Hi. Whats the purpose of collecting those rocks?
Land is filled up in my village with those rocks you collect ....
@@florjanbasha8150 Cut and polish for various things such as jewelry

This is some of the best fun to be had!!! I can't go at this time,so it is enjoyable to watch this video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching ^^
Your aerial views and nature moments like the bear and butterflies are just over the top fun and professional! As an old rock hound who went on geological trips with my group- it’s fun for me to watch this like I was there with you. Enjoy life to the fullest while you can!
Many thanks! So glad you enjoyed ^^
Is there no sound?
@@nancygaxiola5412 There is a gap in sound because UA-cam messed with some of the music. I'm working on the fix right now. Sorry about that and thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Oh okay cuz I'm pretty sure that weekend warrior just said that he's better than other weekend warriors & maybe you shouldn't do it but him and his old lady are prepared enough but you others just aren't!😂 Nice couple... Id hate to hear their conversation what are they saying about EVERYBODY else when they're inside the tent?😂 ....yeah i kno that type Well
Really enjoy the drone aerial views and the music takes me away from the cement world of civilization...It's like a vacation while staycationing! thanks!!!
Glad you enjoyed it Flying the drone is one of my favorite things to do to escape
Thank you for listing plant and rock/mineral information within your videos. I also enjoy your sense of humor ;-)
You are so welcome! I try my best to tell/show people what I see and I love learning about my surroundings.
Rock hounding is the best
The BEST!!!
First time I’ve visited this channel. Looks like you’re having fun!🎉❤
Loads of fun here!! Welcome to the channel ^^
I follow all Rock Hounding channels/Videos. ❤️👑🌎🛐✝️ It's by far my FAVORITE hobby.
Awesome! Happy you've found my channel ^^
Thanks for watching man
Wow, you ran into Currently Rockhounding Jared and Sarah! Out in the middle of no where! That's pretty awesome if you ask me!! They are so cool, how awesome is that!
They indeed are some cool cats. I hope to hang out with them more in the near future ^^
Thanks for watching and hope to chat with you again!!
@@TheRogueRockhound I am sure we will have many questions. I will have to binge watch your videos, I only watch a handful of Rockhounding videos. I am subbed to a lot of channels but I only watch a few channels.
Currently Rockhounding is one of the only other channels I watch on a daily basis. I have so much respected for Jared and Sarah! They educate on a geological level! Thank you for sharing all your videos with us, you seam to be having the time of your life! I will most certainly be binge watch you videos!
@@TheRogueRockhound I recently found a mostly carnelian agate here in Yonkers, NY that is 7.8lbs. I’m lucky to live in the one place I know of in downstate NY where this stuff can be found.
Love your video! Thx for the flower pics too. Wish I was younger I’d be out there too❤️
You are so welcome!
You're KILLIN' me with some of the agates you toss! Bro! 😠😂😂
I hear that a lot HAHA
I Appreciate your watching and hope to chat with you again soon!
LOVE BEND❤ I recognize the Klamath Falls drive - great video! 🎉
Such a beautiful area. Thanks for watching ^^
Where the conglomerate meets bedrock is usually gold bearing.
Super satisfying. ✨☀️ Thank you.
You’re welcome 😊
Love everything you do!
I really appreciate that and thank you for watching.
Enjoy your weekend Debbie ^^
125 views and only a couple comments on a kickass video?! I've already seen all this footage but still cool to see it all in one video. I have some material just like the stuff at 9:20 (I think was the time note) in my rock tumbler right now. Were you in Nevada there? Thats where I was told the material came from. Just gorgeous stuff! Bro, your videos are so awesome. I mean seriously though! I would love to get a chance to go hounding with you again. Have a great weekend, Andrew!
I would be looking for gold in those ancient river beds.
good call!
Enjoy your vids!!!
I appreciate that you don't go out there and tear stuff up.
I unsubscribed from another Oregon hound because he destroyed far more good material than was necessary to collect what he took, and that infuriates me. Irresponsible. Gets us kicked out, makes us unwelcome.
Thanks! I really appreciate your support.
I try to keep the land as I found it and mostly rely on erosion to expose new material. Sometimes i will do some chipping to get a better specimen but most of what I find is on the surface.
Thanks again and stay warm ^^
Super video!!
What an awesome trip. I have to go there someday.
Yes you do
Someone braided the grass then you came upon it? Thats cool.
That's what I thought
Over quarter million views and watch time up big time with long videos. Great job all around makes me wonder about my 10 minute videos 😅
Yeah buddy ^^
Hit me up some time and we can chat about YT stuff
so where are your thick neoprene gloves??? Dy land or wet, would protect you from small fanged critters .... You are much braver than I would be ;-)
Depends on where I am. I use these gloves called "chilly grips" when I do hardrock mining and I love em. Nice a durable but dont make my hands sweat like crazy.
