For a man of around 58 yrs old (62 now), Klaus has my admiration- his voice is as sweet as it was when I listened to this at 15yrs old- 30years ago. This (IN TRANCE) is one of my all time favourites by any band and should be sung until Klaus cannot sing any more. Klaus- have a long life and lots of women!

This was a powerful display of Klaus's vocals back in 1975. While we were all listening to Boston, Lynard Skynard, The Who, and Zepplin there was a new breed of rockers making their bones from the other side of the pond and before we knew it the 1980s were hit by every type of music you could think of from Europe. The 80s were a magical time for music, one that has yet to be duplicated -- and I predict it never will because musicianship is gone and with computers, almost anyone can become a singer and a producer. I seen the Scorpions back in 82 at the LA Forum with Bon Jovi.
In Trance has quickly become a Top 5 track for me among their deep catalog! Raised with 80s Scorps, I liked them. Hearing their earlier stuff now and I absolutely love them.
They should release this concert on DVD!! This gig is MUCH better than the Wacken open air! The crowd is AWESOME!! I have chills running down my spine..

Carrie P and I saw these guys in Seattle, at the Hec Ed Pavilion, UW campus. Girls School and the Scorp's opened. They rocked the show. Maiden didn't hold a candle to them. Carrie loved this song better than any other. The Scorpions rule.

Scorpions are the kinds of ballads!!! In Trance, Born to Touch Your Feelings, Winds of Change, Still Loving You, In Your Park, Always Somewhere, Rhythm of Love, Holiday, Lady Starlight, Send Me and Angel etc. They made so many I dont even think I can name them all! :D And they all kick ass!
i'm more impressed with rudy schenker, he's the one that's written 90% of the scorpions music, including this song. so clean & precise with his rhythm playing, a machine.

this is the song that sold me on this band 30 years ago and still remains my favorite song of theirs. They're the first hard rock/metal act i ever saw and always give it their best. to hear the audience singing the words to this song from their 3rd album - amazing since that was back in '75 and look at the youth of that audience singing IN TRANCE. it's truly wonderful. thank you so much for posting this - AND IT'S EXCELLENT QUALITY - AUDIO AND VIDEO - and excellent upload on it. it rules!

Saw them at Shore Line Amphitheater in 1990 (I think) Crazy World tour. We are going to see them on their final tour, in August in Roseburg Oregon!! ! My 14 & 17 &19 year old kids LOVE them Always! Only a few singers get better with age. Klaus Meine is one of them. Scorpions is my all time fav band and In Trance is my number one with them.🌹🌹🌹
