higher ng = more difficult = more health and damage for boss.
lower ng (new game btw thats what ng stands for), anyways lower ng will have easier time and take less attempts than higher ng. And skill.

It's a bleed Build why would he use rakshasa, the new dlc set Ansbach armor increases Bleed dmg more.

It's crazy how an Ash of War could make a difference in a fight
Giants Hunt on Guts Greatsword is how I killed him, 4100 damage each hit roughly.
That poise break is such perfect timing.
Completely ignores his phase 2.
Radahn couldn't handle the backshots for long
He can handle Miquela's little tanto giving him back shots just fine. It's only when you break out the big black katana that he starts looking worried.
bonus points for not minmaxing the armor but going for fashion instead

I swear my Consort quick turns and swipes me in the time that stab animation takes. I was using a hammer and half the time he just 360° no scoped me.
How much of a difference would Blood Tax be compared to Repeating Thrust? Especially to counter the health draining of Blood Sucking Cracked Tear.
I was using Blood Tax for a few attempts on Radahn, then switched to Repeating Thrust to see the difference. I don't recall the exact numbers, but I believe Repeating Thrust was doing about 20% more damage, at the expense (of course) of not getting health back like Blood Tax gives you. I chose to stay with the more offensive strategy and just focused on getting hit less often. 🤣
Same for me. Blood Tax did less damage.
Brot, thank you for the inspiration. My setup did far too little damage and I releveled according to your build. I couldn't handle the Bloodsucker Tear, it stressed me out too much. I used the Thorny Cracked Tear and the Windy Crystal Tear instead. I did very good damage with those too.

I must be doing it wrong, I tried the ash of war with Naginata and blackflame blade. I just could not get the last hit off the repeating thrust.
Yeah this strategy doesn't work too often. Radahn has several attack types that will interrupt and punish the AoW. So it's very luck based.

Im surprised despite investing barely into arcane for bleed buildup and faith for flame dmg from bladeflame you still doing this much dmg. I guess the scaling for strenght and dex for the weapon is more important.
The weapon does not scale with arcane, so 10 was all that was needed for bloodflame blade. The faith also doesn't do much for damage on bloodflame blade.

Great katana has significantly more stance damage and a decent amount more damage per hit

I ended up actually using the Fextralife guide on each location to find the two I didn't have.
When I get him to the second phase he floats up instead of doing the spinning attack :/😊

There is also blood tax which is repeating thrust but you also heal.

You just got extremely lucky. I can’t replicate this. It’s all RNG. He never staggers. Like maybe once in a great while. It’s so frustrating.
