That Christmas wrap wallpaper was sooooooo 90’s!!!! The hunter green, wine and navy was *the* color scheme back then! Also, the toilet is awesome for cleaning and terrible when you have to replace the seat! 🥴 But the bathroom looks awesome! Y’all did a great job!

Great job as always! Yes, removing wallpaper can be a BIG task, so painting over it like you did, works! I purchased the Mansfield Vanquish toilet as the seat hinges on the sides instead of the back. Much easier to clean. However, I bought the American Standard Edgemere for my half bath per a plumber recommendation, and it's the best. Looking forward to your next project.

Fantastic improvement! Our master bedroom and bathroom is gray and white with cherry wood furniture and brushed nickel fixtures. I LOVE IT. So clean and bright. No way I’m changing it anytime soon.

The easiest way to remove wallpaper is get a wallpaper perforator...it makes tiny little holes all over the wallpaper. Then mix a solution of water and fabric softener. Spay the walls down, then peel it off ..easy
There was wallpaper all over our house that had been painted and plastered over. Unfortunately it was bubbling and pulling apart, so I had to take it all down and it took me months. I'm glad you were able to paint over that!
It turned out beautifully! Love it. Great choice on the new light fixture.I now think we need to replace our toilets 😂

My girls are just about the same age and I found your videos to be so inspiring and helpful. You are a really good mom and I am someone who is trying to break a generational cycle and parent the right way, it really taught me alot of how to be with my girls. Best wallpaper remover: hot water mixed with fabric softener. Like half and half.
Liquid Fabric softener and water in a sprayer and a plastic paint scraper.

Wallpaper removal is a straight bitch! Took me a week to remove the wallpaper from my formal living room. After all the tricks, fabric softener is what worked & bonus smelled amazing! 🤣

get a paper tiger and 5gal bucket hot water pour in a cup of laundry softener.saturate with the water mix and get a scraper use paper tiger and scrap as you go ,it falls off the walls.don't oversoak drywall ,not necessary.
Best thing for wallpaper removal is to steam it. I used a handheld laundry steamer and it worked great. Get as much paper off as possible then sand. It looks great how you did it tho. Sometimes just do whatever is easiest! 🤷♀️
We were in a rental once that felt like Christmas year round .. red green floral with gold wallpaper with throughout the entire house … bedroom red carpet and downstairs green carpet 😂

I bought a house 5 months ago and 1/2 of it is covered in 70s wallpaper. I feel your pain! I've finally figured out a system to get wallpaper off but it took a A LOT of trial and error lol. I was so tempted to wallpaper or paint over it but since it's so much of our house it really all does need to come down. I'm almost done with the dining room, just three more rooms to go! Lol

I think I’m the only person who loves removing wallpaper 🤣 My grandmas new house was covered in it, and I had the BEST time steaming and peeling for hours.
It’s fun for a bit until you have to make sure everything is off 🤣😅
You could probably do that as a side hustle when you're itching for a good peel. lol
We steamed off rooms and rooms of wallpaper in our house and then when it came to our kitchen we were over it so just painted over it. But yrs ago we were told to use oil base paint over the wallpaper so it wouldn't bubble. And it worked!

Don’t they make wallpaper adhesive remover? You’re supposed to wet the wall paper down with it before scraping, it comes off like butter!
What’s the name of the wallpaper you chose. I can’t find it on the site and I love it
We hired pros to remove the wallpaper from our 90’s kitchen and they said it was on too tight and just painted over it! The adhesives they used back in the day were something else!
