I read online that Laurie won't get a chance to compete in the individual all-around competition and I can't understand why because when I watched the Olympic trials, Laurie was amazing. But maybe Marta sees something that I don't see.
You can only have 2 in the finals and in qualifications you have four in each event and to compete all around you need to compete all four. There is 2 people on the team who are especially good at bars (Gabby and Madison) and obviously Simone was gonna compete all around so that left one spot. Aly got that all around spot cause I think Marta thinks she is more consistent and reliable.
She doesn't seem 16. So mature and beyond her years. Love her, she so deserves this!
