OMG, this scenario sounds almost exactly like the scenario for a world I made up myself, the virus for my world was named ' The Dragonbite Virus ' and is completely fictional. The virus turns infected hostile and the infected slowly, painfully morph into winged, scaly, dragon-like beings. The transformation lasts for a week and, without the cure, will leave you stuck like that for years upon years if not given within that timeframe. Don't worry though, I didn't take this idea from you, as I thought of this as inspiration. I watched this EAS scenario 6 months ago and got inspiration from it, and , now watching it. Hadn't realized how similar both scenarios are. In other, more simpler words, this is amazing and you're the reason for my inspiration ^^
TheReal Monkey wouldn’t the turkeys carry the infection in them? And there are some homeless people that eat these turkeys, there’s like an abundance of turkeys there (I’m from Bayonne, NJ and the zombies crossed the Bayonne bridge from Staten Island fml)
The scary part is, Cordyceps is deadly enough to infect insects like ants turning them into zombies and thats pretty horrifying, Realizing that if it was to happen to humans seems pretty realistic enough so listening to the scenario was bone chilling but I'm not gonna lie listening to it in a dark room at 1 In the morning sure scared the lights out of me. The amazing thrill of a lifetime.
the most terrifying part about this is that, unlike other scenarios, there's no theatrics. there's no "and then this happened". it's just, "this is happening, and this is the news on it."
EAS decided to grace me with the knowledge that the COVID vaccine was available for people 16 and older a few months ago. 0/10 would not recommend that experience again
@@Kastrenzo74yeah martial law is declared by some government and is always enforced and enforced by the military, law enforcement just helps impose martial law along with the military, it would be better to say that the state governor declared martial law and the military (the national guard) will apply and impose it and in fact why was the national guard only mentioned when they would bomb the cities overrun by the infected? with the situation in the states of New York and New Jersey getting out of control of local and state law enforcement and the fact that the governors of these two states have declared a state of emergency, it was time for the national guard to act and provide assistance to law enforcement to maintain order

After some consideration, I'm happy to announce that I'm preparing a new Infection scenario! It will be a completely new infection that won't be related to any of my previous projects sharing the name. No release date yet, but I'm committed to making this project be realized. Stay tuned!

Everybody gangsta till you pause the video and you can still hear the attention signals
This is still one of my favorite EAS videos out there. I genuinely have nostalgia for it, back when I first found this community and watched a ton of videos over that summer. I really wish this guy did scenarios again.
This is super cool. If I didn't have a fear of the EAS tones I would watch it with sound on. This is an awesome thing to watch while home sick
Seriously, I-I just can't! This EAS is so good!
my friends on halloween: “let’s watch a horror movie!”
me: “no” **plays this**
This is so well done! You're the most underrated eas Creator. Keep it up!
Holy shit that last part with the low robotic voice surprised me and scared the living shit out of me. Amazing video, I love these
How in the HELL did they make it from NY to Rochester in an HOUR?!
Edit: Ah, popping up everywhere. Got it.
Also when people saw the zombies they would likely gtfo. They would get in their car and drive; unknowingly bringing the virus with them.
@@fluffyrat2653 *fungus. Even more likely to spread like that.
@FluffyRat26 yeah. Like the episode of Chicago med when a dad accidentally infects his son unknowingly with his car. The car had these funguses, which spread to passengers on ride share who rode with the dad. Watch the video titled 'dad unknowingly infects son with car'

At 27:30 I left room for a few seconds. In my head I hear the three beep thingy and panicked a bit before I realized A) We don't have tv or radio, my family streams everything and B) I live in canada, and I don't think we have the EAS thing here. I think I've been watching too many of these EAS scenarios...
You are correct about Canada not having the EAS, but they have something just like it called "Alert Ready"
Your have the PBS(Public Brodcast System)
thecat627 they have cbctelevison
how do u keep ur self entertained if there's no TV or radio
Actually you do have Canadian EAS, one is Alert Ready and the PBS.
I just found these types of videos, and I already love them!
They’re so badass and very fucking terrifying.
4:10 temperatures in the upper twent beeeeeeeeeeeep!
Andrew Teel shoulda been 4:20
My favorite number,😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is still one of the best of these EAS scenarios I've seen! Keep it up!
I'm happy I got an ad before the video, it's giving me time to contemplate if watching this at 1 am in the morning is a good idea
What was the verdict?
@@alexburke853 The verdict was fall asleep halfway through and wake up to air raid siren ratings
After this video, you've earned yourself another subscriber! This video gave me chills down my spine especially when the announcer said May God be with you all scared the living shit out of me
Nostalgia, hard to believe this is 5 years old, THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES
now 7 years old
Holy crap, you can even hear a slight buzz and static in the backround. Very detailed, well done.
Wow... this was amazing. Weirdly enough, the very informal talk from what I assume is average "news/radio" people just talking about their own personal experience/situation was the eeriest.... maybe because it seemed more real
Radio stations normally: (local news, music, DJ chatter and weather equally)
Radio stations in dewpoint's videos: *OH BOY I DO SURE LOVE WEATHER FORECASTS*
(Great video anyway btw)
KX94.7 be like: traffic, country music, contests, chatter, weather, talking with fans.
Edit: KX94.7 is a country music rush hour radio station.
That moment when most hospitals in Staten Island have turkeys surrounding them...
Captain Red worddddd you're right
Wicked late but they meant dead turkey, the joke being that the infection was started by everyone eating contaminated turkey on thanksgiving
TheReal Monkey wouldn’t the turkeys carry the infection in them? And there are some homeless people that eat these turkeys, there’s like an abundance of turkeys there (I’m from Bayonne, NJ and the zombies crossed the Bayonne bridge from Staten Island fml)
MrSpinel I live near Toms River and there are wild turkeys everywhere! I’m so fucked!
Just make turkeys go extinct and then we are fine
I love the part "rioters are attacking police in most ridiculous way possible" lol
I love how this man puts in accurate stations for the area, Like 1010 WINS
This is becoming one of my favorite EAS scenarios, so far, due to the eeriness of the end instructions.
18:12 scared the heck out of me
The EAS strikes the fear of God in you, and then tells you "hey its a little too windy today"
EAS decided to grace me with the knowledge that the COVID vaccine was available for people 16 and older a few months ago. 0/10 would not recommend that experience again
"the police have placed staten island under martial law"
wait what.
@BoomerLemon yes
@-Lemon- Yes, and they most definetly SHOULD do that in this kind of scenario.
@@ceooflowrolls2081 The point of the comment was that the police cannot enact martial law. martial law means that it's the military.
I was watching this alone in my bed and an ad appeared, i literally had a mini heart attack because i thought there was another of those weird unexpected amber alerts
