Pikler inspiration, by Dr. Agnes Szanto-Feder

Inspired by Dr. Emmi Pikler’s groundbreaking Pedagogical Approach, we invite you to a 4-day (three-hours per day) course with Dr. Agnes Szanto-Feder. She was not only a true Pikler baby but also had an ongoing relationship with Dr. Pikler. She will be sharing the importance of freedom of movement, observation, and providing a safe space that advocates autonomy for an infant through her years of experience and devotion to the Piklerian philosophy.
Dr. Szanto-Feder found that the balance of the infant in their self-initiated gross motor development and balance in their nurturing and caring relationship with their caregivers are key ways in which the infant can reach their true potential and autonomy.
In this course, we will have the opportunity to learn from the expertise and wisdom of our Pikler® Experts, Dr. Agnes Szanto-Feder, and President of Pikler/Lóczy USA, Elsa Chahin. They will be showing how you can best implement a space where you can respectfully promote the gross motor development of infants and young children.
