  • Think Tank Photo is one of my favorite companies in the photo industry. They produce some of the best gear for carrying your photo equipment and I've been using their products since 2005 or 2006. Personally, I own the Airport Security, the Pro Modulus System (AKA Modular Components System) and a bunch of their organizer equipment.
I met up with the Think Tank crew at this year's WPPI show in Las Vegas and asked them to show off their three newest products. Here's a video overview of the Retrospective V2, Vision series and the Stand Manager 52.

I had a tough time choosing between the Retrospective 7 v.2 or the Vision 10. I finally choose the Retrpspective 7 since I am going to use this bag outdoors in the elements. Your company makes great products!

Thanks Mike! These look like very nicely made bags! However, they have the same flaw that most shoulder/messenger bags have -- they open towards the user! Have you ever trued to change lenses while carrying one of these bags. You essentially have to put the bag down or be some kind of contortionist! One of the only bags I've found that opens away from the user is TT own Mirrorless Mover 30i. Unfortunately that bag lacks all the nice dividers, zippered compartments etc of these bags shown in this video. I don't get it. Don't any of these companies consult with photographers that actually use these bags? I like to travel light, usually with no more than 3 small lenses and my Sony A7III, spare battery, s few filters, cable release etc. Great if it looks stylish etc, but it has to be functional when I'm out shooting. Yes I travel with an iPad or laptop, but I don't care it around with me. When traveling that goes in my carryon, not in my bag. So that is not a useful feature. Come on TT, make improved versions of the Mirrorless Mover bags with nice materials and features like the bags shown here and that make changing lenses safe and easy.
