@Nadia Belk Hi there and thank you for watching and commenting on my the video. You are absolutely right. To be a teacher requires many different talents and it is for this reason that teachers are always special people. x
I'm in my first year of my English degree for teaching. And this is very useful, thank you very much. BTW: I always planned my classes by the PPP but now I have a better way to think of a planning lesson... thanks miss ❤
Hi Deirdre, loved your video - especially using the analogy of a lesson plan as a meal. Looking forward to seeing more of your online lessons. Kind regards, Victoria x 🏵🌷🏵🌷🏵🌷🏵
Hi :) I just wanted to let you know that I used the metaphor with the restaurant during my presentation on lesson plans and the audience loved it. So just wanted to come here and say thank u!
I wanted some guidance to plan my lessons for when I mentor people on how to draw. This was just what I was looking for even though I'm teaching something different lol. Thank you :)

Hello there Practice comes before production, I believe. The students practice the language structure leart in the presentation stage before trying to produce their own examples. Cheers 😊
Hi Mohamed Goulmekki. Thanks for your comment and of course, this is valid. It depends how you interpret "production" and "practice". The PPP is a deductive approach which entails the teacher presenting the target language, followed by the students being given the opportunity to produce the language in controlled activities, followed by practice in freer activities. Therefore, you could describe this as either controlled production followed by freer practice or controlled practice followed by freer production. To a certain extent, it's just semantics. Of course, as I stated in my video, there are numerous lesson plan approaches and therefore, no single "correct" way to approach an effective lesson. Thanks again.
@@PalmTreeTeachingTV I do agree with you, but as I see it, after being exposed to a specific language input, students normally practice using it in a more or less controlled way. Once they get the hang of iy, they are then asked to rely on their creativity to come up with a fairly new output. That s what makes the production stage, by nature, have that free and creative aspect.Cheers 😊
