So sad and heartbroken for these folks. I was listening on the scanner that night and watching the storm chasers who were visibly upset when they were reporting the damage they were seeing that night. These people will need our help. We as fellow Americans have to help them. Please donate time money and resources to the groups that are on the ground helping.

Would you prefer everybody types in the amounts they've donated as well Jennifer? My family here in Australia have given $50 if that helps soothe your concern
I've looked at many videos showing the destruction left by the tornadoes. I have such sorrow in my heart about the loss of lives. Those families are grieving the loss of their homes as well as the loss of loved ones. I cannot imagine how grieved they must be! At the same time, as I consider the destruction that I've seen on video, I'm sure the gravity of this entire tragedy is much more traumatic for those standing on their plots of earth with only memories remaining of the joys of living there. I think it's miraculous that more lives were not lost!!!
I looked at Rolling Fork, MS on Google Earth and it did not look like a trailer community to me. Yes, there were mobile homes. There were also regular old sticks and mortar subdivision.
This is so sad. My prayers are with them all those little items just blown miles away were parts of people everyday lives that have been turned upside down
With satellite technology that we have in the U.S. today, I’m surprised and shocked these people could not receive warnings before the tornado struck. How did this devastating storm approach, injure and kill like it did when there just have to be ways to give warning beforehand?
They *were* warned beforehand. But this thing was huge and on the ground for an hour. It had wind gusts of 166-200 mph, traveled at least 170 miles, and it was at night. There was no time, no place to hide, and no escaping it.
It hadn’t actually formed into an actual tornado to report until right before it hit. It formed suddenly into a giant quarter mile wide wedge that was moving at 70 mph with wind strength if 270 mph. By the time the storm chaser notified the national weather organization they only had about two minutes and not even time to sound the alarm system. If a tornado is already formed then it can be reported. But this one didn’t form until just a very few minutes before it hit.
True but that is how they rate tornados. Knowing the difference in how wood and brick react to winds determine the EF factor. Having downed a brick structure makes it a stronger EF than if only wood structures were damaged. No one is saying brick houses will always be saved only that it takes more force.
:05 Why was the newscaster so happy about the destruction of a bar?? And if something is found "3 hours away", how is that measured in distance exactly?

The tornado outbreak back in the early 70s started in Alabama trave!ing to southern middle Tennessee... We found cancelled checks from the Bank of Moulton of AL in Winchester, TN....some found 20 dollar bills in their yards while mowing...3 days of long tracking tornadoes
I visited Rolling Fork Mississippi this past weekend and it was just breath taken. My concern is IF they have list everything thing why is it that Red Cross is doing a lot to help but FEMA is turning down help for them.
God is speaking all across America and we refuse to listen to HIM. We want to live the way we want to live. America must bring God back to our schools, our government, our homes, and our communities.
*_One item never shown is aftermath of what happens to Livestock in Tornado..._* Cattle, Horses, Goats, Sheep, Pigs, Chickens, Pets....any Critter outside is subject to same catastrophic winds that can lay entire forests over like flattened toothpicks. I have seen large herds of cattle get hit by F4 and F5 tornadoes. The cattle have already turned facing opposite direction of winds. They do this out of instinct in any wind. Tail to wind, head down, and they kept eating pasture grass. Tornadoes can pick up Rail Cars, Semi's, Cars just like they are toys. Cattle are picked up and then swirled like rag dolls, ascending hundreds of feet in the air, then they are hurled outward at over 100 miles per hour. No cattle can survive falling from 250 feet. Add 100 mph speed horizontally, when they hit the ground, it looks like they got hit by giant Locomotives. Most of the carcasses do not land in the pasture where they were picked up. They might end up over a mile away. Tornadoes create high speed debris that is more like a mega sized blender. Everything gets ripped apart, mixed with other obliterated debris, and that stuff lands a mile away. Among all the downed trees and building ruble, there are partial pieces of outside livestock mixed in. *_They are unrecognizable...._*
