OR be like me and just paint everything the same color Lol No worries, using a light neutral so not a big deal to use on the walls and ceilings. The black may be just a bit too much. :P

I have found that if you warm the lotion up it will become more of a liquid and it’s easier to decant into a different bottle. Put it in hot water or warm up in the microwave 10-15 seconds at a time. Then use a funnel and it will go a lot quicker!

A top to get lotion/soap in the bottles.... I use an icing bag like you use for cake decorating. You can dump all your product in it then just push the tip of the bag into the bottle and squeeze! Ta-da!

I use a funnel and then a long wooden skewer (one used for shish kebab when you grill) and poke the lotion in. It takes a while but is way less messy and the lotion doesn't muck up the top of the bottle. Just toss the skewer when you're done.

The easiest way I have found to fill lotion dispensers is to put the lotion in a ziploc baggy cut the corner tip off the bottom of the bag and squeeze the lotion into the bottle.

I love everything about the bathroom! Maybe the view of the paper towels is not good but it would seem too tight for me to get one without moving or trying to get around the plant without getting it wet in the process.

To refill the lotion bottle, I find using a pipe bag helps, I diy mine because the opening on my bottle is kinda small. But just fill the bag with the lotion, insert the tip in the bottle, go deep, then squeeze. Move the bag up slowly as you squeeze.

The lotion will become pourable if you warm it. This can be done in the microwave if the container isn't metal - but be careful because it heats up quickly, just a few seconds at a time and then check it. If it's a metal container you can put it in some warm to hot water on the stove and gently warm it until the lotion is pourable. It works! Great also for getting out those last bits of lotion that never want to pump out.

I found that when paint does that where there is a white spot, let the whole area dry and use a sponge to cover it. Sometimes you start wiping wet on wet where as if you let the rest of the area dry it helps it to stick

Just a tip on pulling the tape off after painting. Take your blow dryer and turn it on the tape as you pull it off. It warms up the sticky side and it comes off much much easier. I accidently left a piece on for like a week and it was not going to come off. With the blow dryer it came right off.

@@jessicaleslie-byrn8008 I agree that paper towels are wasteful and feel cheap. While visiting a friend’s house, I saw that she sets out a basket of clean washcloths for guests to use as hand towels. I prefer to use this option when I have guests in the house. Otherwise, there’s no issue with hand towels if you know that people in your house wash their hands properly and you change the towel daily.

Angle the bottle that you want to put the product into, about 30 degrees or so from level, making sure that you leave a small area where air flows in and out of the container you are putting the product in. As you are SLOWLY pouring the product from one container into the desired container, stop periodically and tap the desired container down to "tamp" down the product put into it. Continue until you have filled the desired container to the level you wish. Voila!

I use that same tool for trim and you are right, satisfying and such a life saver! However, I noticed the area I used that tool on has a different "shine" than where I used the roller. Have you noticed that? Either way, life saver and I love it! Use a flexible funnel for the lotion, that way you can squeeze it through when needed! The powder room looks nice, the black is "moody" but clean and classic.

Yes I have noticed a little difference in the sheen from each brush. I try to rollover the edges as close as I can to help make it match best I can. Thanks for watching!

The white spot is probably silicon caulk. You can’t paint over caulk unless it has latex. Builder probably got some on the wall when they were doing your toilet.

Love the sign! Will be interested to hear if someone has a hack for the lotion. All I can think is a funnel nor knife, but that'd still be messy. Have a good week!🌻

I love that you are getting into crystals and rocks. I'm a huge crystal and rock lover, we've been collecting (with restraint or there'd be 7 million in my house) them for 20ish years. The one you got at Rebecca's is called a geode.

Hello-the accent wall looks great. Regarding the lotion bottles-I use a funnel in the container-pour the lotion into the funnel-filling it up and let it drop in slowly. Some lotions are thicker than others. Best Wishes

Fill up a zip lock bag for the lotion and just snip a corner as if you are icing a cake but squeeze into the bottle or a funnel if have one :) Powder room looks awesome!

Once again 😍🥰😍 and another question 😬🤪 do you like the texture walls or prefer flat? We have had texture for years and we are about to gut our home for repairs from the hurricanes that direct hit us last August and October so I’m trying to decide if I want texture again or not. My 👎🏻 is the amount of dust trapped in the groves.

Like the Bathroom very much! I liked it bevore aswell but now it's how you said, very moody. The gold touches are gorgeous! In case nobody wrote it already in the thousands of comments, the spot on the wall could be silicone from the baseboards (maybe the builder touched the wall while doing it). Usually they seal they with silicone and its very hard to paint over it. instead you can use acrylic sealant then is no problem with paint over it. Have a very nice day, greetings from germany. We watch all of your videos or vlogs
