- Dougie Poynter from McBusted is dating Ellie Goulding who's song 'Love Me Like You Do' is on the'50 Shades of Grey' soundtrack so it only made sense to make the boys read bits of the book and do this amazing cover of the song! Both were excellent!

I have, its always on repeat but in my opinion I believe the album is lacking in Danny. I know they have to space out vocals with the 5 members that sing but his vocals in this song really come to life; much like they do in Beautiful Girls and also Back In Time. I just think that his range is brought out here. But also i really enjoy the album xxx

Busted formed in 2001 and split in 2005 after 2 albums as Charlie Simpson didn't feel the music was fulfilling him, so he went to his side project band Fightstar full time. They have had 3 incredible albums since and Charlie has recently done 2 astonishing solo albums. I also saw him live solo a few months ago and it was beyond beautiful.
James Bourne, founder of Busted, went on to make one album with Son of Dork and then wrote musicals and a solo album under the name Future Boy. SoD album was amazing but FB was only okay.
Matt Willis went on to win I'm A Celeb and make an exceptional solo album, then went over to America to present and then act on the West End.
McFly formed in 2003 after Tom Fletcher was kicked out of Busted in 2001. He met Danny Jones and later Dougie Pointer and Harry Judd. After supporting Busted, McFly went on to be the biggest band in the UK and have had 7 UK No.1 singles. That is MORE THAN 1D HAVE HAD!!! All 5 of McFlys albums have been above and beyond expectations.
In 2013, James Bourne came to see how McFly were doing on their tour and McFly asked him to go on before and play a few songs. It went down really well and then at the 10th Anniversary dates of McFly, McBusted played 3 songs and since then they have done the best tour I have ever been to, made the second best album of 2014 (Coldplays Ghost Stories is first) and are currently embarking on their second tour which I will be attending in 2 weeks.
15/16 albums to come from the Busted and McFly boys since 2001 have all been in another bigger, better universe both lyrically, instrumentally and vocally and any other way musically possible than all 4 1D albums.
Before you slam me, I do like 1D, but the first two albums are crap. Midnight Memories and Four are great, but not at the standard of McFly or Busted.
Oh and the Jonas Brothers basically stole Busted songs, redid them to be more kid friendly. Jonas Bros....Umm. ..suck.

Don't forget that McFly are the world record holders in being the youngest band ever having their debut album go straight to Number 1. Not even 1D or the legendary The Beatles have done that. Also McBusted was the biggest UK arena tour of 2014, by selling out an impressive 32 day arena tour

i cannot even begin to express how good danny's voice is. he just has this astounding voice.
Danny and Toms voice were the best in this song. But Matt honestly wasn't as good as them. But if they were to sing a rock song, Matt would slay. It's just that their voices are different and fit different songs, not that Danny and Tom are better. AND DOUGIE SHOULD HAVE HAD A MICROPHONE TOO

I get where you're coming from, I totally understand. I loved McFly on their own, but at the same time I like the direction McBusted's music has gone in, It's more like they were in the very beginning, and I kind of like it I suppose, it's a but more punky I guess? That might not be the right word but I'm sure you'll agree that it's definitely a bit different. I do love Mcfly, but I think it's good that they can have the opportunity to mix it up and have some fun, I'm sure it must be a good laugh for them being able to have a bit of a change, knowing that if it doesn't work out or they don't like it they can be Mcfly again. And I think it's good that they are supporting Busted, I think that Busted ended before they should have, and it lets Matt and James have another go and re-live their younger times! But of course I totally get what you mean, Mcfly were absolutely incredible as they were :)x
I love this version so much, Tom's falsetto is so beautiful, and what can I say about Danny's voice? Give me chills like always! Matt's vocal is amazing too. I just wished that Dougie had sing at least backing vocal here, but he did very well on guitar. And love when Harry does acoustic percussion. ❤
