes knocked it out of the park and honored my boy Bill Fox from Cleveland Ohio!

I also love their cover of "Enjoy the Silence". They totally changed the chords to it, and altered the melody a bit. Very cool.
Criminally underrated song and band. this song should have 100x the views.
Great song. Has a Byrds flavor to it. Keep it coming !
so glad to have seen you live a few times...come back to philly as soon as possible!
I love jangle-pop! Byrds forever!
nada surf = the recipie for love, hope and happiness
Thanks guys, I saw you few years ago in Milano....and it's always an amazing experience feel your songs!

I'm too old to be such a fan, but damn! That was beautiful.
Cant wait to see these guys at the Mercury Lounge this Friday night!!!

Great cover, makes me happy! Nice video :)
Let's all start covering Bill Fox and do acoustic versions Of The Mice songs.
Holy smiles dude! I agree. Bill Fox is the real deal I knew him when I lived in Cleveland..
@@craighubbard8818 You knew where Bill Fox lived. :-)
@@Econojam Indeed. I got to witness his genius way back in the 80s in CLE.
@@hubb123456 The Mice were booked here in my hometown in Holland, Scooter was a big local hit. But Bill wasn't up for it I heard.
@@Econojam Yes, I think that is accurate and it broke up the band. Such talent never getting to fully bloom…
bieen! por fin!!
Bill Fox wrote this song! Check out his version... a bit more mellow, less produced (his living room?), but darn good.
Wow, cool video!!
come to Venezuela! I'm a Big Fan!
Woooooord.
listening to this song is a part of my morning ritual
This song always makes we wanna dance but also enables we to get through the working-day regerdless if my experiments works or not
Nice song & video :)
I can't beleive this band only has 7 videos here.
I like this a lot! I've heard the name Nada Surf for quite a while, but never checked them out... Apparently, I was missing out! Why isn't this band a stronger presence on the radio?
I kiff that
I looooooooooooove it ! it's on my fb profile ;)
Don't get me wrong, Nada Surf is my absolute favorite band... I just hope that that is not a real fur coat on Ira from 2:30 onward.
Like a friend of mine says... (nice) Byrdsian sound!
I'm still livin' in the dark.
they make me happy. also, how do they manage to look just as young as they did in the nineties? haha.
This is pretty much the antithesis of everything that is Bill Fox.
Sublime version of a gem from Bill Fox.

I somewhat agree with you.

Bill Fox
I made some guitar chords for this song. If you want to play it, check out on the website ultimate-guitar and search for the band/sond!
One person was struck by lightning.
Because the radio is allergic to too much melody. It's very sad, huh?
just stop screwing around and come to Australia...sheesh.
