Charlie Puth who said he can't sing but then he put his voice through a computer and he magically can sing, was him being modest, he can sing aswell. Autotune is a tool not a miracle product.

Great observation. Of course some of the contemporary greats do their own production. Artists from my day would have killed for the tech today's musicians have - we were in 8 track studios, everything was live, and vocal manipulation was down to laying a double track to make the voice fuller (autotune - wot's that?!). Yeah, it was a long time ago LOL 🤣🙄
