- French soldiers took part in the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace for the first time.
The soldiers took part in the London ceremony as part of celebrations for the 120th anniversary of the Entente Cordiale between Britain and France.
The Entente was a pact, signed in 1904, which solidified an Anglo-French alliance after hundreds of years of opposition.

Vive la France, vive l'Angleterre 🇨🇵🇬🇧
Whatever people say about French at Buckingham Palace guards i personally welcome the French here beautiful country and people
I think it is intended to demonstrate entente cordial - to help create good feelings for the pending summer Olympics to be held in Paris.
`Nothing wrong with that.
@@dogwithwigwamz.7320 Quite right, it is a good thing. I hadn’t meant to sound critical. 😊
Spectacular.thank you all for your service.well done everyone 👍
Thats americans pal
We stood with our French brothers on the battle field many times. Long may that continue. Viva Le France
"Brothers"
Not my brothers
Weve held the line at dunkirk while your pm was celebrating his shitshow of a diplomatic failure with the mustached one. And were holding back asylum seekers whilst relinquishing our sovereignty over calais to the UK. If you want, we could get rid of the Eurotrain which provides tons of tourists to the UK, and just let asylum seekers into the uk? How about we provide them with fishing boats since the french cant even fish in british waters but you canned food bingers can access ours without us bringing bout the armada? Typical sheep owning dentistless english ignroance and small mindness@@Angelcynn_2001

I wonder, What does one have to do in order to stand there as a guard rain or shine all day ?
You have to obey orders.
Now we know the world is ending.
😁
Pete's sake were not French now, as well??
Maybe they've come to take some dinghy divers back!🤣🤣
The King and his family are more French and German than English LOL
@@The-Anti-ZionistWhat has that got to do with this?
This is for the anniversary of the Entente Cordiale.
Bro your language is half french
Why?
`Why` what ?
120th anniversary of the Entente Cordiale.
What is French for - They're changing guards at Buckingham Palace.
C’est Merde
Relève de la garde à Buckingham Palace
Both are already in Ukraine; this just signifies it's about to become official.
They should be at Calais protecting the seas!!!
Well said
This is not one of our priorities.
If English-speaking migrants (Afghans, Pakistanis, etc.) want to go to England, that's your problem.
Either you pay more or you roll up your sleeves to work on your ribs! The French are not volunteers.
I make the effort to speak your language so that you will not have difficulty understanding me.
Protecting the sea from what/who? Neptune?
Did anyone else get a weird feeling seeing french flag soldier in buckingham palace 🏴 🇬🇧
I'm wondering what Wellington would be thinking at this moment. And Boney ......Well must be laughing his guts out
I’m extremely uncomfortable with foreign armed forces outside our king’s gaff. Guards worth their salt would have seen them off.
That's bizarre.
How’s that bizarre you absolute weapon
@@lasakau272because its never happened before, I'll leave the definition underneath so you're less confused.
Bizarre: very strange or unusual
@@Peepsarestrange It's not very strange or unusual.
It's simply allies making a public statement while paying homage .
Never in the history of the guards has this happened it is very strange fact.@@cloraformsgood5340

not habitually or commonly occurring or done.
"the company took the unusual step of complaining publicly about the decision"
Do none of you people own a dictionary?
ANGLO FRENCH HEADING TO UKRAINE THIS SUMMER ALL THE TALK BEING HOW GREAT CHUMS THE 2 ARE
Why? How many times does this governent want to take a s word all over our traditions?
Don't make me laugh - tho' I suspect they're laughing putting on a show with our money!
Treason confirmed
Why??????????? Who next........Hamas?
Dunno what's wrong with you but get back on your meds.
Yeah mate logical step.
Step 1- invite a friendly nation in a display of unity
Step 2- ???
Step 3- terrorists
Doubt it, more likely the genocidal Jews 💀 🇮🇱
lol 😁 you 're not ready !
Why would you let those frogs do that😂😂😂
Entente Cordiale anniversary.
Gayyyyyyyyy
Looks terrible having a left handed handshake, isn’t it bad luck? Who were the non descriptive civil servants on the podium, rather insulting to the French, although I ask myself why bother with this?
Brexit who
The French don’t have a Royal Family . Can you remember what happened to them ? Still , “ Brexit who” cooed the clueless apologist for fascism .😂
Frogs 🐸
I didn't know France even had an army anymore ? Instead of bullets, when the french fire their rifles, a little white flag pops out on a stick.
Much as it pains me to say this, but the French military is regarded these days as a very capable force
Here, the idiot of the day who posts a comment without any historical knowledge. It was not the soldiers but the politicians who requested the armistice. Fortunately the French army was present in Dunkirk to protect your escape. Fortunately the French army was present in Libya at Bir Hakeim and faced Rommel in order to allow the reconstitution of Montgomery's army. And there are plenty of other examples. You joker, answer me if you're not a coward
They will run away or surrender in the first sign of danger :)
if the french are our allies then who needs enemies
Keep ya friends close, and your enemies closer, which is why King Charles is best mates with the Rothschilds 💀