Thanks for watching ^^
I'm pretty sure the Rocky broke open there around a minute and 30 some type of sea fossil I have a lot of those in my collection I'll actually almost every rock that I have there's agitized is I don't still don't know what kind of fossil they are but it looks a lot like the ones that I have found them on the Oregon California border but I'm finding them up here and Myrtle Creek but they're not agitized a lot of them. Have been touched by the native Americans I think they were releasing the fish's spirit from the fossil because most of those fossils seem to have a fish inside
I like ston
Me too friend ^^
My girlfriend really likes your videos!
Awesome! Hope you don't mind them ^^
Incrível esse lugar
Oregon é um estado maravilhoso. As montanhas são especialmente bonitas na primavera. Obrigado por assistir ALÊ ^^
You were with Currently Rockhounding but not sure what area of high desert you were? Looks pretty cool for rock hunting. Just curious.
We were at McDermitt
What general area in McDermitt were you, I'd love to go!!!
Its about 10 or so miles right outside the town. There is a whole loop of spots out there.
42°01'37.8"N 117°55'39.8"W 42.027170, -117.927720
These are the coordinates to one of the camp spots.
Hope that helps!
If you'd like to help support the channel and see new spots to rockhound, please consider sharing the channel with your friends ^^
Hey I just checked your video out Looks good interesting I watch more So I subscribe to it Thank you have a good day
Awesome thank you!
I look forward to chatting with you in the future!
I would definitely wanted that rock you found at 52:40 i bet if you sliced and polished it, it would be spectacular
100% agree ^^
I would be bringing my self blow up mattresses and my micro foam cover for the mattress! I will most likely have back issues, if I have them at home, more than likely I would have the same issues out threre as well. All that gravel is ancient gravel beds! That's where you can find gold! so I wonder if someone dug and panned some of that gravel? Interesting. Someone obviously saw that and knew right away what could be in that ancient river bed! How exciting! Plus it looks like someone accidentally plannted some squash? Or is the huge leafed plant local to the area? It happens alot to near places, and that people occupy especially near water, tthere will be a random strawberry bush or something growing that didn't grow there previously. From humans eating and tossing the leftover fruits or seeds. It would be a great idea to help the local wildlife out, but probably frowned upon by wildlife enforcement.
The plant that had the giant circular leaves are water plants.I don't know their names, but we can find them growing in the North Fork of the Yuba river in Northern Ca.I tried transplanting a root to my home once, when i didn't know what I was doing-before i knew about what plants need to survive. It failed of course, but they still fascinate me!
Nice job man I just joined you
Thanks Rich!! I appreciate it and look forward to chatting w/ you
My brother has a motorized wheel barrow. You need one.
Thats the truth ^^
Is quartz hard to come by out there? Thats something we have a lot of in NE.
It's everywhere here
I havent read the other comments. This might be an old question. Spot 3 Agate rd clear fleck. It looked like a broken arrow head??
Possibly, but the broken ones are super hard to tell.
Definitely didnt take it ^^. I dont want the Karens coming out of the woodwork to REEEE at me for picking up a rock...
Totally left it there (wink wink)
Thanks for watching!!
Found Waldo LOL
HAHA!
Take some samples and have it assayed.
Great idea! Just need to get some time lol
I have about 800 LBS OF SLAB I got from there 15 years ago well thats what's left I am a Knepper
WOW! You must have had a ton ^^
you are too cool
^^ Thanks Betty
@@TheRogueRockhound you're welcome
Your wonder stone is rhyolite
Thanks Steve!!
I must live in the only place in America.....New England, RI to be exact that has no interesting rocks. Save Cumberlandite which is in the town i grew up in Cumberland, RI which is only found in one small place and nowhere else on Earth. But even that is nothing to look at. Basically black rock
Rhode island has a ton of cool stuff www.mindat.org/loc-15050.html
@@TheRogueRockhound Thanks man. I appreciate that. Subbed and hit the bell.
@@PabloDiablo682 Thanks man!
I'm gonna start looking. tx
@@PabloDiablo682 If there are old mines around, see what they were mining and then figure out the associated minerals e.g. Copper mine = malachite/azurite
“The ground IS AGATE.” Damn I wanna go there. It looks treacherous to a eastern boy, but I’d love to go for a week or so!
Its next level man. No joke.
Depending on the time of year, the conditions aren't bad at all. I recommend spring, but fall is decent as well
You need more intelligent speaking. Explaining what kind of rocks were looking at and less of that awful music, thank you.
I appreciate your feedback. You might consider using a spell checker before telling people they need to be more intelligent though.

Do you know what a "Mudfossil" is, no, didn't think so. Thumbs down. !!!
Sorry man, I'm still learning. Thanks for letting me know I need to do more research.
Hopefully I can get things correct next time.
