For the foundations you use a underslab vapor barrier over the sand or gravel, sand is used in dryer climates, gravel is used in moister to medium weather environments. Here we have to use 2 types of gravel a medium and a small pea gravel so they can interlock and create a high sink resistance. Where I live, we have a lot of sandy soil. I used to work construction.

Found you by looking for some reviews of this new game , love how relaxing and " easy to watch " your videos are !
Btw , you can hold more than 1 or the small packages in your hand for more capacity ( when unlocked of course ) like the sand bags when it's time to pour it !
Also , always buy more sand and cement than the game tells you or you will fall short as it cannot calculate how much you actually pour !

As someone with really poor vision, it kills me to watch you play at night or in an unlit room. That said, I love how efficiently you go about your renovations. Wow, the horizontal exterior brick cladding looks awful. I'll be curious to see what the devs' response is to your screenshot.

I think to not need a wall between the living room and kitchen, in planning just put in the spaces and don't do a wall.

Yup, you just need to have the floor assigned to a room, or set as a generic unassigned floor. When he deleted the wall the floor became Empty *void*

The planner is the most annoying aspect and yes the dimensions given by area instead of lengths makes it very difficult to gauge how long a wall is going to be. Then you could get some bugs halting progress and you'll have to start the very beginning all over again. - I hope you can accept more than one contract at a time.

Great series. You mentioned it got harder as it goes on does this just mean it takes longer or is it timed or something like that? This game looks great although things like the cladding need to be fixed. I wonder if you can get frosted windows. Can you repair and paint/stain furniture that you remove on job sites? It wo7ld be interesting if you canrepair them for more money or use in another shop. I'd alsolove to see some landscaping jobs in the game too if it's not there already. Are there porches and decks also in the game?

it gets more involved time wise. you really need more than one person playing. some of the upgrades for the office area are over $100k and it would take me 3-4 jobs to get that and each job in real time takes hours of playing.

In Europe it is standard to insulate inner walls.

We normally will use a waterproof kind of insulation here like foam board, but some still use the OG fiberglass.

I think it " could" be, it still has a ways to go, but the devs are constantly listening to feedback on their discord and making patches.
