Runway Gen-3 just brought into reality what most people were talking about when they say one day people would make their own shows to watch buy giving a short description. Hell, how many novels are there with no other adaption where you could just plug the text into something like this and have it create a series for you to watch.
LOADS of promise here. Runway has a solid track record, so we're optimistic. But we need to get our hands on the tech to really know what's what... sooooon?!
@@mtallan yup now you won't have to worry about studio budget or if they will/won't adopt the entire story something because of sensitive reasons. You don't have to worry about race swapping of characters or other DEI nonsense and can go by the author description. This will bring new life into the entertainment space.

i wanna make similar videos to the rain one and add relaxing AI music or AI generated rain/storm sounds and make 24/7 youtube channels to either sleep to or relax to the sounds
It is so good, it's like in the level of Sora. I thought nothing would surprise me more than Sora did, and Runway Gen-2 was shitty and cursed, I hate Gen-2 more than anything. I didn't think anything could teach Sora so soon.
Cristobal just said it was gonna be the same price as current Runway stuff -- i guess we'll see. but it IS actually supposed to launch in a few days, have read it a few places now
this is going to be the stickiest part -- i think consistency in video is kind of like hallucinations in LLM / chatbot responses... but I think we can see some solutions eventually
@AIForHumansShow Yep, and as Sam Alt says, allucinations are a good thing because it's linked to creativity. Now they just need to be able to juggle creativity and consistency separately (and creativity from reliable information in the case of chatbots)
